dislike_v and_o reprove_v not_o only_o because_o of_o the_o absurdity_n which_o it_o have_v common_a with_o the_o heresy_n of_o transubstantiation_n whereof_o we_o will_v speak_v in_o the_o next_o christ_n body_n which_o i_o prove_v against_o they_o thus_o whosoever_o take_v away_o the_o essential_a property_n of_o any_o thing_n take_v away_o the_o thing_n itself_o this_o proposition_n be_v prove_v by_o this_o maxim_n in_o logic_n if_o the_o definition_n of_o a_o thing_n which_o chief_o consist_v of_o the_o essential_a property_n of_o every_o thing_n be_v take_v away_o than_o the_o place_v it_o in_o every_o place_n whereas_o in_o the_o nature_n thereof_o it_o can_v be_v but_o in_o one_o place_n at_o one_o time_n they_o do_v utter_o destroy_v the_o body_n or_o humanity_n of_o use_n yea_o and_o from_o common_a bread_n and_o wine_n and_o apply_v not_o only_o to_o a_o holy_a use_n but_o dedicate_v also_o to_o a_o holy_a end_n that_o be_v to_o be_v sure_a seal_n and_o pledge_n of_o holy_a thing_n to_o wit_n of_o christ_n body_n and_o blood_n and_o of_o the_o effect_n that_o by_o his_o death_n and_o passion_n we_o receive_v but_o that_o this_o change_n shall_v be_v wrought_v by_o any_o word_n i_o be_o so_o far_o off_o from_o allow_v it_o as_o true_a that_o i_o be_o very_o persuade_v
that_o it_o savour_v very_o strong_o of_o a_o magical_a incantation_n and_o i_o be_o so_o much_o the_o more_o confirm_v in_o this_o because_o the_o papist_n rejoice_v as_o enchanter_n and_o sorcerer_n do_v in_o their_o odd_a number_n have_v add_v one_o word_n that_o be_v enim_fw-la to_o the_o word_n of_o institution_n say_v ho_o est_fw-la enim_fw-la corpus_fw-la meum_fw-la as_o may_v appear_v in_o their_o missal_n or_o mass_n book_n 3_o the_o gross_a and_o palpable_a absurdity_n which_o follow_v this_o opinion_n of_o transubstantiation_n be_v sufficient_a and_o strong_a enough_o of_o themselves_o to_o make_v it_o out_o of_o credit_n with_o all_o person_n endue_v with_o holy_a wisdom_n and_o understanding_n &_o to_o cause_v they_o to_o esteem_v of_o it_o not_o only_o as_o a_o thing_n false_a and_o erroneous_a but_o very_o ungodly_a and_o blasphemous_a also_o to_o reckon_v up_o all_o or_o large_o to_o discourse_v upon_o the_o particular_n it_o be_v not_o my_o purpose_n but_o only_o to_o touch_v some_o short_o yet_o so_o as_o the_o vanity_n and_o falsehood_n of_o this_o great_a corruption_n may_v thereby_o easy_o appear_v 1_o first_o i_o say_v that_o this_o do_v utter_o destroy_v the_o nature_n of_o a_o sacrament_n which_o must_v ever_o consist_v of_o two_o part_n to_o wit_n of_o visible_a element_n and_o invisible_a grace_n which_o can_v not_o be_v if_o so_o be_v it_o that_o the_o nature_n and_o substance_n of_o the_o element_n be_v either_o change_v or_o vanish_v away_o and_o the_o thing_n represent_v by_o the_o same_o come_v in_o their_o place_n because_o that_o the_o one_o part_n of_o the_o sacrament_n to_o wit_n the_o visible_a sign_n be_v then_o and_o there_o want_v 2_o second_o i_o affirm_v that_o it_o be_v injurious_a to_o the_o glorify_a body_n of_o our_o saviour_n not_o only_o while_o it_o bring_v he_o from_o heaven_n the_o place_n of_o all_o blessedness_n into_o earth_n the_o place_n of_o all_o misery_n &_o wretchedness_n but_o also_o while_o it_o make_v it_o to_o be_v rend_v and_o tear_v in_o piece_n not_o only_o with_o the_o tooth_n of_o good_a man_n a_o matter_n which_o nature_n abhor_v but_o with_o the_o tooth_n subject_a to_o putrefaction_n corruption_n and_o worm_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o long_a reservation_n thereof_o and_o at_o the_o last_o to_o consume_v in_o the_o fire_n a_o fact_n of_o horrible_a cruelty_n if_o it_o be_v christ_n flesh_n because_o it_o may_v not_o otherwise_o be_v make_v away_o as_o they_o themselves_o confess_v if_o it_o be_v overtake_v with_o horinesse_n moldinesse_n or_o any_o such_o like_a 3_o three_o i_o say_v that_o by_o a_o consequent_a it_o do_v wonderful_o confound_v if_o not_o utter_o destroy_v the_o humanity_n of_o our_o saviour_n with_o his_o godhead_n almighty_a power_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n common_a thing_n indeed_o and_o may_v as_o easy_o be_v reject_v as_o object_v but_o yet_o both_o for_o the_o strengthen_n of_o they_o that_o stand_v &_o for_o the_o satisfy_n &_o instruction_n of_o they_o that_o be_v weak_a and_o ignorant_a i_o will_v in_o a_o word_n or_o two_o as_o it_o be_v make_v a_o short_a yet_o a_o sound_n sufficient_a and_o true_a answer_n i_o hope_v to_o every_o one_o of_o they_o several_o and_o by_o themselves_o the_o first_o place_n object_v be_v these_o word_n out_o of_o john_n 6.13_o except_o you_o eat_v the_o that_o i_o be_o by_o the_o use_n and_o partake_n of_o thy_o holy_a word_n and_o sacrament_n and_o namely_o for_o that_o it_o have_v please_v thou_o thereby_o to_o increase_v my_o knowledge_n to_o confirm_v my_o faith_n to_o assure_v i_o that_o jesus_n christ_n thy_o dear_a son_n have_v not_o only_o die_v for_o i_o but_o also_o give_v himself_o to_o be_v my_o spiritual_a nourishment_n to_o eternal_a life_n and_o salvation_n with_o innumerable_a such_o other_o benefit_n and_o blessing_n for_o these_o and_o whatsoever_o other_o mercy_n which_o thy_o majesty_n have_v free_o bestow_v upon_o i_o i_o do_v yield_v thou_o the_o humble_a thanks_n and_o hearty_a praise_n that_o possible_o i_o can_v beseech_v thou_o to_o accept_v i_o and_o this_o my_o sacrifice_n of_o praise_n &_o thanksgiving_n according_a to_o the_o measure_n that_o thou_o merciful_o have_v bestow_v upon_o i_o and_o because_o i_o feel_v myself_o through_o the_o curse_a corruption_n of_o my_o own_o nature_n wonderful_o incline_v to_o the_o forgetfulness_n of_o thy_o goodness_n i_o beseech_v thou_o to_o grave_a these_o thing_n in_o my_o heart_n with_o a_o claw_n of_o adamant_n and_o to_o imprint_v they_o there_o that_o by_o the_o sight_n thereof_o and_o meditation_n therein_o i_o may_v be_v provoke_v daily_o more_o and_o more_o to_o magnify_v the_o multitude_n of_o thy_o mercy_n which_o do_v not_o only_o bestow_v upon_o i_o these_o great_a and_o wonderful_a grace_n but_o even_o then_o when_o by_o the_o mean_n of_o my_o sin_n i_o have_v deserve_v eternal_a condemnation_n have_v gracious_o give_v i_o the_o same_o and_o i_o pray_v thou_o further_o to_o give_v i_o grace_n good_a lord_n to_o express_v this_o my_o thankfulness_n towards_o thou_o not_o in_o word_n only_o but_o also_o in_o the_o deed_n of_o a_o holy_a conversation_n that_o i_o daily_o increase_v and_o grow_v in_o a_o sound_a faith_n which_o work_v by_o love_n and_o bring_v forth_o all_o good_a work_n may_v order_v and_o direct_v my_o whole_a life_n to_o the_o advauncement_n of_o thy_o glory_n the_o edification_n of_o my_o brother_n and_o my_o own_o eternal_a comfort_n at_o the_o last_o through_o jesus_n christ_n
