seem_v to_o be_v that_o a_o poor_a solitary_a prophet_n out_o of_o israel_n shall_v enter_v the_o street_n of_o the_o great_a metropolis_n of_o assyria_n niniveh_n that_o great_a city_n who_o compass_n say_v historian_n be_v forty_o eight_o mile_n and_o her_o tower_n fifteen_o hundred_o nay_o so_o exceed_v great_a that_o the_o prophet_n himself_o chap._n 3._o ver_fw-la 3._o affirm_v it_o to_o be_v three_o day_n journey_n within_o itself_o that_o he_o shall_v there_o denounce_v woeful_a judgement_n against_o the_o inhabitant_n thereof_o if_o within_o forty_o day_n they_o humble_v not_o untoward_a accident_n shall_v be_v so_o wise_o manage_v in_o the_o event_n as_o to_o mighty_o advantage_n that_o end_v which_o they_o appear_v so_o much_o direct_o to_o oppose_v this_o plain_o show_v that_o such_o thing_n be_v the_o lord_n do_n 23._o and_o aught_o to_o be_v marvellous_a in_o our_o eye_n yet_o upon_o these_o strange_a occurrence_n it_o be_v probable_a the_o mariner_n can_v not_o be_v the_o great_a affliction_n he_o will_v most_o glory_n in_o and_o the_o philosopher_n account_v man_n at_o sea_n to_o be_v but_o a_o kind_n of_o borderer_n between_o the_o live_n and_o the_o dead_a 24._o they_o that_o go_v down_o to_o the_o sea_n in_o ship_n say_v the_o psalmist_n they_o see_v the_o work_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o his_o wonder_n in_o the_o deep_a i._n e._n the_o great_a and_o mighty_a work_n of_o the_o creation_n and_o the_o extraordinary_a wonder_n of_o god_n providence_n be_v so_o apparent_a to_o these_o man_n eye_n that_o they_o can_v but_o consider_v they_o and_o take_v especial_a notice_n of_o the_o danger_n they_o pass_v through_o and_o however_o custom_n may_v in_o time_n wear_v off_o all_o sense_n of_o danger_n yet_o can_v it_o never_o lessen_v it_o as_o will_v appear_v by_o consider_v these_o three_o thing_n 1._o the_o suddenness_n of_o those_o calamity_n which_o may_v happen_v to_o seafaring_a man_n 2._o the_o number_n of_o they_o and_o 3._o their_o frequency_n for_o their_o suddenness_n there_o be_v no_o kind_n of_o accident_n to_o which_o the_o life_n of_o man_n be_v subject_a that_o be_v so_o sure_a and_o swift_a executioner_n as_o those_o which_o lie_v in_o wait_n for_o mariner_n a_o man_n may_v linger_v out_o his_o day_n under_o a_o sore_a disease_n and_o though_o some_o fierce_a kind_n may_v soon_o seize_v upon_o his_o vital_n yet_o rare_o be_v death_n this_o way_n so_o swift_a of_o foot_n as_o not_o to_o give_v some_o warn_v to_o the_o patient_n and_o by_o alarm_v his_o conscience_n make_v he_o so_o to_o consider_v his_o latter_a end_n as_o to_o apply_v his_o heart_n to_o wisdom_n and_o repentance_n but_o alas_o it_o be_v far_o otherwise_o in_o the_o condition_n i_o be_o now_o speak_v of_o 44_o a_o man_n may_v see_v a_o cloud_n no_o big_a than_o his_o hand_n yet_o in_o a_o moment_n its_o water_n shall_v overwhelm_v he_o and_o the_o deep_a shall_v swallow_v he_o up_o quick_a before_o he_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o arise_v and_o call_v upon_o his_o god_n the_o consideration_n of_o this_o can_v but_o inform_v you_o what_o obligation_n you_o have_v above_o other_o man_n to_o be_v always_o in_o a_o readiness_n and_o diligent_o to_o watch_v because_o you_o know_v not_o in_o what_o hour_n this_o sad_a calamity_n may_v fall_v upon_o you_o watch_z therefore_o 44._o for_o you_o know_v not_o what_o hour_n the_o lord_n do_v come_v but_o know_v this_o that_o if_o the_o good_a man_n of_o the_o house_n have_v know_v in_o what_o watch_n the_o thief_n will_v come_v he_o will_v have_v watch_v and_o will_v not_o have_v suffer_v his_o house_n to_o be_v break_v up_o therefore_o be_v you_o also_o ready_a for_o in_o such_o a_o hour_n as_o you_o think_v not_o the_o son_n of_o man_n come_v for_o the_o number_n of_o the_o lord_n will_v you_o not_o tremble_v at_o my_o presence_n which_o have_v place_v the_o sand_n for_o the_o bind_v of_o the_o sea_n by_o a_o perpetual_a decree_n that_o it_o can_v pass_v it_o and_o though_o the_o wave_n thereof_o toss_v themselves_o yet_o

foulness_n of_o weather_n inhumanity_n of_o stranger_n scarcity_n and_o badness_n of_o provision_n indisposition_n of_o body_n pass_v through_o various_a clime_n etc._n etc._n and_o what_o be_v
