commissioner_n second_o paper_n 19_o february_n by_o the_o 13_o proposition_n it_o be_v demand_v that_o a_o act_n be_v cliu_o cliu_o pass_v to_o settle_v the_o prosecution_n of_o the_o war_n of_o ireland_n in_o both_o house_n of_o parliament_n of_o england_n to_o be_v manage_v by_o the_o joint_a advice_n of_o both_o kingdom_n we_o desire_v to_o know_v whether_o if_o the_o two_o kingdom_n shall_v not_o agree_v in_o their_o advice_n touch_v that_o war_n each_o have_v a_o negative_a voice_n or_o whether_o the_o scot_n commander_n in_o chief_a of_o the_o force_n in_o ireland_n may_v manage_v that_o war_n in_o such_o case_n according_a to_o his_o own_o discretion_n their_o answer_n 19_o febr._n in_o answer_n to_o your_o lordship_n second_o paper_n the_o prosecution_n of_o clv_o clv_o the_o war_n of_o ireland_n be_v to_o be_v settle_v in_o the_o two_o house_n of_o the_o parliament_n of_o england_n but_o be_v to_o be_v manage_v by_o a_o joint_a committee_n of_o both_o kingdom_n wherein_o the_o committee_n of_o each_o kingdom_n have_v a_o negative_a voice_n but_o in_o case_n of_o disagreement_n the_o house_n of_o parliament_n of_o england_n may_v prosecute_v the_o war_n as_o they_o shall_v think_v fit_a observe_v the_o treaty_n of_o the_o six_o of_o august_n 1642._o between_o the_o two_o house_n and_o the_o estate_n of_o the_o parliament_n of_o scotland_n and_o the_o ordinance_n of_o the_o 11_o of_o april_n 1644._o deliver_v to_o your_o lordship_n former_o the_o king_n commissioner_n three_o paper_n 19_o february_n by_o the_o 20_o proposition_n in_o the_o particular_n that_o be_v first_o concern_v the_o disband_n all_o army_n and_o then_o for_o his_o majesty_n speedy_a repair_n and_o reside_v at_o westminster_n with_o honour_n freedom_n and_o safety_n we_o shall_v if_o your_o lordship_n think_v fit_a apply_v ourselves_o and_o according_o to_o morrow_n will_v be_v ready_a to_o deliver_v to_o your_o lordship_n some_o proposition_n upon_o that_o subject_n and_o if_o your_o lordship_n shall_v concur_v with_o we_o herein_o we_o hope_v it_o will_v be_v a_o good_a inducement_n to_o procure_v a_o addition_n of_o time_n to_o this_o treaty_n according_a to_o his_o majesty_n proposition_n in_o his_o late_a letter_n to_o we_o which_o we_o deliver_v to_o your_o lordship_n their_o paper_n 20_o feb._n we_o shall_v according_a to_o mutual_a agreement_n between_o his_o majesty_n cii_o cx_o cii_o and_o the_o two_o house_n of_o the_o parliament_n of_o england_n and_o the_o commissioner_n for_o the_o parliament_n of_o scotland_n treat_v these_o two_o remain_a day_n upon_o the_o three_o proposition_n for_o religion_n the_o militia_n and_o ireland_n and_o shall_v be_v glad_a to_o receive_v satisfaction_n in_o they_o from_o your_o lordship_n as_o the_o best_a expedient_a for_o procure_v a_o speedy_a and_o bless_a peace_n that_o the_o army_n may_v be_v disband_v and_o the_o happiness_n of_o his_o majesty_n presence_n may_v again_o be_v enjoy_v by_o those_o who_o have_v nothing_o more_o in_o their_o prayer_n and_o endeavour_n then_o by_o his_o majesty_n conjunction_n with_o his_o parliament_n to_o see_v all_o these_o sad_a difference_n compose_v and_o these_o distract_a kingdom_n rester_v to_o their_o ancient_a happiness_n and_o security_n according_o we_o shall_v be_v ready_a to_o begin_v again_o to_o morrow_n upon_o the_o proposition_n for_o religion_n and_o receive_v what_o your_o lordship_n will_v propose_v and_o be_v satisfy_v upon_o that_o and_o the_o other_o two_o proposition_n we_o be_v confident_a we_o shall_v have_v further_a time_n give_v we_o to_o treat_v upon_o such_o other_o particular_n as_o shall_v be_v necessary_a for_o the_o attain_n of_o those_o end_n we_o all_o desire_n there_o be_v no_o other_o answer_n give_v concern_v his_o majesty_n commissioner_n desire_v to_o treat_v touch_v his_o return_n to_o westminster_n and_o disband_v army_n whereupon_o his_o majesty_n commissioner_n conduct_n be_v but_o for_o two_o day_n long_o their_o answer_n 22._o feb._n your_o lordship_n paper_n of_o the_o first_o three_o and_o ten_o of_o feb._n cxcu._n cxcu._n whether_o we_o have_v any_o instruction_n concern_v his_o majesty_n proposition_n and_o power_n to_o treat_v for_o a_o cessation_n as_o also_o your_o paper_n of_o the_o 14_o and_o 20_o of_o feb._n concern_v his_o majesty_n letter_n for_o a_o addition_n of_o time_n to_o this_o trenty_n with_o your_o lordship_n desire_n thereupon_o have_v be_v by_o ●●_o send_v up_o to_o both_o house_n of_o parliament_n from_o time_n to_o of_o time_n for_o the_o treaty_n and_o we_o do_v conceive_v that_o if_o your_o lordship_n answer_n to_o our_o demand_n concern_v religion_n the_o militia_n and_o ireland_n have_v be_v such_o as_o to_o have_v give_v satisfaction_n in_o the_o good_a progress_n of_o this_o treaty_n mutual_o consent_v for_o twenty_o day_n upon_o the_o say_a proposition_n we_o shall_v have_v before_o this_o be_v
