be_v ready_a to_o give_v extract_n to_o the_o liege_n in_o their_o particular_a affair_n upon_o their_o reasonable_a charge_n and_o expense_n and_o both_o these_o under_o the_o pain_n of_o deprivation_n of_o the_o party_n contraveen_v any_o of_o the_o say_n member_n of_o the_o act_n or_o to_o be_v otherways_o more_o mild_o or_o severe_o punish_v as_o the_o parliament_n shall_v find_v the_o fault_n to_o demerit_n act_n xx._n discharge_v all_o proxy_n to_o be_v admit_v in_o parliament_n and_o that_o no_o foreign_a nobleman_n shall_v have_v place_n and_o voice_n in_o parliament_n unless_o they_o have_v ten_o thousand_o merke_n of_o land_n rent_n within_o the_o kingdom_n the_o estate_n of_o parliament_n present_o convene_v by_o his_o majesty_n special_a authority_n consider_v how_o far_o the_o dignity_n honour_n and_o authority_n of_o the_o high_a and_o supreme_a court_n of_o parliament_n which_o be_v the_o great_a council_n of_o this_o kingdom_n have_v be_v and_o be_v yet_o likely_a to_o be_v far_o diminish_v &_o weaken_v by_o two_o reason_n one_o be_v the_o giving_z of_o power_n of_o voice_n and_o reason_n to_o proxy_n and_o procurator_n in_o absence_n of_o such_o as_o be_v all_o be_v much_o tie_v to_o give_v their_o personal_a judgement_n as_o their_o personal_a presence_n and_o have_v all_o these_o honour_n ride_v sit_v reason_v and_o voice_n in_o parliament_n only_o onfer_v on_o they_o and_o their_o successor_n personal_o so_o that_o it_o be_v as_o absurd_a that_o they_o shall_v give_v power_n to_o any_o to_o reason_n or_o voice_n for_o they_o as_o to_o give_v any_o power_n to_o ride_v and_o to_o sit_v in_o their_o place_n of_o honour_n and_o dignity_n and_o it_o may_v tend_v to_o the_o weaken_n and_o utter_a overthrow_n of_o parliament_n for_o thus_o the_o absence_n of_o the_o most_o part_n of_o the_o best_a qualify_v and_o experience_v may_v be_v supply_v by_o proxy_n grant_v to_o a_o few_o and_o of_o less_o ability_n the_o other_o be_v the_o grant_n to_o stranger_n have_v title_n of_o honour_n confer_v on_o they_o without_o any_o other_o interest_n in_o this_o kingdom_n power_n of_o sit_v ride_a reason_v consult_v and_o voice_n in_o this_o court_n of_o parliament_n whereas_o none_o shall_v be_v member_n of_o this_o court_n but_o such_o as_o have_v interest_n by_o birth_n blood_n or_o inheritance_n within_o this_o kingdom_n and_o so_o may_v be_v sensible_a of_o the_o prejudice_n or_o advantage_n follow_v the_o law_n and_o constitution_n thereof_o therefore_o the_o say_n estate_n statute_n &_o ordain_v that_o hereafter_o all_o nobleman_n viz._n duke_n marquess_n earl_n viscount_n and_o lord_n shall_v give_v their_o personal_a presence_n in_o all_o parliament_n &_o so_o be_v personal_o present_a reason_n and_o advise_v &_o voice_n and_o no_o way_n by_o proxy_n or_o procurator_n but_o discharge_v any_o such_o procurator_n and_o commission_n in_o all_o time_n come_v and_o that_o no_o person_n shall_v hereafter_o
