their_o be_v overcome_v and_o not_o at_o all_o of_o their_o disapprobation_n dislike_n resistance_n repel_v and_o overcome_v they_o the_o latter_a of_o which_o be_v as_o effectual_a a_o mean_n of_o encourage_v preserve_v and_o strengthen_v we_o in_o goodness_n as_o the_o former_a so_o also_o man_n may_v mistake_v in_o their_o confession_n concern_v original_a sin_n if_o not_o right_o inform_v as_o that_o we_o be_v guilty_a of_o adam_n personal_a sin_n and_o so_o deserve_v eternal_a damnation_n therefore_o whereas_o the_o utmost_a that_o seem_v to_o be_v teach_v we_o by_o scripture_n reason_n and_o experience_n which_o indeed_o be_v a_o great_a and_o a_o sad_a deal_n be_v that_o it_o may_v seem_v just_a to_o god_n or_o for_o the_o universal_a good_a to_o constitute_v such_o law_n passion_n and_o consequent_a bad_a impression_n and_o inclination_n it_o clear_v our_o reason_n and_o perception_n of_o all_o perfection_n of_o the_o nature_n of_o god_n of_o the_o truth_n of_o thing_n and_o consequent_o of_o the_o nature_n and_o excellency_n of_o virtue_n and_o its_o only_a instance_n universal_a charity_n and_o goodness_n yea_o and_o cause_v we_o to_o be_v deep_o affect_v with_o it_o to_o admire_v and_o love_v it_o it_o immediate_o dispose_v the_o soul_n to_o a_o sweet_a and_o easy_a benignity_n and_o goodness_n etc._n etc._n wherefore_o i_o say_v i_o will_v endeavour_v to_o introduce_v it_o as_o much_o still_o as_o humane_a nature_n shall_v be_v observe_v to_o be_v capable_a of_o that_o be_v so_o much_o as_o will_v be_v the_o cause_n of_o most_o good_a among_o man_n as_o their_o nature_n or_o affair_n be_v necessary_o constitute_v for_o it_o be_v certain_a the_o employment_n of_o a_o man_n mind_n about_o spiritual_a matter_n may_v be_v too_o much_o spirit_n in_o fine_a very_o little_a and_o mean_a mind_a person_n dull_a afraid_a of_o and_o angry_a with_o every_o small_a thing_n beyond_o measure_n whereas_o a_o free_a and_o discreet_a use_n of_o bodily_a pleasure_n and_o converse_v with_o ordinary_a affair_n may_v secure_v we_o from_o those_o infirmity_n but_o thus_o much_o i_o think_v the_o condition_n of_o man_n will_v very_o well_o general_o bear_v 1._o that_o there_o be_v some_o time_n set_v apart_o for_o the_o public_a worship_n of_o god_n to_o which_o all_o man_n except_o very_o rare_o may_v resort_v which_o time_n may_v be_v once_o in_o the_o week_n at_o least_o or_o often_o 2._o particular_o to_o commemorate_v his_o creation_n preservation_n and_o administration_n of_o the_o whole_a universe_n and_o therein_o with_o all_o suitable_a affection_n to_o acknowledge_v his_o infinite_a perfection_n display_v and_o more_o particular_o to_o commemorate_v that_o part_n of_o his_o providence_n or_o administration_n or_o direction_n and_o government_n of_o the_o affair_n of_o mankind_n viz._n jesus_n come_v among_o we_o from_o he_o for_o our_o redemption_n from_o a_o state_n of_o great_a imperfection_n wickedness_n misery_n by_o his_o doctrine_n life_n gracious_a influence_n procurement_n of_o pardon_n etc._n etc._n all_o this_o also_o with_o agreeable_a affection_n of_o soul_n for_o which_o the_o day_n of_o his_o resurrection_n by_o his_o own_o power_n
