love_n be_v abundant_a in_o the_o work_n it_o do_v and_o if_o you_o love_v the_o lord_n you_o will_v not_o set_v limit_n to_o yourselves_o you_o will_v not_o have_v such_o thought_n as_o these_o i_o will_v do_v as_o much_o as_o may_v bring_v i_o to_o heaven_n and_o no_o more_o i_o will_v take_v so_o much_o pain_n as_o that_o i_o may_v not_o be_v damn_v but_o to_o exceed_v and_o do_v more_o than_o fair_a a_o natural_a disposition_n but_o if_o you_o have_v a_o new_a nature_n and_o be_v become_v new_a creature_n now_o you_o have_v common_a friend_n and_o common_a enemy_n object_n do_v not_o object_v now_o that_o you_o be_v willing_a to_o do_v so_o if_o they_o be_v sincere_a and_o upright_a but_o they_o be_v hypocrite_n i_o say_v answ._n do_v not_o deceive_v yourselves_o in_o this_o for_o as_o they_o reject_v christ_n under_o the_o person_n of_o a_o counterfeit_n and_o of_o a_o wine-bibber_n so_o thou_o may_v persecute_v christ_n under_o the_o person_n of_o a_o hypocrite_n paul_n you_o know_v he_o think_v he_o do_v god_n good_a service_n in_o persecute_v those_o who_o he_o persecute_v yet_o though_o he_o do_v it_o ignorant_o he_o confess_v of_o himself_o that_o he_o be_v a_o blasphemer_n and_o a_o persecuter_n so_o i_o say_v though_o you_o do_v it_o ignorant_o under_o the_o person_n of_o a_o hypocrite_n yet_o that_o be_v the_o judgement_n and_o the_o censure_n that_o will_v be_v upon_o you_o that_o in_o so_o do_v you_o be_v persecuter_n and_o if_o you_o shall_v say_v 2_o that_o if_o the_o lord_n himself_o live_v among_o we_o if_o jesus_n christ_n be_v here_o i_o and_o sorrow_n for_o the_o loss_n of_o they_o after_o you_o have_v enjoy_v they_o for_o if_o you_o find_v that_o you_o be_v much_o affect_v about_o they_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o you_o love_v the_o world_n and_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o world_n intemperate_a and_o excessive_a grief_n and_o complaint_n for_o worldly_a loss_n and_o cross_n be_v a_o sure_a argument_n and_o evidence_n that_o you_o love_v the_o world_n whereas_o when_o you_o love_v the_o lord_n you_o will_v be_v indifferent_a in_o those_o thing_n if_o a_o worldly_a loss_n befall_v you_o you_o will_v grieve_v as_o if_o you_o grieve_v not_o if_o any_o worldly_a advantage_n happen_v you_o will_v enjoy_v it_o as_o if_o you_o enjoy_v it_o not_o a_o man_n will_v be_v thus_o affect_v if_o i_o have_v god_n sure_a i_o reckon_v he_o only_o my_o portion_n all_o other_o thing_n be_v by_o accident_n he_o only_o be_v essential_a to_o my_o happiness_n we_o do_v not_o deny_v that_o a_o man_n may_v grieve_v upon_o such_o occasion_n but_o it_o be_v a_o light_a kind_n of_o grief_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v express_v well_o by_o the_o former_a phrase_n as_o if_o he_o grieve_v not_o he_o know_v all_o this_o while_n the_o main_n be_v sure_a and_o so_o long_o his_o heart_n be_v steadfast_a within_o he_o but_o when_o a_o man_n shall_v fall_v into_o excessive_a grief_n when_o the_o affection_n shall_v be_v exceed_o stir_v affect_v to_o the_o world_n with_o a_o remiss_a affection_n now_o when_o your_o affection_n be_v so_o much_o take_v up_o about_o they_o it_o be_v a_o sign_n you_o love_v the_o world_n and_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o world_n it_o be_v true_a you_o may_v do_v the_o thing_n of_o the_o world_n and_o enjoy_v they_o and_o follow_v after_o they_o but_o in_o a_o remiss_a manner_n but_o when_o your_o affection_n be_v so_o much_o stir_v about_o they_o when_o you_o come_v to_o excessive_a love_n in_o the_o have_v they_o and_o excessive_a grief_n in_o the_o lose_n of_o they_o it_o be_v a_o sign_n that_o you_o love_v the_o world_n and_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o world_n second_o you_o shall_v know_v it_o by_o this_o when_o worldly_a thing_n shall_v come_v into_o competition_n with_o those_o that_o belong_v to_o a_o good_a conscience_n and_o the_o service_n of_o god_n you_o shall_v find_v this_o one_o way_n

be_v you_o will_v have_v a_o burn_a desire_n in_o your_o heart_n long_v after_o they_o you_o shall_v not_o need_v to_o have_v they_o force_v upon_o you_o but_o you_o will_v be_v forward_o to_o do_v they_o you_o will_v be_v affect_v to_o good_a work_n as_o you_o be_v out_o of_o self-love_n to_o your_o own_o business_n you_o know_v when_o a_o man_n natural_o love_v himself_o when_o he_o be_v to_o do_v something_o that_o concern_v his_o own_o good_a how_o solicitous_a be_v he_o about_o it_o and_o how_o provident_a forecast_v how_o to_o bring_v it_o to_o pass_v and_o if_o any_o rub_v be_v in_o the_o way_n it_o trouble_v he_o if_o there_o be_v any_o fair_a passage_n and_o likelihood_n of_o achieve_v it_o he_o rejoice_v now_o if_o you_o love_v the_o lord_n natural_o and_o true_o you_o will_v go_v about_o his_o business_n as_o you_o go_v about_o your_o own_o if_o there_o be_v any_o business_n to_o be_v do_v magistrate_n in_o their_o place_n minister_n in_o their_o place_n and_o every_o man_n indeed_o shall_v find_v some_o business_n to_o do_v wherein_o he_o may_v bring_v glory_n to_o god_n name_n and_o advantage_n to_o his_o cause_n consider_v now_o how_o you_o be_v stir_v about_o will_v be_v with_o you_o if_o your_o heart_n be_v right_o affect_v you_o will_v then_o do_v thing_n after_o this_o manner_n quest._n you_o will_v say_v how_o shall_v we_o know_v this_o love_n this_o be_v a_o nice_a and_o curious_a point_n to_o love_v the_o lord_n thus_o natural_o answ._n you_o shall_v know_v it_o by_o these_o two_o thing_n thing_n first_o by_o the_o evenness_n of_o your_o carriage_n towards_o the_o lord_n for_o what_o a_o man_n do_v natural_o he_o do_v with_o a_o kind_n of_o equality_n with_o a_o kind_n of_o evenness_n so_o that_o as_o we_o say_v a_o uneven_a pulse_n be_v a_o sign_n of_o a_o deadly_a and_o dangerous_a distemper_n within_o so_o i_o say_v when_o you_o find_v a_o unevennesse_n in_o your_o carriage_n to_o the_o lord_n that_o you_o be_v off_o and_o on_o with_o he_o that_o sometime_o you_o do_v a_o thing_n for_o he_o and_o anon_o you_o will_v do_v for_o your_o lust_n this_o be_v a_o sign_n that_o you_o love_v not_o natural_o feign_v thing_n be_v for_o the_o most_o part_n unequal_a because_o when_o a_o man_n do_v not_o do_v a_o thing_n natural_o he_o can_v hold_v out_o a_o man_n can_v dissemble_v so_o well_o but_o at_o one_o time_n or_o other_o he_o will_v discover_v himself_o what_o a_o man_n do_v natural_o and_o hearty_o he_o be_v like_o himself_o in_o it_o still_o therefore_o when_o there_o be_v such_o a_o unevennesse_n in_o your_o way_n some_o will_v be_v very_o forward_o in_o a_o good_a cause_n now_o in_o a_o good_a mood_n and_o then_o out_o of_o it_o again_o it_o be_v a_o sign_n you_o love_v not_o the_o lord_n thus_o natural_o for_o than_o you_o will_v be_v even_o in_o your_o carriage_n towards_o he_o add_v to_o this_o the_o continuance_n of_o it_o for_o if_o you_o love_v the_o lord_n with_o a_o natural_a not_o the_o lord_n with_o a_o natural_a love_n this_o discontinue_v be_v a_o sign_n that_o your_o love_n be_v not_o true_a i_o beseech_v you_o examine_v yourselves_o by_o these_o thing_n whether_o you_o love_v the_o lord_n remember_v what_o i_o say_v the_o last_o day_n do_v you_o desire_v that_o your_o sin_n shall_v be_v utterlie_o destroy_v do_v you_o not_o dally_v with_o sin_n will_v you_o not_o have_v some_o remainder_n within_o you_o nay_o i_o will_v go_v a_o step_n further_o with_o you_o do_v you_o not_o hate_v the_o lord_n you_o will_v say_v object_n god_n forbid_v that_o we_o accept_v for_o the_o deed_n right_a sometime_o a_o man_n be_v ignorant_a of_o some_o particular_n and_o he_o have_v a_o desire_n to_o obey_v god_n in_o all_o thing_n here_o the_o will_n be_v accept_v
