be_v a_o finite_a creature_n yet_o it_o have_v a_o kind_n of_o infiniteness_n in_o the_o work_n of_o it_o after_o god_n you_o will_v say_v infinite_a how_o can_v that_o be_v true_o i_o confess_v proper_o it_o can_v be_v infinite_a but_o thus_o it_o be_v infinite_a in_o its_o kind_n that_o be_v such_o a_o creature_n have_v such_o a_o principle_n as_o it_o will_v fain_o if_o it_o be_v possible_a work_v infinite_o after_o god_n and_o further_o this_o principle_n of_o grace_n do_v cause_v this_o in_o the_o heart_n that_o it_o will_v never_o limit_v its_o self_n in_o any_o work_n after_o god_n and_o therefore_o have_v a_o kind_n of_o infiniteness_n and_o here_o be_v the_o difference_n between_o one_o that_o have_v true_a grace_n and_o the_o most_o glorious_a hypocrite_n in_o think_v thy_o sin_n to_o be_v a_o light_a matter_n but_o know_v that_o when_o thou_o have_v sin_v against_o god_n there_o must_v be_v the_o most_o wonderful_a work_n of_o god_n to_o reconcile_v thou_o to_o himself_o that_o ever_o god_n do_v from_o all_o eternity_n or_o will_v do_v to_o all_o eternity_n this_o be_v the_o great_a wonder_n his_o send_n of_o jesus_n christ_n into_o the_o world_n know_v than_o those_o that_o be_v stranger_n to_o jesus_n christ_n what_o honour_n have_v christ_n in_o thy_o life_n and_o conversation_n one_o passage_n or_o two_o more_o if_o christ_n be_v a_o wonderful_a saviour_n hence_o then_o every_o one_o that_o hear_v of_o christ_n shall_v think_v it_o to_o be_v a_o dreadful_a thing_n to_o miss_v of_o jesus_n christ_n oh_o then_o let_v all_o soul_n to_o who_o a_o more_o honourable_a trade_n than_o the_o other_o now_o if_o the_o subject_n upon_o which_o they_o work_v make_v one_o to_o be_v more_o honourable_a than_o the_o other_o what_o trade_n in_o the_o world_n can_v be_v so_o honourable_a as_o the_o work_n of_o the_o ministry_n that_o work_v altogether_o about_o immortal_a soul_n in_o bring_v they_o to_o god_n to_o live_v to_o god_n and_o to_o enjoy_v communion_n with_o he_o why_o do_v we_o account_v a_o physician_n a_o more_o honourable_a profession_n than_o a_o horseleech_n one_o look_n to_o the_o body_n of_o beast_n and_o the_o other_o deal_n of_o fervency_n of_o spirit_n as_o a_o matter_n of_o infinite_a concernment_n so_o in_o matth._n 10.17_o when_o he_o be_v go_v forth_o into_o the_o way_n there_o come_v one_o run_v and_o such_o a_o way_n for_o reas_n first_o every_o one_o of_o your_o soul_n be_v in_o a_o lose_a condition_n natural_o therefore_o it_o concern_v you_o to_o be_v inquire_v after_o the_o way_n of_o salvation_n second_o the_o salvation_n of_o a_o soul_n be_v the_o most_o difficult_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n if_o ever_o thy_o soul_n be_v save_v it_o must_v cost_v more_o than_o heaven_n and_o earth_n be_v worth_a to_o save_v it_o it_o be_v not_o therefore_o such_o a_o trifle_a business_n the_o save_n of_o soul_n this_o i_o dare_v avouch_v as_o in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n that_o the_o must_v have_v a_o perfect_a righteousness_n for_o thou_o three_o and_o then_o the_o way_n of_o salvation_n be_v this_o it_o reveal_v a_o absolute_a necessity_n of_o the_o application_n of_o the_o satisfaction_n and_o righteousness_n of_o jesus_n christ_n the_o application_n of_o that_o that_o it_o must_v be_v make_v thy_o some_o way_n that_o thou_o must_v have_v thy_o part_n and_o share_v in_o the_o safe_a way_n and_o the_o straight_a way_n many_o of_o you_o you_o question_n about_o many_o thing_n that_o other_o do_v whether_o they_o need_v do_v so_o or_o no_o why_o can_v none_o be_v save_v but_o those_o that_o do_v so_o but_o i_o appeal_v to_o your_o conscience_n do_v not_o you_o think_v the_o strict_a way_n of_o godliness_n be_v the_o safe_a way_n for_o salvation_n now_o if_o it_o be_v the_o safe_a if_o you_o do_v but_o understand_v the_o infinite_a consequence_n of_o the_o salvation_n of_o your_o soul_n there_o need_v be_v no_o other_o argument_n to_o persuade_v you_o to_o any_o strict_a way_n of_o godliness_n but_o this_o whatever_o it_o be_v whether_o absolute_o necessary_a or_o no_o i_o be_o sure_a it_o be_v the_o safe_a way_n and_o i_o be_o sure_a there_o be_v never_o yet_o any_o upon_o his_o sickbed_n that_o do_v repent_v he_o that_o he_o be_v too_o strict_a and_o too_o precise_a but_o i_o have_v know_v many_o that_o have_v repent_v they_o of_o be_v too_o loose_a and_o too_o careless_a now_o in_o a_o matter_n that_o be_v of_o great_a consequence_n you_o will_v be_v sure_a to_o take_v the_o safe_a way_n if_o there_o be_v any_o people_n in_o the_o world_n that_o walk_v so_o as_o your_o conscience_n tell_v you_o they_o be_v in_o a_o more_o strict_a way_n than_o other_o more_o holy_a more_o close_a to_o god_n more_o self-denying_a more_o faithful_a it_o do_v concern_v you_o to_o inquire_v after_o those_o and_o to_o walk_v after_o those_o and_o join_v with_o they_o sure_o those_o that_o go_v on_o in_o the_o safe_a way_n for_o the_o salvation_n of_o their_o soul_n those_o i_o will_v make_v a_o pattern_n to_o i_o i_o will_v not_o look_v what_o the_o common_a course_n of_o the_o world_n and_o the_o generality_n of_o the_o world_n do_v the_o scripture_n tell_v we_o that_o there_o be_v but_o few_o that_o shall_v be_v save_v and_o therefore_o the_o fewness_n of_o man_n shall_v never_o discourage_v i_o be_v they_o never_o so_o few_o be_v they_o never_o
