parliament_n be_v intend_v to_o be_v open_v and_o upon_o the_o day_n appoint_v for_o the_o assemble_v of_o it_o by_o the_o convocation-writ_a they_o be_v call_v to_o the_o chapterhouse_n at_o paul_n or_o to_o such_o other_o place_n as_o the_o archbishop_n appoint_v and_o that_o oftentimes_o heretofore_o on_o some_o other_o day_n than_o that_o on_o which_o the_o parliament_n begin_v 3._o the_o parliamentary-writ_a summon_v they_o to_o come_v to_o parliament_n there_o to_o treat_v etc._n etc._n with_o the_o king_n the_o rest_n of_o the_o prelate_n and_o lord_n and_o other_o inhabitant_n of_o the_o realm_n concern_v the_o urgent_a affair_n that_o be_v there_o to_o be_v deliberate_v of_o with_o respect_n to_o the_o king_n the_o realm_n and_o the_o state_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n parliamentary-writ_a only_o the_o dean_n archdeacon_n and_o proctor_n of_o the_o clergy_n be_v summon_v but_o the_o convocation-writ_a with_o these_o call_v the_o regular_a dignitary_n too_o omnes_fw-la abbates_n priores_fw-la etc._n etc._n tam_fw-la exemptos_fw-la quam_fw-la non_fw-la exemptos_fw-la and_o so_o give_v many_o a_o place_n in_o convocation_n that_o have_v nothing_o to_o do_v by_o virtue_n of_o they_o and_o the_o convocation_n consider_v as_o summon_v by_o the_o convocation-writ_a and_o the_o order_n of_o the_o archbishop_n consequent_a thereupon_o be_v in_o their_o nature_n and_o constitution_n two_o different_a assembly_n and_o which_o by_o no_o mean_n aught_o to_o be_v confound_v together_o the_o great_a question_n be_v what_o the_o nature_n of_o this_o convocation_n as_o distinguish_v from_o the_o parliamentary-convention_n be_v and_o what_o the_o design_n of_o their_o meeting_n original_o be_v have_v these_o convocation_n be_v always_o assemble_v by_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o archbishop_n without_o any_o writ_n from_o the_o king_n as_o oftentimes_o heretofore_o they_o be_v and_o have_v they_o meddle_v only_o with_o ecclesiastical_a matter_n when_o they_o meet_v it_o will_v have_v be_v no_o hard_a matter_n to_o give_v a_o plain_a and_o certain_a answer_n to_o this_o enquiry_n because_o in_o that_o case_n it_o will_v have_v be_v evident_a that_o these_o convocation_n be_v no_o other_o than_o provincial_a synod_n which_o the_o archbishop_n take_v occasion_n to_o assemble_v for_o the_o ease_n of_o the_o clergy_n and_o the_o benefit_n of_o the_o church_n at_o the_o same_o time_n that_o they_o be_v otherwise_o require_v to_o come_v together_o for_o the_o business_n of_o the_o state_n and_o this_o use_v our_o king_n be_v
