a_o plague_n idolatry_n which_o be_v but_o beginning_n and_o the_o very_o admit_v it_o into_o the_o camp_n and_o the_o fornication_n of_o the_o people_n another_o cause_n of_o the_o plague_n you_o shall_v find_v in_o david_n number_v the_o people_n it_o be_v their_o security_n and_o pride_n and_o trust_v to_o themselves_o and_o the_o creature_n for_o sure_o it_o be_v not_o david_n sin_n only_o that_o this_o be_v the_o cause_n why_o so_o many_o be_v sick_a and_o dead_a you_o know_v that_o passage_n in_o the_o book_n of_o chronicle_n concern_v ezekias_n when_o the_o people_n have_v not_o prepare_v themselves_o aright_o as_o they_o ought_v he_o pray_v to_o the_o lord_n and_o it_o be_v say_v the_o lord_n heal_v the_o people_n we_o can_v say_v what_o the_o lord_n heal_v they_o of_o but_o more_o beside_o these_o and_o that_o be_v the_o coldness_n and_o deadness_n of_o their_o heart_n who_o belong_v to_o the_o lord_n from_o who_o he_o expect_v better_a thing_n and_o more_o zeal_n fornication_n and_o every_o man_n labour_n to_o cleanse_v his_o own_o heart_n and_o again_o to_o turn_v to_o the_o lord_n to_o take_v heed_n of_o security_n which_o be_v a_o forerunner_n of_o a_o ruin_n as_o a_o great_a calm_n be_v a_o forerunner_n of_o a_o earthquake_n again_o take_v heed_n of_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n unworthy_o many_o of_o you_o this_o day_n have_v receive_v therefore_o this_o love_n if_o you_o will_v love_v the_o lord_n christ._n remove_v the_o impediment_n what_o be_v those_o they_o be_v two_o strangeness_n and_o uncircumcision_n of_o heart_n or_o worldly_a parent_n and_o nurse_n of_o love_n and_o that_o which_o increase_v it_o beside_o when_o there_o grow_v a_o strangeness_n between_o god_n and_o we_o we_o begin_v not_o to_o know_v the_o lord_n there_o less_o yourself_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v that_o man_n be_v so_o full_a of_o self_n love_n because_o that_o engross_v all_o a_o man_n in_o that_o keep_v all_o to_o himself_o when_o he_o come_v and_o then_o we_o shall_v leave_v the_o lord_n and_o take_v that_o therefore_o i_o say_v it_o be_v require_v that_o we_o love_v the_o lord_n above_o all_o for_o every_o kind_n of_o love_n be_v not_o sufficient_a as_o we_o see_v it_o in_o other_o thing_n that_o love_n that_o will_v serve_v a_o servant_n or_o a_o common_a friend_n will_v not_o serve_v for_o a_o wife_n it_o be_v another_o kind_n of_o love_n that_o love_n that_o will_v serve_v for_o one_o will_v not_o serve_v for_o another_o a_o parent_n a_o king_n and_o a_o master_n as_o they_o have_v different_a relation_n so_o they_o must_v be_v love_n with_o different_a kind_n of_o love_n now_o then_o consider_v what_o love_n it_o be_v that_o belong_v to_o the_o lord_n he_o must_v have_v all_o he_o must_v have_v a_o love_n that_o answer_v he_o otherwise_o if_o thou_o come_v with_o a_o little_a pittance_n of_o love_n and_o say_v lord_n i_o be_o willing_a to_o bestow_v this_o upon_o thou_o the_o lord_n will_v refuse_v it_o he_o you_o have_v now_o if_o pleasure_n and_o sport_n and_o recreation_n shall_v come_v in_o and_o allure_v you_o and_o call_v you_o to_o draw_v you_o away_o to_o spend_v time_n amiss_o now_o they_o come_v in_o competition_n if_o you_o do_v this_o ordinary_o you_o be_v lover_n of_o pleasure_n more_o than_o lover_n of_o god_n so_o again_o god_n have_v command_v thou_o that_o thou_o shall_v not_o commit_v
