declare_v that_o the_o earl_n of_o essex_n be_v prisoner_n in_o the_o tower_n the_o king_n and_o duke_n come_v into_o the_o tower_n to_o see_v the_o tower_n of_o which_o the_o earl_n have_v notice_n he_o be_v immediate_o afraid_a the_o king_n will_v have_v come_v up_o into_o his_o chamber_n and_o see_v he_o etc._n etc._n now_o i_o will_v willing_o know_v who_o beside_o the_o most_o intimate_o know_v in_o this_o matter_n can_v give_v information_n two_o day_n viz._n the_o wednesday_n morning_n at_o andover_n before_o my_o lord_n death_n that_o the_o earl_n of_o essex_n will_v cut_v his_o to_o all_o but_o to_o the_o man_n of_o secrecy_n in_o this_o murder_n because_o their_o be_v there_o together_o be_v so_o very_o rare_a that_o it_o happen_v but_o once_o in_o twenty_o five_o year_n but_o of_o this_o i_o have_v already_o speak_v and_o also_o how_o this_o so_o particular_a a_o report_n as_o to_o the_o manner_n place_n and_o reason_n become_v thus_o report_v in_o the_o country_n so_o long_o before_o my_o lord_n death_n l._n be_v you_o ever_o credible_o tell_v that_o his_o lordship_n say_v he_o be_v resolve_v to_o destroy_v himself_o t._n no_o i_o never_o hear_v that_o credible_o report_v l._n or_o which_o be_v more_o plain_a and_o particular_a do_v his_o lordship_n before_o his_o imprisonment_n say_v that_o he_o be_v resolve_v to_o cut_v his_o throat_n in_o the_o tower_n when_o the_o king_n and_o duke_n shall_v come_v into_o the_o tower_n to_o see_v he_o which_o his_o guilt_n and_o shame_n can_v not_o bear_v the_o thought_n of_o g._n certain_o my_o lord_n expect_v than_o it_o have_v be_v possible_a that_o this_o and_o those_o several_a report_n prove_v by_o eight_o witness_n more_o far_o distant_a from_o and_o altogether_o stranger_n to_o each_o other_o all_o centre_v in_o the_o same_o manner_n how_o and_o the_o place_n where_o may_v have_v arisen_a from_o this_o resolution_n of_o his_o lordship_n so_o particular_o declare_v t._n it_o may_v be_v my_o lord_n have_v hear_v the_o papist_n have_v resolve_v to_o cut_v his_o throat_n be_v afraid_a they_o will_v the_o more_o to_o torment_v he_o not_o do_v it_o like_o themselves_o but_o botch_o it_o effectual_o for_o though_o the_o blade_n of_o the_o razor_n without_o the_o hand_n be_v not_o two_o inch_n and_o a_o half_a he_o make_v a_o wound_n about_o three_o inch_n and_o half_a deep_a and_o therein_o do_v what_o by_o other_o be_v mathematical_o impossible_a to_o be_v do_v and_o whereas_o before_o that_o accident_n it_o be_v the_o opinion_n of_o doctor_n and_o surgeon_n that_o none_o can_v cut_v through_o both_o jugular_a artery_n to_o the_o neckbone_n on_o both_o side_n the_o neck_n his_o lordship_n be_v resolve_v to_o give_v the_o world_n demonstration_n of_o their_o mistake_n and_o after_o all_o his_o lordship_n stop_v the_o orifice_n from_o give_v issue_n to_o such_o a_o quantity_n of_o blood_n and_o spirit_n as_o will_v natural_o have_v instant_o kill_v he_o and_o out_o of_o malice_n to_o the_o live_n that_o other_o may_v be_v charge_v with_o his_o death_n throw_v the_o razor_n out_o of_o the_o window_n and_o then_o send_v the_o maid_n down_o for_o it_o which_o have_v receive_v from_o she_o he_o retire_v to_o his_o closet_n lock_v himself_o in_o and_o quiet_o lay_v himself_o down_o and_o the_o razor_n by_o he_o and_o then_o give_v free_a passage_n to_o that_o blood_n and_o those_o spirit_n which_o he_o thus_o miraculous_o keep_v so_o long_o in_o g._n but_o to_o be_v serious_a for_o this_o be_v a_o case_n of_o grave_n yea_o very_o doleful_a consideration_n do_v you_o ever_o hear_v all_o those_o reason_n the_o bishop_n then_o give_v t._n no_o but_o i_o can_v wish_v i_o have_v only_o this_o further_a reason_n i_o think_v be_v give_v viz._n what_o the_o steward_n say_v concern_v my_o lord_n desire_v he_o to_o sit_v down_o and_o drink_v a_o glass_n of_o wine_n with_o he_o the_o night_n before_o his_o death_n l._n that_o i_o do_v total_o disbelieve_v for_o the_o reason_n before_o mention_v t._n but_o whereas_o you_o say_v mr._n h._n do_v second_v my_o lord_n bishop_n i_o do_v assure_v you_o i_o do_v hear_v that_o ingenious_a gentleman_n declare_v the_o contrary_a and_o as_o a_o gentleman_n tell_v i_o desire_v one_o to_o vindicate_v he_o from_o that_o report_n which_o he_o do_v total_o deny_v g._n what_o be_v then_o say_v by_o the_o lord_n of_o the_o commit_v after_o my_o lord_n bishop_n have_v give_v the_o countess_n reason_n of_o her_o silence_n t._n i_o have_v be_v tell_v how_o true_a it_o be_v i_o can_v say_v that_o the_o right_n honourable_a the_o earl_n of_o d._n speak_v to_o the_o countess_n to_o this_o effect_n madam_n the_o belief_n or_o disbelief_n of_o a_o fact_n neither_o destroy_v the_o of_o many_o witness_n in_o this_o case_n and_o unless_o many_o of_o these_o be_v villanous_o perjure_v which_o as_o yet_o we_o have_v no_o reason_n to_o believe_v my_o lord_n must_v have_v be_v most_o barbarous_o murder_v g._n have_v the_o countess_n or_o the_o bishop_n before_o this_o see_v what_o be_v swear_v t._n i_o suppose_v neither_o of_o these_o have_v either_o see_v or_o be_v inform_v what_o be_v depose_v to_o prove_v this_o murder_n neither_o can_v they_o then_o have_v hear_v what_o have_v in_o this_o case_n be_v depose_v because_o many_o deposition_n have_v be_v since_o take_v before_o the_o lord_n and_z since_o their_o lordship_n committee_n be_v dissolve_v before_o several_a justice_n of_o the_o peace_n g._n i_o can_v but_o believe_v that_o if_o the_o countess_n once_o know_v what_o you_o have_v now_o at_o large_a relate_v her_o opinion_n will_v soon_o be_v change_v and_o her_o zeal_n in_o this_o prosecution_n will_v be_v as_o great_a as_o can_v be_v expect_v from_o a_o lady_n of_o her_o honour_n and_o quality_n and_o as_o for_o my_o lord_n bishop_n i_o be_o sure_a none_o will_v be_v more_o easy_o convince_v upon_o such_o ground_n as_o these_o neither_o will_v
