good_a of_o the_o kingdom_n which_o prayer_n as_o the_o record_n have_v it_o our_o lord_n the_o king_n most_o gracious_o grant_v but_o with_o this_o protestation_n that_o he_o do_v it_o not_o of_o duty_n nor_o of_o custom_n but_o of_o his_o special_a grace_n and_o favour_n so_o our_o lord_n the_o king_n charge_v the_o clerk_n of_o parliament_n that_o this_o protest_v shall_v be_v enter_v upon_o record_n in_o the_o parliament_n roll._n this_o the_o king_n make_v know_v to_o they_o by_o the_o lord_n say_v and_o his_o secretary_n who_o tell_v they_o that_o our_o lord_n the_o king_n neither_o westminster_n and_o that_o not_o out_o of_o any_o cause_n of_o sickness_n or_o the_o like_a but_o mere_o out_o of_o the_o king_n will_v and_o pleasure_n â—â—_o have_v power_n by_o his_o writ_n to_o assign_v their_o meeting_n when_o and_o where_o he_o please_v nay_o so_o hellish_a be_v the_o malice_n of_o some_o 〈◊〉_d these_o commonwealth_n man_n that_o as_o college_n himself_o confess_v they_o will_v have_v make_v the_o member_n believe_v his_o majesty_n bring_v they_o thither_o to_o be_v murder_v a_o report_n so_o incredible_a and_o so_o barbarous_a that_o as_o the_o wise_a man_n laugh_v at_o it_o so_o every_o loyal_a subject_n abhor_v it_o that_o a_o prince_n who_o great_a error_n be_v his_o clemency_n shall_v draw_v upon_o himself_o the_o guilt_n of_o a_o whole_a nation_n blood_n unnatural_a it_o be_v for_o the_o government_n to_o go_v hop_v upon_o one_o leg_n whereby_o they_o mean_v the_o king_n as_o also_o that_o he_o ought_v to_o summon_v a_o parliament_n whenever_o two_o or_o three_o of_o the_o household_n of_o faith_n desire_v he_o and_o then_o never_o dissolve_v they_o so_o long_o as_o any_o grievance_n be_v depend_v when_o if_o so_o they_o shall_v never_o be_v without_o some_o grievance_n or_o other_o to_o perpetuate_v their_o sit_v how_o small_a soever_o and_o for_o this_o very_a reason_n although_o no_o man_n be_v a_o great_a lover_n of_o parliament_n than_o myself_o that_o expedient_a seem_v to_o i_o of_o dangerous_a consequence_n which_o to_o fetter_v the_o duke_n of_o york_n enable_v the_o parliament_n then_o in_o be_v to_o convene_v and_o fit_v six_o month_n after_o this_o king_n death_n since_o if_o they_o have_v not_o power_n to_o act_v as_o a_o parliament_n they_o can_v do_v we_o no_o good_a and_o if_o they_o have_v then_o by_o virtue_n of_o the_o same_o power_n wherewith_o they_o pass_v other_o act_n they_o may_v also_o pass_v a_o act_n to_o perpetuate_v themselves_o for_o frequent_a and_o not_o long_a parliament_n must_v render_v this_o nation_n prosperous_a old_a member_n be_v too_o apt_a to_o hunt_v soul_n after_o they_o have_v run_v many_o chase_n three_o and_o last_o tacit._n these_o malcontent_n encourage_v the_o most_o heinous_a criminal_n and_o those_o who_o have_v more_o personal_o and_o particular_o offend_v his_o majesty_n to_o petition_v the_o house_n of_o commons_o thereby_o think_v either_o to_o force_v
