james_n behead_v s._n peter_n crucify_v the_o torment_n and_o death_n of_o innumerable_a martyr_n the_o manifold_a affliction_n of_o the_o holy_a and_o elect_a people_n of_o god_n i_o can_v but_o consider_v and_o know_v assure_o that_o very_a great_a and_o many_o shall_v be_v the_o torment_n of_o the_o wicked_a in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v since_o god_n suffer_v those_o who_o he_o dear_o love_v to_o be_v so_o much_o afflict_v in_o this_o life_n the_o pain_n of_o hell_n in_o the_o extent_n of_o they_o do_v herein_o differ_v from_o all_o present_a bodily_a pain_n that_o these_o be_v partial_a only_o in_o some_o particular_a part_n joint_n and_o member_n of_o the_o body_n whilst_o other_o part_n be_v free_a from_o pain_n but_o in_o hell_n the_o whole_a man_n in_o all_o the_o sense_n internal_a and_o external_a in_o all_o the_o part_n of_o his_o body_n and_o power_n of_o his_o soul_n yea_o the_o most_o spiritual_a faculty_n shall_v be_v torment_v with_o fire_n and_o brimstone_n rage_n and_o despite_n grief_n and_o anguish_n misery_n and_o malediction_n for_o the_o pain_n of_o hell_n be_v a_o concourse_n of_o all_o kind_n of_o pain_n of_o all_o at_o the_o same_o time_n and_o of_o all_o of_o they_o for_o ever_o the_o taste_n shall_v be_v punish_v with_o bitterness_n the_o appetite_n with_o hunger_n and_o the_o tongue_n with_o thirst_n the_o sight_n with_o horror_n the_o hear_v with_o astonishment_n the_o smell_n with_o stench_n the_o heart_n with_o anguish_n the_o imagination_n with_o fear_n the_o reason_n with_o madness_n the_o judgement_n with_o confusion_n and_o in_o the_o very_a bowel_n fire_v unquenchable_a and_o this_o be_v most_o just_a that_o as_o the_o wicked_a have_v employ_v all_o the_o power_n and_o part_n both_o of_o soul_n and_o body_n as_o weapon_n of_o unrighteousness_n unto_o sin_n so_o shall_v their_o punishment_n be_v in_o all_o their_o sense_n member_n faculty_n that_o as_o each_o have_v transgress_v by_o sinful_a pleasure_n and_o inordinate_a delight_n so_o each_o shall_v have_v its_o peculiar_a afflict_a torment_n there_o be_v no_o sin_n unrepented_a in_o this_o life_n but_o shall_v have_v its_o proper_a peculiar_a torment_n in_o hell_n there_o the_o proud_a shall_v be_v fill_v with_o confusion_n the_o slothful_a shall_v be_v prick_v forward_o with_o burn_a goad_n the_o covetous_a shall_v be_v pinch_v with_o penury_n the_o glutton_n and_o the_o drunkard_n shall_v be_v pine_v with_o a_o perpetual_a hunger_n and_o thirst_n the_o envious_a shall_v howl_v like_o mad_a dog_n for_o rage_n and_o grief_n the_o luxurious_a and_o lover_n of_o pleasure_n more_o than_o lover_n of_o god_n shall_v wallow_v in_o burn_a pitch_n and_o stink_a brimstone_n and_o in_o a_o word_n in_o whatsoever_o thing_n a_o man_n have_v in_o this_o life_n offend_v in_o the_o same_o shall_v he_o be_v torment_v if_o not_o by_o a_o true_a and_o timely_a repentance_n prevent_v and_o this_o the_o miserable_a dives_n feel_v when_o he_o want_v a_o drop_n of_o cold_a water_n to_o cool_v his_o tongue_n in_o hell_n who_o whilst_o upon_o earth_n have_v fare_v sumptuous_o every_o day_n it_o be_v undoubted_o true_a that_o all_o person_n condemn_v to_o the_o flame_n of_o the_o nether_a hell_n be_v not_o equal_o torment_v therein_o for_o though_o the_o fire_n of_o hell_n be_v one_o and_o the_o same_o yet_o it_o torment_v not_o all_o after_o the_o same_o manner_n nor_o in_o the_o same_o degree_n of_o torture_n but_o every_o man_n shall_v therein_o more_o or_o less_o feel_v the_o smart_n of_o its_o fury_n as_o by_o the_o nature_n quality_n and_o frequency_n of_o his_o sin_n he_o have_v less_o or_o more_o deserve_v the_o same_o 18.25_o gen._n 18.25_o for_o shall_v not_o the_o judge_n of_o all_o the_o world_n do_v
