therefore_o that_o will_v not_o stoop_v and_o be_v obedient_a to_o the_o voice_n of_o christ_n have_v no_o save_v grace_n as_o yet_o wrought_v in_o his_o heart_n and_o consequent_o be_v not_o of_o god_n this_o i_o think_v shall_v awaken_v the_o soul_n of_o all_o such_o poor_a carnal_a creature_n as_o love_v their_o pleasure_n and_o profit_n and_o preferment_n more_o than_o god_n i_o beseech_v you_o think_v of_o it_o and_o know_v it_o for_o a_o certain_a that_o while_o you_o hear_v these_o counsellor_n you_o hear_v not_o god_n and_o so_o long_o as_o you_o hear_v not_o god_n he_o have_v no_o part_n in_o you_o neither_o will_v he_o hereafter_o if_o you_o so_o continue_v show_v mercy_n unto_o you_o i_o have_v one_o thing_n more_o to_o say_v before_o i_o conclude_v and_o that_o be_v a_o they_o ought_v to_o take_v special_a notice_n of_o they_o many_o a_o saint_n of_o god_n there_o be_v that_o be_v daily_o vex_v himself_o by_o pore_v on_o his_o own_o weakness_n by_o hear_v whatsoever_o carnal_a reason_n flesh_n and_o blood_n and_o sense_n can_v possible_o raise_v against_o he_o together_o with_o all_o the_o false_a suggestion_n and_o persuasion_n of_o satan_n and_o at_o last_o when_o he_o have_v weary_v and_o tire_v himself_o and_o know_v not_o what_o to_o do_v than_o he_o go_v home_o to_o god_n and_o be_v content_v to_o hear_v what_o
angel_n have_v the_o least_o part_n in_o the_o redemption_n of_o a_o sinner_n we_o be_v the_o redeem_v and_o the_o save_v and_o we_o be_v they_o that_o must_v be_v glorify_v and_o shall_v we_o have_v no_o ear_n to_o hear_v no_o heart_n to_o attend_v to_o no_o desire_n to_o embrace_v the_o word_n of_o salvation_n oh_o what_o a_o shame_n be_v it_o that_o we_o that_o have_v so_o much_o interest_n in_o mercy_n shall_v have_v so_o great_a a_o neglect_n of_o mercy_n what_o then_o remain_v but_o this_o that_o we_o all_o provoke_v one_o another_o to_o the_o performance_n of_o this_o duty_n here_o attend_v to_o no_o advice_n to_o follow_v no_o direction_n to_o obey_v no_o command_n but_o what_o he_o shall_v give_v we_o oh_o but_o will_v some_o say_v what_o be_v this_o which_o you_o teach_v we_o may_v not_o a_o man_n hear_v his_o carnal_a friend_n may_v we_o not_o follow_v the_o advice_n that_o they_o give_v we_o if_o we_o slight_v their_o counsel_n we_o may_v be_v undome_n their_o anger_n may_v be_v such_o against_o we_o that_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v able_a to_o bear_v it_o to_o this_o objection_n i_o will_v reply_v in_o a_o word_n will_v carnal_a friend_n be_v trouble_v and_o and_o do_v what_o he_o require_v or_o if_o you_o refuse_v to_o hear_v his_o counsel_n expect_v to_o hear_v a_o horrible_a sentence_n thunder_v against_o you_o when_o he_o shall_v sit_v as_o judge_n of_o a_o father_n or_o friend_n or_o husband_n or_o master_n stand_v you_o in_o stead_n at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n will_v this_o be_v a_o satisfactory_a answer_n at_o that_o day_n my_o husband_n entreat_v i_o my_o friend_n counsel_v i_o my_o master_n command_v i_o no_o my_o brethren_n as_o you_o be_v brethren_n in_o iniquity_n and_o cause_n of_o sin_n one_o to_o another_o so_o you_o shall_v perish_v both_o together_o therefore_o know_v the_o terror_n of_o the_o lord_n let_v that_o scare_v you_o more_o than_o the_o anger_n and_o displeasure_n of_o all_o the_o friend_n in_o the_o brethren_n whether_o be_v better_a for_o a_o man_n to_o be_v enrich_v or_o glorify_v to_o hear_v a_o earthly_a parent_n that_o happy_o may_v give_v he_o a_o earthly_a patrimony_n or_o a_o heavenly_a father_n that_o assure_o will_v receive_v he_o to_o mercy_n in_o the_o end_n of_o this_o life_n think_v of_o these_o thing_n and_o withal_o know_v that_o the_o mean_n and_o help_n and_o support_v that_o we_o desire_v be_v not_o proper_o in_o the_o power_n of_o friend_n and_o acquaintance_n but_o it_o be_v god_n that_o bow_v the_o heart_n and_o enlarge_v the_o spirit_n of_o man_n whether_o friend_n or_o no_o to_o do_v we_o good_a i_o have_v know_v many_o a_o carnal_a man_n that_o have_v wicked_a friend_n have_v be_v enforce_v to_o bestow_v most_o upon_o those_o who_o life_n and_o practice_n he_o most_o oppose_a and_o hate_v at_o leastwise_o believe_v for_o a_o truth_n what_o the_o lord_n say_v by_o the_o prophet_n isa_n 55.3_o incline_v your_o ear_n and_o come_v unto_o i_o hear_v and_o your_o soul_n shall_v live_v that_o be_v enough_o i_o think_v to_o put_v to_o silence_v all_o such_o objection_n as_o these_o what_o ever_o carnal_a friend_n shall_v persuade_v you_o to_o
