accept_v of_o your_o love_n and_o you_o will_v know_v that_o he_o do_v so_o suffer_v not_o any_o sluttishness_n any_o sin_n and_o filthiness_n to_o rest_v in_o your_o heart_n but_o sweep_v and_o cleanse_v they_o with_o the_o besom_n of_o repentance_n from_o all_o such_o thing_n and_o so_o hitherto_o of_o the_o necessity_n of_o your_o love_v the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n together_o with_o the_o mean_n motive_n and_o mark_n thereof_o and_o in_o all_o these_o the_o equity_n and_o justice_n of_o god_n how_o worthy_a he_o be_v to_o be_v accurse_v that_o love_v he_o not_o now_o second_o follow_v the_o object_n of_o this_o our_o love_n which_o be_v the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n who_o may_v be_v consider_v three_o way_n as_o be_v our_o lord_n saviour_n messiah_n first_o as_o our_o lord_n to_o who_o of_o due_a we_o do_v owe_v our_o love_n and_o obedience_n now_o as_o he_o that_o run_v away_o from_o his_o earthly_a lord_n be_v worthy_a to_o be_v hang_v for_o it_o so_o he_o that_o run_v away_o from_o the_o lord_n christ_n and_o will_v not_o love_v and_o serve_v he_o be_v most_o worthy_a to_o be_v accurse_v but_o i_o have_v speak_v of_o this_o sufficient_o in_o the_o former_a part_n of_o our_o text_n and_o therefore_o because_o i_o have_v be_v so_o large_a therein_o i_o will_v now_o be_v more_o brief_a in_o this_o and_o therefore_o so_o much_o for_o the_o first_o consideration_n we_o must_v love_v he_o also_o second_o as_o our_o saviour_n or_o jesus_n and_o redeemer_n who_o have_v buy_v and_o choose_v we_o unto_o himself_o a_o peculiar_a people_n zealous_a of_o good_a work_n and_o therefore_o let_v we_o not_o defer_v it_o 7._o for_o now_o be_v the_o last_o time_n the_o end_n of_o all_o thing_n be_v at_o hand_n so_o that_o if_o you_o do_v not_o love_v he_o now_o it_o will_v be_v too_o late_o hereafter_o to_o do_v it_o if_o we_o will_v never_o so_o fain_o and_o its_o a_o fearful_a thing_n to_o fall_v into_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o live_a god_n three_o he_o be_v the_o messiah_n the_o anoint_a of_o the_o lord_n the_o light_n that_o shall_v come_v into_o the_o world_n the_o high_a priest_n of_o the_o new_a covenant_n ordain_v and_o consecrate_v of_o god_n to_o offer_v sacrifice_n for_o we_o even_o a_o peace_n offer_v of_o his_o precious_a body_n and_o blood_n to_o be_v a_o reconciliation_n for_o we_o unto_o the_o father_n and_o to_o set_v we_o at_o one_o again_o with_o he_o who_o before_o be_v utter_a enemy_n one_o to_o the_o other_o hater_n of_o god_n and_o hate_v of_o he_o therefore_o be_v he_o also_o call_v our_o peace_n our_o mediator_n and_o advocate_n and_o the_o like_a but_o yet_o he_o be_v not_o only_o make_v and_o appoint_v to_o be_v a_o priest_n unto_o we_o to_o reconcile_v we_o unto_o his_o father_n but_o withal_o a_o king_n too_o to_o rule_v over_o we_o and_o subdue_v we_o if_o so_o be_v we_o will_v not_o be_v reconcile_v and_o come_v in_o unto_o he_o therefore_o these_o two_o word_n lord_n and_o jesus_n be_v here_o and_o in_o diverse_a other_o place_n elsewhere_o join_v together_o and_o so_o saint_n peter_n give_v he_o two_o the_o like_a title_n say_v that_o he_o be_v a_o prince_n and_o a_o saviour_n not_o a_o saviour_n only_o but_o also_o a_o prince_n to_o they_o that_o will_v not_o that_o he_o shall_v reign_v over_o they_o 31._o so_o that_o we_o must_v mark_v this_o then_o we_o do_v not_o preach_v christ_n in_o the_o gospel_n a_o saviour_n only_o but_o a_o prince_n and_o a_o lord_n also_o and_o they_o that_o love_v he_o must_v be_v content_a to_o take_v he_o as_o both_o aswell_o she_o in_o sickness_n and_o in_o health_n and_o thus_o if_o we_o be_v content_a to_o take_v christ_n upon_o these_o condition_n than_o we_o shall_v have_v he_o with_o all_o his_o influence_n all_o the_o fruit_n and_o benefit_n of_o his_o passion_n but_o otherwise_o thou_o have_v no_o part_n nor_o portion_n therein_o christ_n shall_v profit_v thou_o nothing_o but_o thou_o be_v and_o shall_v be_v accurse_v to_o the_o death_n notwithstanding_o he_o die_v it_o may_v be_v thou_o will_v say_v object_n thou_o care_v not_o for_o that_o but_o let_v i_o ask_v thou_o one_o question_n sol._n do_v thou_o with_o saint_n paul_n here_o let_v he_o be_v accurse_v for_o this_o be_v a_o infallible_a and_o sure_a sign_n of_o this_o love_n which_o proceed_v from_o faith_n that_o when_o we_o see_v christ_n trample_v under_o foot_n our_o heart_n burn_v within_o we_o as_o he_o do_v there_o be_v some_o say_v he_o of_o which_o i_o tell_v you_o before_o and_o now_o tell_v you_o again_o with_o tear_n or_o weep_a that_o they_o go_v about_o to_o pervert_v and_o turn_v other_o from_o the_o way_n of_o god_n so_o that_o we_o may_v here_o see_v saint_n paul_n disposition_n he_o do_v not_o say_v curse_a be_v he_o but_o curse_a be_v he_o from_o whence_o we_o may_v also_o note_v the_o difference_n betwixt_o the_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n and_o â—f_o the_o gospel_n for_o the_o law_n faith_n curse_a be_v he_o that_o continue_v not_o in_o all_o etc._n etc._n but_o the_o gospel_n say_v curse_a be_v he_o that_o love_v not_o the_o lord_n etc._n etc._n now_o if_o we_o love_v he_o we_o will_v desire_v as_o be_v say_v but_o a_o little_a before_o to_o be_v join_v unto_o he_o and_o to_o have_v his_o company_n for_o how_o can_v that_o woman_n be_v say_v to_o love_v her_o husband_n that_o care_v not_o for_o his_o company_n so_o how_o can_v thou_o say_v thou_o love_v the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n when_o thou_o love_v not_o his_o society_n again_o if_o we_o love_v he_o we_o will_v be_v content_a to_o have_v he_o upon_o any_o condition_n for_o love_n be_v impulsive_a the_o love_n of_o christ_n constrain_v we_o as_o the_o apostle_n speak_v to_o do_v what_o it_o desire_v yet_o so_o as_o not_o against_o but_o with_o our_o will_n which_o it_o incline_v thereunto_o now_o if_o we_o do_v not_o find_v these_o thing_n in_o we_o we_o do_v not_o love_v the_o etc._n etc._n and_o therefore_o this_o doctrine_n that_o he_o that_o love_v he_o not_o be_v &c._n &c._n it_o shall_v teach_v we_o to_o consider_v our_o own_o condition_n how_o we_o stand_v affect_v towards_o he_o and_o whether_o we_o love_v he_o or_o not_o and_o we_o shall_v know_v it_o for_o certain_a whether_o we_o do_v or_o do_v not_o by_o examine_v ourselves_o by_o these_o query_n first_o whether_o whatsoever_o good_a thing_n we_o have_v do_v we_o have_v do_v they_o out_o of_o love_n to_o god_n and_o desire_v of_o his_o glory_n more_o than_o of_o our_o own_o profit_n or_o out_o of_o custom_n for_o otherwise_o all_o that_o we_o do_v be_v conscience_n sake_n be_v rather_o abominable_a than_o any_o whit_n please_v unto_o god_n for_o then_o will_v thou_o no_o long_o content_v thyself_o with_o the_o form_n of_o godliness_n but_o labour_n he_o so_o mary_n magdalen_n love_v much_o because_o much_o be_v forgive_v she_o second_o by_o familiarity_n with_o he_o we_o have_v a_o say_n that_o nimium_fw-la familiaritatis_fw-la contemptum_fw-la
