give_v less_o according_a to_o the_o old_a custom_n of_o the_o fe_n chap._n iii_o the_o wardship_n of_o a_o heir_n within_o age_n the_o heir_n a_o knight_n but_o if_o the_o heir_n of_o any_o such_o be_v within_o age_n his_o lord_n shall_v not_o have_v the_o ward_n of_o he_o nor_o of_o his_o land_n before_o that_o he_o have_v take_v of_o he_o homage_n 2._o and_o after_o that_o such_o a_o heir_n have_v be_v in_o ward_n when_o he_o be_v come_v to_o full_a age_n that_o be_v to_o say_v to_o the_o age_n of_o one_o and_o twenty_o year_n he_o shall_v have_v his_o inheritance_n without_o relief_n and_o without_o time_n so_o that_o if_o such_o a_o heir_n be_v within_o age_n be_v make_v knight_n yet_o nevertheless_o his_o land_n shall_v remain_v in_o the_o keep_n of_o his_o lord_n unto_o the_o shall_v be_v commit_v to_o two_o lawful_a and_o discreet_a man_n of_o that_o fee_n which_o shall_v answer_v unto_o we_o for_o the_o issue_n of_o the_o same_o land_n or_o unto_o he_o who_o we_o will_v assign_v 4._o and_o if_o we_o give_v or_o sell_v to_o any_o man_n the_o custody_n of_o any_o such_o land_n and_o he_o therein_o do_v make_v destruction_n or_o waste_n he_o shall_v lose_v the_o same_o custody_n and_o it_o shall_v be_v assign_v to_o two_o lawful_a and_o discreet_a man_n of_o that_o fee_n which_o also_o in_o like_a manner_n shall_v be_v answerable_a to_o we_o as_o afore_o be_v say_v chap._n v._n guardian_n shall_v maintain_v the_o inheritance_n of_o their_o ward_n and_o of_o bishopric_n the_o keeper_n so_o long_o as_o he_o have_v the_o custody_n of_o the_o land_n of_o such_o a_o heir_n shall_v keep_v up_o the_o house_n park_n warrens_n pond_n mill_n and_o other_o thing_n pertain_v to_o the_o same_o land_n with_o the_o issue_n of_o the_o say_a land_n and_o he_o shall_v deliver_v to_o the_o heir_n when_o he_o come_v to_o his_o full_a age_n all_o his_o land_n store_v with_o plough_n and_o all_o other_o thing_n at_o the_o least_o as_o he_o receive_v it_o all_o these_o thing_n shall_v be_v observe_v in_o the_o custody_n of_o archbishopric_n bishopric_n abbey_n priory_n church_n and_o dignity_n vacant_a which_o appertain_v to_o we_o except_o this_o that_o such_o custody_n shall_v not_o be_v sell_v chap._n vi_o heir_n shall_v be_v marry_v without_o disparagement_n heir_n shall_v be_v marry_v without_o disparagement_n chap._n vii_o a_o widow_n shall_v have_v her_o marriage_n inheritance_n and_o quarentine_n the_o king_n widow_n a_o widow_n after_o the_o death_n of_o her_o husband_n incontinent_a and_o without_o any_o difficulty_n shall_v have_v her_o marriage_n and_o her_o inheritance_n 2._o and_o shall_v give_v nothing_o for_o her_o dower_n her_o marriage_n or_o her_o inheritance_n which_o her_o husband_n and_o she_o hold_v the_o day_n of_o the_o death_n of_o her_o husband_n 3._o and_o she_o shall_v tarry_v in_o the_o chief_a house_n of_o her_o husband_n by_o forty_o day_n after_o the_o death_n of_o her_o husband_n within_o which_o day_n her_o dower_n shall_v be_v assign_v she_o if_o it_o be_v not_o assign_v she_o before_o or_o that_o the_o house_n be_v a_o castle_n 4._o and_o if_o she_o depart_v from_o the_o castle_n than_o a_o competent_a
