we_o only_o know_v what_o we_o know_v before_o viz._n that_o the_o soul_n can_v live_v when_o the_o body_n be_v dead_a that_o it_o can_v subsist_v without_o the_o body_n that_o there_o be_v very_o great_a glory_n reserve_v for_o they_o that_o serve_v god_n that_o they_o who_o die_v in_o christ_n shall_v live_v with_o he_o that_o the_o body_n be_v a_o prison_n and_o the_o soul_n be_v in_o fetters_o while_o we_o be_v alive_a and_o that_o when_o the_o body_n die_v the_o soul_n spring_v and_o leap_v from_o her_o prison_n and_o enter_v into_o the_o first_o liberty_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n now_o much_o of_o this_o do_v rely_v upon_o the_o same_o argument_n upon_o which_o the_o wise_a gentile_n of_o old_a conclude_v the_o immortality_n of_o the_o soul_n even_o because_o we_o be_v here_o very_o miserable_a and_o very_a poor_a we_o be_v sick_a and_o we_o be_v afflict_v we_o do_v well_o and_o be_v disgrace_v we_o speak_v well_o and_o we_o be_v deride_v we_o tell_v truth_n and_o few_o believe_v we_o but_o the_o proud_a be_v exalt_v and_o the_o wicked_a be_v deliver_v and_o evil_a man_n reign_v over_o we_o and_o the_o covetous_a snatch_v our_o little_a bundle_n of_o money_n well_o we_o hope_v for_o some_o great_a good_a thing_n hereafter_o for_o if_o in_o this_o life_n only_o we_o have_v hope_n than_o we_o christian_n all_o we_o to_o who_o persecution_n be_v allot_v for_o our_o portion_n we_o who_o must_v be_v patient_a under_o the_o cross_n and_o receive_v injury_n and_o say_v nothing_o but_o prayer_n we_o certain_o be_v of_o all_o man_n the_o most_o miserable_a the_o servant_n of_o god_n in_o this_o world_n be_v very_o miserable_a be_v it_o not_o for_o their_o hope_n of_o what_o be_v to_o come_v hereafter_o 2._o though_o this_o be_v a_o place_n of_o hope_n yet_o we_o have_v not_o our_o hope_n only_o here_o if_o in_o this_o life_n only_o we_o have_v hope_n say_v the_o apostle_n meaning_n that_o in_o another_o life_n also_o we_o have_v hope_n not_o only_o metonymical_o take_v hope_n for_o the_o thing_n we_o hope_v for_o but_o proper_o and_o for_o the_o act_n object_n and_o cause_n of_o hope_n in_o the_o state_n of_o separation_n the_o godly_a shall_v have_v the_o vast_a joy_n of_o a_o certain_a intuitive_a hope_n according_a to_o their_o several_a proportion_n and_o capacity_n 3._o the_o consummation_n and_o perfection_n of_o their_o felicity_n when_o all_o their_o misery_n shall_v be_v change_v into_o glory_n be_v in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v after_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o dead_a which_o be_v the_o main_a thing_n which_o s._n paul_n here_o intend_v 1._o the_o servant_n of_o god_n in_o this_o life_n be_v calamitous_a and_o afflict_a they_o must_v live_v under_o the_o cross_n he_o that_o will_v be_v my_o disciple_n let_v he_o deny_v himself_o and_o take_v up_o his_o cross_n and_o follow_v i_o say_v our_o glorious_a lord_n and_o master_n and_o we_o see_v this_o prophetic_a precept_n for_o it_o be_v both_o a_o
