cause_n of_o it_o in_o that_o we_o have_v not_o conscionable_o use_v the_o mean_n that_o god_n have_v appoint_v for_o the_o confirm_v thereof_o and_o whether_o we_o have_v not_o decline_v in_o the_o course_n of_o our_o obedience_n and_o be_v too_o well_o content_a to_o feel_v a_o inward_a decay_n of_o god_n grace_n for_o which_o god_n hand_n have_v light_v upon_o our_o outward_a man_n and_o if_o we_o deal_v thus_o we_o shall_v be_v drive_v to_o accuse_v ourselves_o rather_o than_o to_o murmur_v against_o god_n and_o so_o fit_v ourselves_o for_o mercy_n we_o shall_v find_v it_o at_o his_o first_o of_o all_o for_o admonition_n unto_o those_o that_o have_v power_n and_o might_n in_o their_o hand_n that_o they_o do_v not_o use_v the_o same_o to_o wring_v and_o pinch_v the_o servant_n of_o god_n nor_o to_o grind_v the_o face_n of_o the_o poor_a for_o if_o they_o once_o abuse_v their_o place_n they_o forfeit_v they_o unto_o the_o lord_n who_o will_v call_v they_o to_o a_o strict_a reckon_n for_o pervert_v justice_n &_o judgement_n and_o for_o use_v that_o authority_n which_o he_o have_v bestow_v upon_o they_o to_o a_o wrong_a end_n and_o purpose_n therefore_o let_v all_o such_o as_o have_v any_o superiority_n either_o in_o public_a or_o in_o private_a carry_v themselves_o humble_o and_o christianlie_a not_o contemn_v any_o one_o lest_o they_o be_v contemn_v of_o the_o lord_n nor_o wrong_v the_o mean_a under_o their_o charge_n lest_o they_o be_v censure_v by_o he_o that_o judge_v all_o man_n indifferent_o without_o any_o respect_n of_o person_n 2_o 2_o second_o here_o be_v another_o use_n of_o instruction_n that_o see_v the_o lord_n will_v check_v &_o control_v the_o most_o violent_a &_o furious_a enemy_n of_o his_o child_n therefore_o when_o we_o be_v injure_v and_o oppress_v by_o such_o manner_n of_o man_n we_o shall_v contain_v ourselves_o within_o the_o compass_n of_o patience_n and_o modesty_n commit_v and_o commend_v ourselves_o and_o our_o cause_n unto_o thou_o o_o lord_n do_v i_o wait_v thou_o will_v hear_v i_o my_o lord_n my_o god_n yea_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n who_o be_v great_a than_o all_o when_o he_o be_v wrong_v by_o the_o devil_n himself_o dare_v not_o as_o jude_n say_v blame_v he_o with_o curse_a speak_v but_o say_v the_o lord_n rebuke_v thou_o though_o christ_n be_v the_o best_a that_o be_v yet_o will_v not_o he_o use_v when_o we_o have_v to_o deal_v with_o wicked_a person_n never_o use_v any_o revile_v word_n against_o they_o but_o refer_v the_o matter_n unto_o the_o lord_n beseech_v he_o to_o pass_v a_o righteous_a sentence_n not_o absolute_o desire_v to_o have_v they_o punish_v as_o our_o saviour_n do_v and_o we_o may_v concern_v satan_n but_o rather_o wish_v that_o they_o may_v be_v so_o rebuke_v in_o this_o world_n as_o that_o they_o may_v escape_v that_o eternal_a rebuke_n which_o the_o devil_n can_v avoid_v thou_o dumb_a and_o deaf_a spirit_n i_o charge_v thou_o etc._n etc._n here_o we_o must_v understand_v that_o when_o our_o saviour_n call_v the_o devil_n dumb_a and_o deaf_a spirit_n the_o meaning_n be_v not_o that_o some_o devil_n can_v speak_v and_o hear_v and_o other_o not_z but_o he_o be_v thus_o term_v in_o regard_n of_o the_o effect_n which_o he_o wrought_v in_o this_o child_n in_o make_v he_o dumb_a and_o deaf_a which_o as_o it_o seem_v be_v his_o manner_n of_o deal_v wheresoever_o he_o take_v possession_n of_o any_o where_o we_o may_v observe_v what_o be_v the_o nature_n of_o satan_n for_o all_o the_o devil_n be_v of_o the_o same_o disposition_n if_o it_o lie_v in_o their_o power_n from_o which_o let_v we_o note_v this_o doctrine_n that_o limb_n doct._n 3._o satan_n be_v desirous_a to_o bereave_v we_o of_o our_o sense_n and_o limb_n if_o the_o lord_n do_v not_o restrain_v satan_n he_o will_v in_o his_o malice_n deprive_v we_o of_o our_o sense_n &_o of_o the_o use_n of_o our_o natural_a part_n such_o be_v his_o quarrel_n against_o
