will_n or_o do_v any_o thing_n that_o be_v good_a and_o as_o it_o do_v impose_v awaken_v and_o powerful_o stir_v up_o to_o its_o self_n nothing_o else_o but_o the_o die_a and_o death_n so_o likewise_o it_o can_v do_v nothing_o else_o unto_o its_o fellow-member_n for_o hence_o also_o arise_v the_o falsehood_n or_o lie_n that_o the_o creature_n deny_v the_o union_n with_o or_o in_o the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o set_v his_o self-hood_n in_o the_o place_n so_o that_o it_o go_v forth_o from_o the_o unity_n into_o desire_n and_o self-lust_n if_o it_o do_v but_o true_o know_v that_o all_o being_n be_v which_o go_v out_o of_o its_o selfishness_n or_o self-hood_n again_o into_o the_o resignation_n the_o same_o become_v also_o a_o enemy_n and_o a_o abominate_a to_o self-hood_n as_o sickness_n be_v a_o then_o self-hood_n lose_v the_o power_n and_o prevalency_n and_o the_o lust_n of_o self-hood_n arise_v as_o a_o continual_a longing_n self-hood_n do_v then_o continual_o long_a after_o the_o form_n of_o its_o own_o life_n viz._n after_o self-glory_n and_o after_o earthly_a abundance_n also_o after_o envy_n and_o anger_n whether_o it_o may_v be_v able_a to_o attain_v that_o abundance_n and_o also_o after_o the_o cunning_a lie_n of_o falsehood_n these_o be_v the_o vital_a form_n of_o the_o earthly_a self-hood_n 16._o but_o the_o resigned_n will_n do_v as_o a_o potent_a champion_n continual_o bruise_v the_o head_n of_o this_o serpent_n and_o say_v thou_o be_v arisen_a from_o the_o devil_n and_o god_n anger_n i_o will_v none_o of_o thou_o thou_o be_v a_o abominate_a before_o god_n and_o although_o the_o resign_v will_n be_v sometime_o captivate_v with_o false_a lust_n when_o it_o do_v overwhelm_v and_o overpower_v it_o with_o the_o devil_n desire_v and_o insinuation_n of_o its_o imagination_n yet_o the_o resigned_n will_n do_v forthwith_o cry_v unto_o the_o breath_n word_n of_o god_n that_o god_n will_v do_v again_o bring_v it_o out_o of_o the_o abominate_a of_o death_n 17._o the_o resign_v will_n have_v no_o rest_n here_o in_o this_o cottage_n but_o must_v always_o be_v in_o combat_n for_o it_o

self-hood_n save_v only_o in_o the_o fair_a solar_a lustre_n of_o his_o precious_a pearl_n when_o the_o sun_n arise_v to_o he_o in_o the_o darkness_n than_o the_o night_n depart_v and_o all_o sorrow_n and_o anguish_n fly_v away_o 33._o therefore_o dear_a brethren_n learn_v to_o take_v heed_n and_o beware_v of_o contention_n where_o man_n contend_v about_o the_o literal_a form_n a_o true_a
