for_o his_o majesty_n service_n the_o king_n most_o excellent_a majesty_n be_v inform_v of_o the_o great_a spoil_n damage_n and_o loss_n that_o his_o love_a subject_n late_o suffer_v by_o the_o uiolence_n and_o disorder_n commit_v by_o soldier_n when_o they_o last_o pass_v through_o the_o several_a county_n of_o this_o realm_n to_o the_o port_n of_o dover_n and_o his_o majesty_n have_v a_o tender_a care_n to_o secure_v his_o love_a subject_n both_o in_o their_o person_n and_o good_n against_o all_o such_o offence_n or_o fear_n have_v therefore_o think_v fit_a with_o the_o advice_n of_o his_o privy_a council_n for_o repress_v and_o prevent_v the_o like_a attempt_n act_n or_o injury_n by_o this_o proclamation_n to_o give_v solemn_a warning_n and_o publish_v his_o royal_a commandment_n concern_v the_o same_o wherein_o to_o the_o end_n all_o pretence_n of_o disorder_n shall_v be_v take_v from_o the_o soldier_n his_o majesty_n in_o the_o first_o place_n do_v give_v strict_a charge_n and_o command_n to_o all_o captain_n lieutenant_n corporal_n conductor_n and_o all_o other_o officer_n who_o have_v or_o shall_v have_v any_o charge_n or_o command_v of_o conduct_v any_o of_o the_o several_a company_n appoint_v out_o of_o the_o several_a county_n of_o this_o realm_n to_o plymmouth_n that_o they_o do_v not_o only_o see_v the_o soldier_n of_o their_o several_a band_n and_o charge_n respective_o due_o pay_v their_o conduct-mony_n and_o provide_v for_o of_o fit_a necessary_n in_o their_o passage_n but_o do_v also_o careful_o lead_v and_o conduct_v they_o from_o place_n to_o place_n whither_o they_o be_v to_o go_v keep_v always_o with_o their_o company_n and_o suffer_v none_o of_o they_o upon_o any_o pretence_n to_o wander_v or_o straggle_v from_o the_o rest_n second_o that_o no_o person_n or_o person_n whatsoever_o after_o he_o or_o they_o have_v have_v or_o shall_v receive_v he_o or_o their_o prest-money_n do_v presume_v to_o absent_a or_o hide_v himself_o when_o he_o shall_v be_v call_v to_o go_v with_o the_o company_n nor_o be_v in_o company_n shall_v wander_v or_o straggle_v from_o he_o or_o their_o colour_n or_o from_o the_o captain_n lieutenant_n corporal_n conductor_n or_o other_o officer_n to_o who_o the_o conduct_a of_o they_o shall_v be_v assign_v but_o that_o they_o all_o behave_v themselves_o quiet_o and_o orderly_o as_o become_v good_a subject_n without_o offer_v injury_n or_o violence_n in_o their_o passage_n to_o any_o other_o either_o in_o their_o person_n family_n good_n or_o cattle_n or_o fall_v into_o any_o outrage_n or_o disorder_n among_o themselves_o and_o if_o any_o of_o the_o say_a soldier_n shall_v notwithstanding_o this_o public_a warn_v and_o their_o captain_n or_o conductor_n care_v and_o restraint_n break_v out_o and_o commit_v any_o outrage_n take_v or_o spoil_v any_o man_n house_n or_o good_n in_o the_o town_n or_o field_n as_o they_o pass_v straggle_v from_o their_o company_n or_o otherwise_o outrageous_o behave_v themselves_o that_o then_o every_o such_o soldier_n so_o offend_v be_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o his_o majesty_n proclamation_n forthwith_o commit_v to_o the_o constable_n of_o the_o place_n next_o adjoin_v and_o by_o he_o in_o safe_a and_o sure_a manner_n conduct_v to_o the_o gaol_n of_o the_o county_n there_o to_o remain_v without_o bail_n or_o maineprise_n until_o he_o shall_v be_v proceed_v against_o by_o the_o strict_a course_n of_o law_n which_o his_o fact_n shall_v deserve_v for_o a_o example_n to_o other_o to_o avoid_v the_o like_a
