it_o matter_n of_o deep_a importance_n to_o they_o 3._o and_o of_o certain_a and_o near_a accomplishment_n 4._o they_o that_o do_v not_o competent_o understand_v and_o consider_v his_o work_n by_o competent_a i_o mean_v such_o a_o degree_n and_o measure_n of_o knowledge_n and_o consideration_n of_o these_o as_o do_v 1._o turn_v their_o heart_n from_o all_o creature_n to_o god_n and_o enable_v they_o deliberate_o and_o resolve_o to_o choose_v he_o for_o their_o happiness_n which_o they_o can_v never_o do_v without_o a_o sufficient_a or_o competent_a knowledge_n of_o these_o and_o which_o they_o will_v do_v if_o they_o have_v a_o sufficient_a knowledge_n and_o remembrance_n of_o these_o 2._o and_o turn_v their_o heart_n to_o christ_n as_o the_o principal_a mean_n to_o bring_v they_o to_o this_o happiness_n by_o his_o law_n directive_o and_o by_o his_o spirit_n effective_o this_o i_o mean_v by_o competent_a that_o which_o be_v sufficient_a to_o these_o end_n now_o what_o degree_n and_o measure_n of_o knowledge_n and_o consideration_n it_o be_v that_o be_v thus_o competent_a it_o be_v not_o possible_a to_o define_v because_o it_o be_v not_o in_o all_o alike_o with_o some_o a_o low_a degree_n and_o measure_n of_o this_o knowledge_n and_o consideration_n will_v make_v this_o charge_n other_o need_v a_o high_a measure_n have_v stiff_a corruption_n to_o overcome_v and_o as_o the_o same_o proportion_n of_o strength_n will_v not_o â—evate_v a_o stone_n of_o a_o hundred_o pound_n weight_n from_o the_o earth_n which_o will_v one_o of_o twenty_o or_o forty_o so_o the_o same_o grace_n will_v not_o turn_v a_o heart_n that_o have_v strong_a affection_n to_o the_o earth_n which_o will_v effectual_o convert_v one_o that_o have_v weak_a and_o have_v not_o so_o strong_a a_o bias_n weight_n and_o inclination_n to_o fasten_v it_o to_o the_o world_n he_o that_o have_v one_o of_o these_o mark_n have_v all_o and_o he_o that_o be_v guilty_a of_o these_o be_v forgetful_a of_o god_n so_o that_o by_o these_o you_o may_v acquit_v or_o condemn_v yourselves_o these_o mark_n alone_o i_o say_v be_v sufficient_a to_o detect_v the_o sin_n if_o i_o shall_v mention_v no_o other_o but_o yet_o i_o shall_v add_v two_o other_o which_o will_v discover_v the_o sin_n both_o
