high_a part_n of_o his_o soul_n his_o mind_n and_o his_o will_n he_o seek_v another_o excellency_n suitable_a to_o these_o part_n he_o serve_v a_o high_a a_o more_o spiritual_a immaterial_a substance_n such_o as_o the_o soul_n be_v and_o according_a as_o man_n mind_n be_v of_o divers_a fashion_n so_o they_o be_v in_o a_o way_n of_o seek_v several_a excellency_n for_o themselves_o yet_o according_a to_o their_o different_a age_n child_n delight_v in_o childish_a thing_n and_o so_o do_v man_n likewise_o from_o who_o this_o childishness_n be_v wear_v yet_o according_a to_o their_o they_o will_v have_v some_o seek_v great_a place_n of_o authority_n and_o command_n and_o if_o they_o have_v their_o wish_n that_o be_v the_o excellency_n they_o will_v have_v some_o seek_v the_o favour_n of_o the_o prince_n some_o to_o have_v a_o great_a estate_n that_o man_n may_v say_v he_o be_v worth_a so_o much_o he_o have_v such_o lordship_n such_o fair_a house_n &_o land_n belong_v to_o he_o if_o he_o have_v the_o excellency_n he_o desire_v these_o he_o will_v have_v every_o man_n in_o his_o own_o kind_n according_a as_o man_n understanding_n be_v strong_a or_o weak_a according_a to_o their_o different_a education_n as_o it_o have_v be_v more_o noble_a and_o ingenious_a according_a to_o the_o several_a company_n they_o keep_v where_o they_o find_v such_o and_o such_o thing_n magnify_v according_a to_o the_o several_a age_n they_o live_v in_o as_o we_o say_v something_o be_v in_o request_n be_v one_o age_n in_o one_o company_n something_o in_o another_o i_o say_v natural_a parent_n there_o be_v a_o natural_a affection_n to_o their_o child_n so_o if_o i_o be_v not_o immediate_o to_o present_v your_o petition_n though_o that_o be_v not_o exclude_v yet_o say_v find_v some_o time_n the_o prayer_n of_o a_o godly_a man_n more_o cold_a and_o less_o fervent_a the_o petition_n be_v not_o so_o well_o frame_v as_o the_o wicked_a man_n yet_o because_o this_o come_v from_o such_o a_o person_n the_o lord_n regard_v it_o not_o you_o know_v the_o condition_n be_v mention_v james_n five_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o righteous_a man_n avail_v much_o if_o it_o be_v the_o sense_n of_o the_o misery_n that_o be_v in_o we_o and_o from_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n when_o a_o man_n take_v a_o thing_n to_o heart_n that_o he_o pray_v for_o and_o come_v with_o confidence_n he_o that_o believe_v make_v no_o haste_n that_o be_v he_o wait_v upon_o god_n he_o stay_v himself_o upon_o god_n he_o be_v content_a to_o have_v it_o in_o that_o time_n in_o that_o manner_n and_o he_o do_v it_o not_o in_o the_o same_o manner_n even_o as_o the_o physician_n he_o quench_v often_o the_o thirst_n with_o barberries_n or_o with_o such_o kind_n of_o conserves_n what_o though_o it_o be_v not_o with_o drink_n be_v it_o not_o all_o one_o so_o the_o thirst_n be_v quench_v be_v it_o not_o all_o one_o whether_o a_o man_n be_v hinder_v from_o strike_v i_o or_o if_o i_o have_v a_o helmet_n to_o defend_v the_o blow_n sometime_o the_o lord_n keep_v not_o off_o the_o enemy_n but_o then_o he_o give_v we_o a_o helmet_n to_o keep_v off_o those_o blow_n to_o bear_v those_o injury_n and_o evil_n that_o be_v do_v to_o we_o he_o be_v a_o wise_a physician_n he_o know_v what_o manner_n what_o measure_n and_o what_o time_n be_v best_a therefore_o that_o must_v be_v refer_v to_o he_o which_o he_o be_v solicitous_a now_o when_o a_o man_n hear_v such_o avoyce_n from_o heaven_n that_o the_o lord_n himself_o say_v to_o we_o be_v careful_a for_o nothing_o do_v no_o more_o but_o make_v your_o request_n know_v it_o be_v well_o enough_o i_o will_v sure_o hear_v in_o heaven_n and_o grant_v it_o it_o be_v a_o great_a comfort_n belove_a comfort_n yourselves_o with_o these_o word_n and_o think_v this_o with_o yourselves_o that_o this_o be_v that_o charter_n and_o great_a grant_n that_o the_o lord_n have_v give_v you_o and_o to_o none_o but_o you_o that_o what_o prayer_n you_o make_v a_o incurable_a disease_n it_o be_v no_o more_o but_o go_v to_o the_o lord_n and_o he_o shall_v be_v sure_a to_o be_v recover_v if_o a_o man_n have_v a_o enterprise_n to_o bring_v to_o pass_v it_o be_v no_o more_o but_o go_v to_o he_o and_o it_o shall_v be_v do_v what_o be_v the_o reason_n then_o that_o godly_a and_o holy_a man_n have_v not_o these_o thing_n grant_v to_o they_o to_o this_o i_o answer_v answ._n you_o must_v understand_v it_o with_o this_o condition_n even_o as_o it_o be_v with_o a_o father_n i_o will_v prove_v it_o to_o you_o by_o that_o suppose_v he_o shall_v say_v to_o not_o hear_v he_o for_o he_o know_v the_o child_n be_v but_o mistake_v on_o the_o other_o side_n if_o the_o child_n ask_v something_o that_o be_v very_o hurtful_a if_o he_o ask_v for_o wine_n in_o a_o fever_n the_o father_n deny_v it_o he_o no_o say_v he_o you_o be_v mistake_v i_o know_v your_o desire_n be_v that_o you_o may_v have_v health_n and_o recover_v and_o this_o i_o know_v will_v hurt_v you_o though_o you_o know_v it_o not_o this_o the_o father_n understand_v and_o therefore_o he_o put_v in_o that_o condition_n so_o when_o the_o lord_n say_v in_o nothing_o be_v careful_a but_o in_o all_o thing_n make_v your_o request_n know_v if_o you_o mistake_v the_o matter_n at_o any_o time_n and_o your_o prayer_n shall_v not_o be_v the_o dictate_v of_o the_o spirit_n so_o that_o you_o always_o make_v request_n according_a to_o his_o will_n but_o the_o dictate_v of_o your_o own_o heart_n and_o shall_v be_v the_o expression_n of_o your_o natural_a spirit_n and_o not_o the_o lord_n spirit_n in_o this_o case_n there_o be_v no_o promise_n of_o be_v hear_v and_o yet_o the_o lord_n make_v his_o word_n good_a be_v in_o nothing_o careful_a but_o in_o all_o thing_n make_v your_o request_n know_v second_o a_o father_n when_o he_o say_v to_o his_o child_n i_o will_v deny_v you_o nothing_o but_o you_o shall_v have_v part_n in_o all_o that_o i_o have_v yet_o the_o child_n may_v carry_v himself_o so_o that_o the_o father_n upon_o such_o a_o occasion_n may_v deny_v he_o and_o be_v ready_a to_o say_v unto_o he_o well_o if_o you_o have_v follow_v your_o book_n if_o you_o have_v not_o run_v into_o such_o disorder_n if_o you_o have_v not_o be_v negligent_a to_o do_v what_o i_o give_v you_o in_o charge_n i_o will_v have_v do_v it_o in_o this_o case_n the_o father_n withhold_v
