god_n to_o wait_v upon_o he_o in_o all_o his_o public_a ordinance_n not_o forsake_v the_o assemble_v ourselves_o together_o and_o that_o so_o much_o the_o more_o as_o you_o see_v the_o day_n approaching_n as_o also_o in_o all_o private_a duty_n to_o serve_v he_o with_o our_o utmost_a power_n to_o be_v a_o do_v of_o righteousness_n and_o good_a work_v alm_n mercy_n and_o compassion_n to_o the_o very_a utmost_a of_o our_o ability_n there_o be_v indeed_o a_o bitterness_n in_o death_n as_o agag_n true_o call_v it_o for_o my_o part_n i_o be_o not_o ashamed_a to_o own_o that_o i_o do_v vehement_o and_o very_o much_o fear_v it_o this_o make_v i_o to_o do_v sundry_a thing_n pertain_v to_o god_n and_o religion_n which_o i_o shall_v not_o do_v otherwise_o if_o hereby_o i_o may_v somewhat_o take_v off_o and_o lessen_v from_o this_o bitterness_n of_o death_n if_o hereby_o i_o may_v store_v up_o to_o myself_o comfort_n against_o my_o die_a day_n for_o this_o cause_n i_o be_o not_o ashamed_a of_o the_o gospel_n of_o christ_n nor_o yet_o of_o preach_v it_o in_o what_o be_v call_v a_o foolish_a and_o contemptible_a manner_n as_o i_o make_v it_o know_v unto_o people_n in_o its_o simplicity_n and_o pureness_n for_o i_o believe_v that_o god_n have_v choose_v the_o foolish_a thing_n of_o the_o world_n and_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v despise_v 1_o cor._n 1._o 27_o 28._o i_o have_v already_o sufficient_o experience_v the_o same_o and_o i_o have_v be_v give_v to_o understand_v further_o that_o this_o kind_n of_o do_v have_v be_v and_o will_v be_v a_o occasion_n of_o loss_n as_o to_o worldly_a good_n for_o more_o may_v be_v allot_v unto_o i_o if_o i_o will_v leave_v off_o the_o preach_a and_o publish_v the_o truth_n of_o the_o most_o high_a god_n but_o when_o i_o ponder_v it_o in_o my_o mind_n this_o same_o hope_n of_o store_v up_o to_o myself_o comfort_n against_o my_o die_a day_n do_v with_o i_o weigh_v down_o all_o worldly_a consideration_n or_o temptation_n and_o i_o trust_v in_o the_o everliving_a god_n that_o this_o shall_v be_v my_o guide_n unto_o my_o die_a day_n that_o i_o may_v give_v up_o a_o account_n of_o the_o ministry_n which_o i_o have_v receive_v with_o joy_n and_o not_o with_o grief_n for_o this_o will_v be_v unprofitable_a for_o you_o the_o searcher_n of_o all_o that_o be_v in_o all_o heart_n know_v that_o the_o very_a reason_n why_o i_o do_v desire_v a_o full_a and_o great_a assembly_n of_o hearer_n and_o that_o my_o book_n and_o write_n may_v have_v a_o more_o universal_a reception_n be_v chief_o that_o i_o may_v let_v down_o my_o net_n for_o a_o great_a draught_n of_o fish_n for_o i_o know_v and_o believe_v that_o the_o more_o soul_n shall_v be_v convert_v edify_v or_o build_v up_o in_o their_o holy_a faith_n by_o my_o ministry_n it_o will_v tend_v so_o much_o the_o more_o to_o their_o own_o and_o also_o my_o comfort_n and_o rejoice_v and_o crown_n in_o the_o last_o day_n but_o however_o whether_o more_a or_o few_o will_v receive_v it_o i_o shall_v endeavour_v by_o the_o divine_a grace_n to_o approve_v myself_o faithful_a in_o the_o ministry_n as_o moses_n be_v faithful_a in_o all_o his_o house_n i_o people_n the_o righteous_a and_o the_o wise_a will_v taste_v some_o little_a bitterness_n therein_o wherewith_o also_o sweetness_n will_v be_v intermingle_v marvel_v not_o at_o this_o for_o i_o know_v a_o man_n to_o who_o sweetness_n and_o a_o kind_n of_o perfume_n have_v arise_v even_o from_o the_o apprehension_n of_o death_n but_o it_o will_v be_v only_a mixture_n wherein_o the_o sour_a and_o bitter_a part_n will_v make_v the_o great_a ingredient_n and_o dregs_o to_o the_o wicked_a of_o the_o earth_n for_o the_o sting_n of_o death_n be_v sin_n which_o sting_n give_v the_o pain_n or_o smart_n and_o it_o sting_v more_o or_o less_o according_a as_o sin_n be_v more_o or_o less_o in_o the_o person_n who_o be_v to_o undergo_v it_o so_o that_o it_o must_v be_v the_o wise_a and_o more_o excellent_a way_n to_o stand_v in_o awe_n and_o sin_n not_o and_o to_o cease_v from_o our_o own_o work_n by_o which_o i_o mean_v the_o cease_n from_o those_o our_o work_n which_o do_v proceed_v and_o arise_v from_o the_o worldly_a fleshly_a and_o corrupt_a nature_n for_o all_o this_o be_v our_o own_o the_o duty_n and_o obligation_n hereof_o appear_v from_o what_o be_v write_v there_o remain_v therefore_o a_o rest_n to_o the_o people_n of_o god_n for_o he_o that_o be_v enter_v into_o his_o rest_n have_v cease_v from_o his_o own_o work_n
