creature_n three_o it_o appear_v that_o the_o glory_n which_o he_o have_v with_o the_o father_n be_v not_o divine_a or_o the_o high_a glory_n because_o it_o be_v to_o be_v communicate_v glorify_v i_o o_o father_n with_o that_o glory_n etc._n etc._n now_o the_o high_a glory_n be_v infinite_a can_v not_o be_v give_v or_o communicate_v to_o the_o humane_a nature_n which_o be_v finite_a and_o so_o uncapable_a of_o it_o this_o be_v but_o your_o own_o assertion_n in_o what_o you_o speak_v relate_v to_o the_o creation_n but_o it_o be_v absurd_a to_o conceive_v that_o the_o divine_a glory_n which_o be_v essential_a in_o god_n can_v be_v communicate_v to_o the_o divine_a nature_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o therefore_o this_o glory_n be_v not_o the_o high_a and_o the_o subject_n of_o it_o be_v a_o creature_n thus_o i_o shall_v take_v my_o leave_n of_o the_o scripture_n which_o you_o allege_v to_o confirm_v that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v the_o most_o high_a god_n leave_v they_o for_o that_o they_o be_v intend_v for_o be_v without_o controversy_n not_o useless_a but_o exceed_v useful_a sir_n unto_o your_o text_n of_o scripture_n you_o adjoyn_v one_o reason_n if_o it_o please_v you_o so_o to_o call_v it_o which_o i_o shall_v set_v down_o in_o your_o own_o word_n thus_o it_o may_v be_v say_v true_o that_o this_o doctrine_n which_o make_v christ_n a_o mere_a creature_n bring_v in_o as_o it_o be_v another_o gospel_n destroy_v the_o true_a gospel_n in_o many_o of_o the_o part_n of_o it_o and_o bring_v in_o another_o scripture_n in_o many_o main_a point_n come_v now_o let_v we_o reason_n together_o concern_v this_o your_o reason_n which_o be_v formidable_a in_o appearance_n to_o your_o antagonist_n but_o whether_o it_o carry_v the_o sword_n of_o truth_n in_o its_o hand_n and_o strength_n of_o conviction_n let_v we_o now_o serious_o consider_v that_o we_o may_v with_o the_o more_o certainty_n and_o facility_n determine_v i_o shall_v be_v your_o leave_n draw_v your_o reason_n into_o the_o form_n of_o a_o argument_n thus_o that_o doctrine_n which_o bring_v in_o as_o it_o be_v another_o gospel_n destroy_v the_o true_a gospel_n in_o many_o of_o the_o part_n of_o it_o etc._n etc._n be_v erroneous_a and_o to_o be_v reject_v but_o that_o doctrine_n which_o make_v christ_n a_o mere_a creature_n do_v so_o therefore_o sir_n i_o shall_v subscribe_v with_o both_o hand_n if_o need_v be_v to_o the_o major_n that_o it_o be_v true_a and_o if_o the_o minor_a be_v of_o the_o same_o blood_n i_o shall_v conclude_v with_o you_o in_o the_o conclusion_n and_o let_v he_o be_v anathema_n that_o hold_v the_o contrary_a but_o how_o will_v it_o appear_v that_o that_o doctrine_n which_o make_v christ_n a_o mere_a creature_n do_v bring_v in_o as_o it_o be_v another_o gospel_n destroy_v the_o true_a gospel_n in_o many_o of_o the_o part_n of_o it_o &_o c_o that_o it_o may_v be_v evident_a you_o bring_v in_o twelve_o instance_n which_o be_v they_o good_a and_o true_a though_o few_o may_v serve_v for_o a_o sufficient_a jury_n to_o bring_v in_o a_o final_a verdict_n concern_v the_o thing_n in_o debate_n but_o of_o what_o moment_n your_o instance_n be_v let_v we_o now_o examine_v instance_n 1_o if_o christ_n be_v but_o a_o mere_a creature_n and_o not_o god_n than_o the_o give_v of_o divine_a worship_n and_o honour_n and_o service_n to_o a_o mere_a creature_n be_v lawful_a and_o warrantable_a which_o yet_o everywhere_o be_v forbid_v in_o reference_n to_o any_o creature_n but_o be_v practise_v unto_o christ_n in_o rev._n 5.12_o 13_o 14._o and_o will_v be_v idolatry_n if_o christ_n be_v not_o god_n answ_n
