the_o flame_n of_o hell_n and_o torment_n of_o hell_n due_a to_o sin_n perhaps_o i_o may_v scare_v some_o more_o that_o way_n but_o for_o those_o that_o have_v any_o understanding_n and_o true_o know_v the_o excellency_n of_o man_n their_o heart_n will_v more_o rise_v upon_o the_o open_n of_o this_o than_o if_o i_o shall_v spend_v many_o sermon_n to_o open_v the_o torment_n of_o hell_n to_o noble_a nature_n than_o so_o god_n have_v make_v the_o mean_a and_o poor_a in_o this_o congregation_n god_n have_v make_v you_o of_o so_o noble_a a_o nature_n that_o you_o may_v come_v to_o converse_v with_o the_o infinite_a glorious_a first-being_a of_o all_o thing_n as_o we_o know_v the_o excellency_n of_o man_n that_o which_o put_v a_o difference_n between_o man_n and_o man_n be_v this_o that_o this_o man_n that_o live_v in_o a_o mean_a condition_n their_o meanness_n consist_v in_o this_o that_o they_o spend_v all_o their_o day_n in_o converse_n with_o bruit_n beast_n and_o turn_v the_o clod_n of_o the_o earth_n but_o noble_a and_o great_a man_n be_v busy_v in_o state_n affair_n they_o be_v raise_v high_a because_o they_o converse_v with_o prince_n and_o great_a affair_n of_o state_n than_o to_o eat_v and_o drink_v and_o play_v and_o be_v filthy_a and_o have_v nothing_o but_o that_o which_o the_o beast_n have_v but_o other_o to_o who_o god_n have_v reveal_v himself_o and_o have_v make_v they_o of_o such_o a_o noble_a nature_n that_o when_o other_o be_v in_o base_a act_n of_o uncleanness_n that_o know_v no_o other_o way_n of_o rejoice_v in_o time_n of_o joy_n but_o laugh_v and_o eat_v and_o drink_v and_o filthiness_n but_o other_o can_v get_v alone_o and_o there_o contemplate_v of_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o great_a god_n and_o their_o soul_n be_v open_v to_o god_n and_o converse_v with_o god_n hence_o wicked_a and_o ungodly_a man_n can_v converse_v with_o god_n because_o they_o live_v not_o the_o same_o life_n of_o god_n when_o you_o talk_v of_o converse_v with_o god_n it_o be_v a_o riddle_n to_o many_o man_n why_o because_o they_o be_v stranger_n to_o the_o life_n of_o god_n they_o have_v nothing_o of_o the_o life_n of_o god_n in_o they_o but_o it_o be_v strange_a to_o they_o therefore_o they_o can_v converse_v with_o god_n but_o now_o that_o which_o strike_v at_o this_o life_n and_o be_v the_o death_n of_o the_o soul_n be_v sin_n for_o sin_n be_v child_n and_o to_o see_v his_o life_n in_o his_o child_n that_o come_v from_o he_o to_o see_v it_o able_a to_o work_v as_o he_o work_v as_o suppose_v any_o artificer_n or_o one_o skill_v in_o navigation_n suppose_v he_o see_v a_o picture_n draw_v of_o navigation_n he_o take_v delight_n in_o that_o because_o there_o be_v something_o of_o himself_o in_o it_o but_o now_o suppose_v he_o have_v a_o child_n and_o he_o put_v skill_n into_o he_o and_o he_o see_v he_o work_v as_o he_o work_v and_o discourse_n about_o naval_a affair_n as_o he_o discourse_v this_o be_v wonderful_o delightful_a to_o he_o so_o when_o god_n shall_v see_v the_o same_o life_n in_o his_o creature_n that_o be_v in_o himself_o that_o he_o work_v and_o will_n as_o he_o do_v this_o take_v the_o very_a heart_n of_o god_n and_o this_o show_v the_o excellency_n of_o grace_n but_o sin_n be_v that_o which_o strike_v at_o this_o life_n of_o
and_o lay_v the_o burden_n of_o it_o upon_o your_o spirit_n then_o to_o let_v you_o sink_v under_o the_o burden_n of_o it_o for_o god_n to_o behold_v you_o swelter_a under_o the_o burden_n of_o it_o without_o pity_n and_o compassion_n and_o your_o own_o conscience_n will_v be_v ready_a to_o tell_v you_o so_o yea_o now_o the_o weight_n of_o sin_n be_v upon_o i_o but_o be_v force_v whether_o i_o will_v or_o no_o now_o god_n may_v just_o let_v it_o lie_v this_o be_v a_o sad_a and_o a_o sink_a thought_n and_o if_o any_o thing_n let_v sin_n lie_v upon_o the_o soul_n that_o it_o shall_v never_o wretch_n now_o i_o cry_v to_o god_n for_o mercy_n but_o do_v i_o not_o remember_v such_o a_o time_n be_v there_o not_o a_o loud_a cry_n in_o my_o ear_n and_o conscience_n as_o from_o god_n that_o i_o shall_v stop_v in_o my_o sinful_a way_n and_o course_n and_o be_v not_o i_o then_o charge_v as_o in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n and_o as_o ever_o i_o expect_v god_n shall_v hear_v my_o cry_n in_o such_o a_o time_n that_o i_o shall_v hear_v his_o voice_n oh_o it_o will_v be_v dreadful_a for_o you_o to_o hear_v such_o a_o voice_n as_o this_o because_o you_o will_v not_o hear_v i_o therefore_o i_o will_v not_o hear_v you_o therefore_o behold_v i_o cry_v again_o in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n stop_v stop_v turn_v thou_o oh_o sinful_a soul_n alas_o whether_o be_v thou_o go_v from_o god_n from_o comfort_n from_o life_n from_o happiness_n from_o all_o good_a whatsoever_o thou_o be_v go_v i_o call_v heaven_n and_o earth_n to_o record_v that_o these_o thing_n that_o i_o have_v deliver_v to_o scald_a lead_n in_o thy_o conscience_n every_o truth_n thou_o have_v hear_v and_o every_o chapter_n thou_o have_v read_v concern_v the_o evil_a of_o sin_n i_o say_v if_o yet_o thou_o go_v on_o in_o any_o one_o know_a way_n of_o sin_n it_o will_v one_o day_n be_v as_o scald_a lead_n in_o thy_o conscience_n the_o drop_v of_o scald_a lead_n in_o the_o eye_n of_o a_o man_n will_v not_o be_v more_o send_v i_o among_o you_o by_o his_o providence_n only_o to_o aggravate_v any_o of_o your_o condemnation_n god_n forbid_v there_o shall_v be_v this_o errent_fw-la send_v among_o you_o that_o any_o of_o his_o messenger_n shall_v be_v send_v for_o this_o end_n to_o aggravate_v your_o condemnation_n this_o be_v that_o which_o be_v the_o prayer_n of_o my_o soul_n that_o this_o may_v not_o be_v the_o errent_fw-la i_o be_o send_v for_o if_o possible_a not_o to_o seal_v the_o condemnation_n of_o any_o one_o soul_n but_o this_o i_o know_v except_o there_o be_v great_a reformation_n among_o many_o certain_o the_o very_a errand_n god_n intend_v in_o the_o conclusion_n though_o i_o do_v not_o say_v that_o be_v the_o primarie_n and_o first_o end_n but_o it_o be_v that_o which_o will_v prove_v so_o in_o the_o conclusion_n through_o the_o stubbornness_n of_o the_o heart_n of_o sinner_n that_o will_v prove_v the_o aggravation_n of_o their_o condemnation_n wherefore_o yet_o let_v i_o labour_v with_o your_o soul_n who_o know_v whether_o any_o of_o you_o shall_v hear_v i_o preach_v any_o one_o sermon_n more_o whether_o ever_o god_n will_v call_v after_o you_o any_o more_o to_o stop_v or_o turn_v in_o the_o way_n of_o sin_n whether_o ever_o you_o shall_v hear_v the_o word_n more_o perhaps_o god_n will_v sear_v your_o conscience_n and_o say_v to_o he_o that_o be_v filthy_a let_v he_o be_v filthy_a god_n now_o speak_v to_o you_o and_o cry_v after_o you_o if_o you_o harden_v your_o heart_n now_o it_o be_v more_o than_o angel_n or_o man_n know_v whether_o ever_o you_o will_v have_v good_a in_o it_o that_o by_o it_o all_o these_o truth_n be_v over_o balance_v certain_o there_o be_v no_o such_o good_a in_o the_o world_n if_o all_o creature_n in_o the_o world_n shall_v join_v together_o to_o give_v some_o comfort_n to_o balance_v these_o truth_n deliver_v concern_v the_o evil_a of_o sin_n all_o the_o creature_n in_o heaven_n and_o earth_n can_v not_o give_v such_o thing_n as_o will_v balance_v it_o therefore_o certain_o
of_o the_o law_n when_o it_o be_v first_o give_v that_o be_v only_o to_o set_v forth_o thus_o much_o to_o we_o that_o if_o the_o law_n that_o god_n give_v be_v break_v that_o then_o god_n will_v be_v very_o dreadful_a to_o those_o that_o break_v it_o therefore_o he_o give_v it_o at_o first_o in_o such_o a_o dreadful_a manner_n it_o may_v be_v many_o bold_a presumptuous_a sinner_n think_v it_o nothing_o to_o break_v the_o law_n of_o the_o infinite_a eternal_a god_n but_o in_o that_o god_n give_v the_o law_n in_o such_o a_o dreadful_a manner_n as_o you_o may_v read_v in_o the_o 19_o of_o the_o law_n but_o especial_o consider_v that_o dreadful_a curse_n annex_v to_o the_o law_n curse_v be_v every_o one_o that_o abide_v not_o in_o every_o thing_n that_o be_v write_v in_o the_o law_n to_o do_v that_o which_o the_o law_n of_o god_n pronounce_v to_o be_v do_v a_o curse_n to_o every_o one_o that_o do_v any_o thing_n at_o any_o time_n that_o shall_v break_v it_o that_o there_o shall_v be_v such_o a_o dreadful_a curse_n annex_v this_o manifest_v the_o sore_a displeasure_n of_o god_n against_o sin_n four_o a_o four_o manifestation_n of_o the_o sore_a displeasure_n of_o god_n against_o sin_n all_o this_o but_o to_o show_v you_o further_o how_o sin_n be_v a_o great_a evil_n than_o affliction_n the_o manifestation_n i_o say_v of_o god_n displeasure_n against_o sin_n be_v see_v in_o that_o we_o find_v in_o god_n word_n god_n have_v so_o severe_o punish_v some_o sin_n that_o do_v appear_v to_o we_o to_o be_v very_o small_a little_a sin_n and_o yet_o god_n have_v be_v exceed_o severe_a against_o those_o sin_n which_o appear_v to_o we_o to_o be_v exceed_o small_a to_o instance_n in_o three_o 1_o in_o 1_o sam._n 6._o 19_o there_o you_o have_v this_o example_n that_o the_o man_n of_o beth-shâ—â—esh_a when_o the_o ark_n come_v to_o they_o they_o do_v but_o look_v into_o the_o ark_n out_o of_o curiosity_n for_o aught_o we_o know_v for_o no_o other_o end_n but_o mere_o out_o of_o curiosity_n now_o because_o the_o ark_n be_v a_o holy_a thing_n and_o none_o but_o the_o priest_n of_o god_n be_v to_o meddle_v with_o it_o god_n do_v present_o at_o a_o instant_n have_v good_a meaning_n and_o good_a intention_n yet_o not_o do_v according_o to_o the_o law_n the_o least_o breach_n of_o the_o law_n though_o we_o have_v a_o good_a meaning_n do_v provoke_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o god_n when_o he_o please_v let_v out_o this_o his_o wrath_n 3_o a_o three_o example_n you_o have_v in_o that_o poor_a man_n that_o we_o read_v of_o who_o do_v but_o gather_v stick_n upon_o the_o lord_n day_n and_o by_o the_o command_n of_o god_n from_o heaven_n this_o man_n must_v be_v stone_v to_o death_n you_o will_v think_v these_o thing_n little_a matter_n alas_o consume_v whole_a city_n sodom_n and_o gomorrah_n and_o the_o city_n adjoin_v yea_o and_o all_o the_o man_n woman_n and_o child_n but_o only_a lot_n and_o those_o few_o with_o he_o and_o so_o the_o fire_n to_o come_v down_o upon_o those_o captain_n and_o their_o fifty_n 2_o king_n 1._o and_o the_o earth_n swallow_v up_o corah_n dathan_n and_o abiram_n there_o be_v no_o age_n but_o have_v some_o one_o or_o other_o dreadful_a example_n of_o his_o judgement_n against_o sin_n the_o wrath_n of_o god_n be_v reveal_v from_o heaven_n against_o all_o unrighteousness_n now_o brethren_n though_o some_o people_n have_v escape_v and_o these_o manifestation_n of_o god_n judgement_n be_v not_o so_o general_a and_o ordinary_a yet_o when_o they_o be_v but_o now_o and_o then_o god_n manifest_v what_o his_o displeasure_n be_v against_o sin_n and_o what_o may_v be_v to_o all_o that_o sin_n against_o he_o six_o a_o six_o manifestation_n of_o god_n displeasure_n against_o sin_n be_v in_o those_o eternal_a torment_n and_o misery_n in_o hell_n that_o the_o scripture_n speak_v of_o the_o worm_n that_o never_o die_v and_o the_o fire_n that_o never_o go_v out_o when_o you_o hear_v minister_n speak_v of_o time_n can_v be_v sufficient_a to_o manifest_v to_o the_o full_a the_o displeasure_n of_o god_n against_o sin_n therefore_o those_o that_o perish_v must_v perish_v eternal_o chap._n xxiii_o a_o of_o death_n be_v out_o against_o they_o and_o they_o have_v forfeit_v all_o the_o comfort_n of_o their_o estate_n and_o of_o their_o life_n only_a god_n in_o patience_n grant_v unto_o they_o some_o outward_a comfort_n here_o a_o few_o day_n before_o execution_n and_o upon_o this_o tenure_n do_v all_o wicked_a man_n hold_v their_o estate_n i_o will_v not_o say_v that_o every_o wicked_a man_n be_v a_o usurper_n of_o their_o estate_n as_o some_o perhaps_o have_v hold_v that_o they_o have_v no_o right_n at_o all_o before_o god_n some_o right_n he_o have_v as_o you_o can_v say_v a_o malefactor_n have_v no_o right_n when_o he_o be_v condemn_v to_o meat_n and_o drink_n before_o execution_n he_o have_v right_a to_o what_o be_v give_v to_o he_o of_o donation_n and_o bounty_n but_o not_o that_o right_n which_o he_o have_v before_o so_o i_o say_v for_o wicked_a man_n that_o have_v estate_n in_o this_o world_n they_o have_v a_o kind_n of_o right_a to_o that_o they_o have_v but_o how_o just_o that_o right_a that_o a_o condemn_a man_n have_v to_o his_o dinner_n or_o supper_n before_o execution_n this_o be_v the_o right_n of_o wicked_a man_n to_o their_o estate_n that_o be_v god_n of_o his_o bounty_n grant_v a_o little_a while_n before_o execution_n they_o shall_v have_v a_o few_o comfort_n to_o they_o in_o this_o world_n and_o this_o be_v the_o evil_a of_o sin_n and_o the_o least_o sin_n there_o be_v not_o any_o one_o sin_n but_o the_o fruit_n of_o it_o be_v condemnation_n and_o brethren_n you_o must_v not_o mistake_v to_o think_v that_o wicked_a man_n be_v never_o condemn_v until_o they_o come_v before_o god_n in_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n they_o be_v condemn_v here_o mark_v that_o john_n 3._o 18._o he_o that_o believe_v not_o be_v condemn_v already_o now_o condemn_v not_o grosser_n thing_n can_v so_o unite_v themselves_o together_o so_o brethren_n god_n be_v a_o spirit_n and_o our_o soul_n be_v spirit_n they_o come_v to_o be_v capable_a of_o a_o most_o near_a communion_n one_o with_o another_o and_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n be_v near_o a_o glorious_a union_n with_o god_n in_o this_o regard_n more_o near_o than_o any_o creature_n but_o the_o angel_n because_o the_o object_n of_o man_n understanding_n be_v not_o any_o particular_a truth_n but_o veritas_fw-la truth_n in_o general_a truth_n itself_o in_o the_o whole_a latitude_n be_v the_o object_n of_o man_n understanding_n so_o the_o object_n of_o man_n will_n be_v not_o this_o good_a or_o that_o good_a in_o particular_a but_o bonitas_fw-la good_a in_o general_n in_o the_o full_a latitude_n further_o nor_o high_o but_o it_o be_v otherwise_o with_o man_n soul_n god_n have_v make_v man_n in_o such_o a_o kind_n that_o the_o object_n of_o his_o soul_n shall_v be_v truth_n and_o goodness_n in_o the_o full_a latitude_n in_o the_o infinitness_n of_o it_o take_v it_o in_o the_o utmost_a extent_n that_o can_v be_v yet_o still_o it_o be_v the_o object_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n now_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n be_v of_o such_o a_o wonderful_a large_a extent_n even_o capable_a of_o god_n himself_o of_o enjoyment_n of_o union_n and_o communion_n with_o god_n himself_o
do_v not_o mean_v that_o it_o deserve_v eternal_a evil_n only_o but_o of_o itself_o it_o be_v eternal_a evil_n as_o thus_o grace_n do_v not_o only_o deserve_v eternal_a happiness_n but_o it_o be_v the_o seed_n of_o eternal_a happiness_n it_o be_v that_o principle_n that_o if_o let_v alone_o will_v grow_v to_o eternal_a happiness_n so_o sin_n do_v not_o only_o deserve_v eternal_a misery_n but_o it_o be_v the_o seed_n of_o eternal_a evil_n and_o sin_n itself_o will_v be_v executioner_n upon_o the_o soul_n and_o will_v prove_v a_o intolerable_a misery_n to_o the_o soul_n though_o sin_n be_v the_o very_a element_n in_o which_o many_o man_n and_o woman_n live_v and_o so_o delight_v themselves_o yet_o be_v it_o know_v that_o this_o sin_n do_v not_o only_o deserve_v that_o god_n shall_v bring_v his_o wrath_n upon_o thou_o for_o it_o but_o that_o sin_n will_v prove_v eternal_a torment_n to_o thou_o as_o thus_o the_o fish_n that_o play_v and_o leap_v in_o the_o water_n the_o water_n be_v the_o element_n to_o the_o fish_n that_o it_o delight_n in_o but_o if_o you_o put_v fire_n under_o this_o water_n if_o in_o a_o vessel_n than_o that_o water_n that_o be_v the_o element_n in_o which_o the_o fish_n skip_v and_o play_v and_o delight_v itself_o that_o water_n will_v be_v torture_n and_o torment_v to_o the_o fish_n boil_v hot_a so_o sin_n be_v the_o element_n where_o man_n play_v and_o delight_n in_o sinful_a way_n as_o the_o fish_n in_o the_o water_n but_o when_o god_n come_v and_o mingle_v wrath_n with_o sin_n than_o that_o very_a sin_n which_o be_v thy_o delight_n shall_v be_v torture_n and_o torment_n and_o so_o a_o principle_n of_o eternal_a evil_n it_o shall_v be_v to_o you_o thus_o sin_n be_v another_o manner_n of_o evil_n than_o affliction_n as_o thus_o affliction_n though_o in_o disease_n they_o bring_v pain_n and_o sorrow_n to_o the_o body_n the_o matter_n of_o this_o will_v wear_v out_o in_o time_n and_o so_o the_o disease_n will_v fall_v but_o sin_n be_v such_o a_o principal_a evil_n and_o misery_n to_o the_o creature_n as_o it_o will_v never_o go_v out_o but_o continue_v a_o principal_a of_o eternal_a misery_n thus_o you_o have_v see_v stuff_n and_o then_o he_o cry_v out_o oh_o bless_a be_v god_n though_o i_o have_v pain_n yet_o this_o take_v away_o a_o great_a deal_n of_o that_o bad_a stuff_n that_o will_v have_v breed_v disease_n so_o though_o our_o ministry_n may_v put_v you_o to_o pain_n yet_o you_o will_v bless_v god_n when_o that_o be_v cast_v out_o that_o it_o have_v to_o deal_v withal_o many_o when_o they_o hear_v the_o word_n their_o spirit_n rise_v against_o it_o but_o when_o it_o have_v please_v god_n to_o get_v away_o their_o sin_n though_o upon_o hard_a term_n they_o have_v blessed_v god_n that_o ever_o they_o hear_v the_o word_n that_o do_v trouble_v they_o or_o ever_o see_v such_o a_o man_n face_n i_o remember_v a_o expression_n of_o one_o to_o myself_o that_o when_o he_o sit_v and_o hear_v i_o he_o be_v persuade_v every_o thing_n i_o speak_v be_v against_o himself_o though_o a_o stranger_n who_o i_o never_o know_v and_o he_o profess_v his_o spirit_n rise_v both_o against_o the_o word_n and_o the_o speaker_n go_v home_n and_o the_o word_n work_v and_o work_v out_o sin_n he_o come_v not_o long_o after_o and_o bless_v god_n that_o ever_o he_o hear_v that_o sermon_n and_o so_o certain_o it_o will_v be_v i_o have_v show_v you_o in_o these_o thirteen_o particular_n how_o evil_a sin_n be_v against_o your_o own_o soul_n know_v then_o if_o the_o minister_n by_o the_o word_n can_v but_o get_v away_o your_o sin_n oh_o you_o will_v see_v it_o above_o the_o great_a good_a and_o happiness_n that_o ever_o you_o have_v in_o all_o your_o life_n that_o ever_o you_o do_v understand_v that_o which_o will_v do_v you_o so_o much_o hurt_v alas_o you_o will_v say_v i_o do_v not_o see_v sin_n will_v do_v i_o so_o much_o hurt_v woe_n to_o i_o if_o i_o have_v not_o hear_v the_o evil_a of_o sin_n if_o i_o have_v know_v the_o evil_a of_o sin_n by_o feeling_n what_o have_v become_v of_o i_o you_o have_v hear_v and_o read_v much_o of_o the_o evil_a of_o sin_n now_o think_v if_o these_o thing_n be_v so_o grievous_a in_o the_o hear_n or_o read_v what_o a_o woeful_a condition_n will_v that_o soul_n be_v in_o that_o must_v feel_v it_o that_o must_v have_v every_o one_o of_o these_o particular_n make_v good_a to_o the_o full_a certain_o such_o a_o soul_n must_v needs_o be_v in_o a_o woeful_a condition_n now_o the_o lord_n so_o sanctify_v and_o bless_v unto_o you_o the_o read_n or_o hear_v of_o all_o these_o evil_n that_o none_o of_o your_o soul_n may_v ever_o come_v to_o feel_v they_o chap._n xxxvii_o fourteen_o sin_n be_v worse_a than_o affliction_n because_o it_o harden_v the_o heart_n against_o god_n and_o the_o mean_n of_o grace_n the_o opposition_n sin_n have_v to_o our_o own_o good_a it_o have_v more_o evil_a against_o ourselves_o than_o any_o affliction_n &_o for_o the_o know_v not_o the_o excellency_n of_o man_n they_o know_v not_o wherein_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o rational_a creature_n consist_v and_o therefore_o they_o be_v not_o ashamed_a of_o that_o which_o bring_v they_o under_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o rational_a creature_n beside_o they_o know_v not_o god_n infinite_a holiness_n therefore_o be_v not_o ashamed_a they_o be_v now_o among_o other_o sinner_n and_o they_o think_v though_o some_o seem_v to_o be_v religious_a yet_o they_o think_v other_o be_v as_o bad_a as_o themselves_o in_o their_o heart_n at_o least_o though_o not_o in_o practice_n as_o nero_n because_o he_o be_v bad_a he_o think_v other_o be_v as_o bad_a as_o himself_o so_o a_o wicked_a man_n when_o he_o can_v see_v other_o break_v out_o in_o such_o great_a sin_n as_o he_o do_v yet_o he_o think_v they_o be_v as_o bad_a some_o other_o way_n and_o have_v some_o other_o sin_n as_o great_a and_o because_o they_o live_v among_o they_o that_o be_v as_o bad_a as_o themselves_o and_o live_v in_o the_o same_o sin_n therefore_o they_o be_v not_o ashamed_a for_o as_o a_o collier_n live_v among_o collier_n be_v not_o ashamed_a but_o if_o he_o live_v among_o prince_n and_o nobleman_n he_o will_v be_v ashamed_a so_o wicked_a man_n in_o this_o world_n because_o they_o live_v in_o this_o world_n among_o sinner_n they_o conceive_v to_o be_v sinner_n like_o themselves_o they_o be_v not_o ashamed_a but_o when_o god_n shall_v come_v to_o open_v what_o sin_n mean_v and_o what_o the_o holiness_n of_o god_n mean_n and_o they_o see_v themselves_o stand_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o holy_a god_n than_o they_o will_v be_v ashamed_a but_o certain_o sin_n be_v a_o greater-shame_n than_o affliction_n none_o need_v be_v ashamed_a of_o affliction_n any_o steal_v to_o get_v that_o which_o be_v less_o nay_o not_o only_o so_o but_o they_o be_v hater_n of_o their_o own_o soul_n and_o this_o you_o have_v prov._n 29._o 24._o he_o that_o be_v partner_n with_o a_o thief_n hate_v his_o own_o soul_n there_o be_v a_o instance_n in_o that_o one_o sin_n but_o it_o be_v true_a of_o every_o sin_n for_o this_o must_v be_v take_v as_o a_o rule_n to_o help_v you_o to_o understand_v the_o evil_n of_o sin_n know_v what_o be_v say_v of_o any_o one_o sin_n be_v virtual_o true_a of_o all_o that_o evil_n which_o be_v in_o any_o one_o sin_n be_v virtual_o in_o need_v labour_n to_o put_v off_o the_o weight_n and_o burden_n of_o it_o then_o and_o yet_o now_o after_o you_o have_v tell_v we_o the_o heavy_a weight_n of_o it_o do_v you_o labour_v now_o to_o bring_v the_o weight_n and_o burden_n of_o it_o upon_o our_o soul_n answ_n yes_o brethren_n to_o bring_v the_o weight_n and_o sense_n of_o sin_n be_v that_o i_o labour_n for_o not_o to_o bring_v more_o guilt_n but_o the_o sense_n and_o burden_n of_o sin_n and_o this_o be_v not_o the_o way_n to_o bring_v you_o to_o despair_v but_o first_o learn_v what_o i_o mean_v by_o this_o that_o you_o recommendation_n of_o they_o that_o do_v know_v they_o and_o so_o be_v relieve_v but_o to_o go_v in_o such_o a_o extravagant_a way_n from_o door_z to_z door_z a_o beg_v their_o bread_n i_o hardly_o think_v you_o can_v give_v example_n of_o any_o godly_a have_v be_v so_o and_o if_o god_n will_v but_o turn_v the_o heart_n of_o some_o poor_a wretched_a miserable_a creature_n so_o that_o there_o may_v appear_v godliness_n in_o they_o god_n will_v provide_v for_o they_o it_o be_v true_a though_o there_o be_v not_o godliness_n we_o shall_v not_o let_v they_o perish_v god_n forbid_v let_v they_o not_o want_v that_o which_o be_v absolute_o necessary_a let_v they_o not_o starve_v yet_o the_o scripture_n say_v let_v they_o that_o will_v not_o work_v not_o eat_v let_v not_o we_o do_v more_o
