give_v the_o gift_a man_n a_o superiority_n over_o the_o officer_n for_o great_a be_v he_o that_o sit_v at_o the_o table_n and_o may_v choose_v whether_o he_o will_v serve_v or_o no_o than_o he_o who_o serve_v and_o must_v serve_v for_o our_o brethren_n other_a instance_n viz._n that_o bailiff_n in_o a_o corporation_n may_v be_v useful_a though_o the_o common_a council_n may_v act_v with_o they_o it_o concern_v not_o the_o present_a case_n it_o may_v have_v something_o in_o it_o to_o prove_v that_o although_o the_o member_n of_o the_o church_n have_v a_o joint_a power_n with_o the_o officer_n of_o the_o church_n as_o to_o the_o execute_v some_o act_n of_o censure_n yet_o there_o be_v a_o need_n of_o they_o as_o to_o other_o act_n and_o that_o be_v all_o it_o will_v do_v too_o in_o that_o case_n but_o here_o it_o signify_v nothing_o because_o preach_v be_v a_o act_n which_o may_v be_v do_v by_o a_o single_a person_n and_o we_o argue_v that_o there_o be_v no_o need_n of_o a_o special_a order_n of_o single_a person_n to_o be_v in_o commission_n for_o a_o work_n for_o which_o all_o be_v commission_v and_o in_o which_o other_o may_v act_v 3._o it_o be_v true_a that_o our_o brethren_n say_v we_o do_v allow_v such_o a_o office_n as_o we_o say_v have_v no_o act_n peculiar_a to_o it_o viz._n that_o of_o rule_v elder_n their_o work_n be_v rule_n and_o in_o that_o work_n they_o be_v joint_a commissioner_n with_o the_o teach_v elder_n but_o the_o question_n be_v whether_o we_o allow_v such_o as_o be_v not_o officer_n to_o act_v in_o it_o we_o say_v the_o
