preach_v and_o read_v in_o the_o writing_n of_o some_o both_o godly_a and_o learned_a divine_n many_o persuasion_n to_o be_v weary_a of_o life_n and_o to_o be_v desirous_a of_o death_n which_o to_o say_v no_o more_o quite_o cross_v this_o wisdom_n and_o goodness_n of_o god_n in_o promise_a life_n to_o his_o best_a servant_n as_o a_o chief_a reward_n of_o their_o good_a service_n let_v we_o then_o so_o account_v of_o long_a life_n as_o a_o rich_a blessing_n which_o make_v all_o other_o blessing_n of_o this_o life_n the_o more_o excellent_a and_o useful_a both_o to_o god_n and_o man_n to_o ourselves_o and_o other_o and_o the_o want_n hereof_o the_o quite_o contrary_a as_o may_v be_v easy_o show_v in_o all_o particular_n how_o do_v it_o abate_v the_o use_n and_o comfort_n of_o we_o much_o more_o willing_a to_o bear_v any_o thing_n at_o god_n hand_n and_o to_o look_v for_o some_o good_a issue_n out_o of_o all_o the_o affliction_n which_o he_o shall_v lay_v upon_o us._n although_o those_o two_o divine_a property_n in_o god_n be_v unseparable_o join_v together_o in_o all_o his_o deal_n with_o his_o own_o child_n join_v both_o join_v yet_o it_o shall_v much_o more_o increase_v our_o comfort_n in_o any_o affliction_n which_o befall_v we_o to_o consider_v they_o apart_o and_o first_o that_o we_o may_v behold_v how_o wise_o god_n order_v the_o matter_n in_o all_o want_v any_o thing_n that_o be_v good_a and_o whatsoever_o do_v befall_v we_o though_o never_o so_o hurtful_a in_o itself_o yet_o it_o shall_v turn_v to_o our_o good_a in_o the_o end_n now_o we_o be_v come_v to_o the_o five_o general_a head_n of_o this_o treatise_n of_o live_v by_o faith_n which_o concern_v all_o earthly_a blessing_n how_o we_o may_v be_v provide_v of_o all_o thing_n needful_a for_o this_o natural_a life_n which_o be_v so_o necessary_a as_o we_o well_o know_v that_o we_o can_v be_v without_o they_o we_o be_v natural_o so_o addict_v to_o they_o that_o nothing_o do_v more_o take_v up_o our_o mind_n and_o heart_n spiritual_a care_v for_o earthly_a be_v a_o hindrance_n to_o spiritual_a than_o our_o care_n &_o labour_n for_o these_o neither_o do_v any_o thing_n more_o hinder_v our_o spiritual_a life_n all_o which_o the_o lord_n our_o god_n well_o consider_v have_v herein_o most_o bountiful_o provide_v for_o we_o and_o promise_v unto_o we_o all_o needful_a blessing_n for_o this_o life_n in_o such_o sort_n that_o be_v we_o wise_a to_o see_v and_o embrace_v this_o bounty_n of_o the_o lord_n we_o shall_v not_o only_o be_v free_v from_o a_o world_n of_o care_n and_o trouble_n wherewith_o most_o man_n be_v usual_o so_o encumber_v that_o they_o can_v find_v or_o spare_v no_o time_n nor_o travel_n to_o seek_v after_o the_o thing_n which_o belong_v to_o a_o better_a life_n but_o we_o shall_v be_v so_o further_v by_o our_o contentment_n in_o those_o outward_a and_o earthly_a blessing_n that_o with_o more_o chearfulnesse_n we_o shall_v run_v our_o race_n of_o christianity_n and_o be_v every_o way_n more_o fit_a to_o all_o holy_a duty_n let_v we_o then_o hear_v and_o consider_v what_o the_o lord_n say_v unto_o we_o in_o this_o behalf_n blessing_n general_n promise_v for_o earthly_a blessing_n
