and_o they_o that_o be_v of_o david_n spirit_n that_o shall_v in_o his_o name_n rule_v his_o people_n so_o that_o mind_n you_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n be_v carry_v a_o end_n in_o this_o course_n he_o begin_v with_o the_o people_n first_o because_o they_o be_v first_o corrupt_v and_o then_o with_o ruler_n for_o have_v not_o they_o be_v soon_o corrupt_v it_o have_v not_o be_v possible_a that_o the_o church_n shall_v so_o quick_o have_v become_v a_o wilderness_n so_o here_o he_o begin_v with_o the_o common_a sort_n and_o then_o with_o minister_n and_o then_o with_o the_o great_a light_n that_o according_a to_o the_o pattern_n show_v in_o the_o word_n as_o it_o have_v be_v hitherto_o hold_v forth_o to_o you_o look_v to_o it_o that_o the_o sea_n you_o wash_v and_o bathe_v your_o soul_n in_o be_v not_o defile_v let_v it_o be_v so_o clear_a that_o the_o virtue_n of_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n may_v be_v discern_v in_o it_o otherwise_o believe_v it_o though_o you_o may_v think_v it_o time_n and_o place_n though_o that_o be_v true_a they_o must_v look_v to_o it_o and_o god_n will_v require_v it_o else_o at_o their_o hand_n yet_o if_o you_o look_v not_o to_o it_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n will_v be_v pour_v out_o upon_o you_o if_o man_n unprepared_a shall_v most_o giddy_o rush_v into_o the_o church_n what_o will_v the_o issue_n be_v the_o lord_n will_v pour_v a_o cold_a hailstorm_n upon_o you_o never_o such_o coldness_n fall_v upon_o man_n as_o there_o will_v be_v when_o they_o rush_v into_o church_n before_o they_o be_v warm_v with_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n jesus_n revel_v 8.7_o that_o be_v the_o first_o trumpet_n of_o god_n vengeance_n there_o heavy_a grievous_a hailstone_n great_a hailstone_n and_o which_o be_v wonderful_a you_o will_v think_v it_o marvellous_a but_o it_o be_v true_a as_o they_o be_v cold_a in_o religion_n so_o they_o be_v zealous_a for_o contention_n and_o coveteousnesse_n and_o ambition_n and_o personal_a respect_n that_o if_o they_o get_v a_o opinion_n by_o the_o end_n they_o contend_v for_o it_o as_o pro_fw-la aris_fw-la &_o focis_fw-la for_o fire_n on_o the_o hearth_n as_o if_o there_o be_v no_o warmth_n but_o in_o that_o though_o the_o opinion_n be_v never_o so_o unsavoury_a when_o man_n thrust_v into_o the_o church_n and_o take_v it_o very_o ill_o if_o they_o be_v examine_v what_o will_v the_o issue_n be_v nothing_o but_o cold_a shill_n dead-heartednesse_n fall_v upon_o they_o and_o then_o a_o wild_a fire_n of_o rage_n and_o crotchet_o opinion_n and_o then_o grow_v so_o zealous_a therein_o as_o if_o religion_n lie_v in_o some_o quintessence_n notion_n of_o they_o therefore_o first_o look_v for_o and_o beware_v of_o corruption_n in_o the_o common_a people_n then_o second_o let_v the_o lord_n minister_n i_o speak_v to_o myself_o use_v 2_o as_o much_o as_o any_o other_o in_o a_o special_a manner_n look_v to_o these_o thing_n that_o we_o diligent_o look_v to_o religion_n and_o the_o purity_n of_o doctrine_n and_o worship_n and_o of_o every_o ordinance_n of_o god_n with_o circumspection_n and_o faithfulness_n and_o diligence_n and_o sedulity_n and_o watchfulness_n that_o nothing_o of_o the_o holy_a thing_n of_o god_n may_v be_v corrupt_v that_o be_v commit_v to_o we_o for_o we_o shall_v next_o feel_v the_o smart_n of_o it_o for_o as_o religion_n will_v be_v corrupt_a in_o the_o people_n first_o and_o so_o far_o as_o that_o you_o shall_v have_v no_o power_n nor_o life_n of_o godliness_n in_o it_o and_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n will_v be_v as_o the_o blood_n of_o a_o dead_a man_n so_o than_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n must_v look_v to_o it_o for_o the_o next_o thing_n will_v be_v some_o heavy_a judgement_n or_o other_o god_n will_v bring_v upon_o they_o if_o they_o be_v not_o vigilant_a to_o see_v that_o all_o thing_n be_v do_v according_a to_o the_o true_a platform_n leave_v to_o we_o in_o the_o word_n you_o know_v the_o prophet_n malachy_n complain_v continue_v watchful_a in_o this_o kind_n it_o be_v true_a there_o be_v a_o order_n to_o look_v to_o all_o corruption_n in_o doctrine_n and_o worship_n and_o government_n that_o be_v stir_v in_o the_o country_n and_o it_o be_v true_a matter_n of_o religion_n be_v first_o and_o proper_o considerable_a in_o the_o church_n themselves_o by_o the_o officer_n and_o brethren_n of_o the_o church_n but_o if_o magistrate_n shall_v find_v brethren_n or_o officer_n defective_a or_o neglective_a it_o will_v be_v their_o part_n to_o give_v free_a passage_n to_o all_o undertake_n for_o redress_n and_o if_o any_o thing_n come_v to_o your_o cognizance_n before_o it_o come_v to_o the_o church_n than_o it_o will_v concern_v you_o to_o stir_v up_o the_o church_n to_o look_v to_o doctrine_n worship_n and_o government_n and_o you_o will_v find_v in_o this_o case_n you_o will_v deliver_v your_o soul_n from_o danger_n and_o church-officer_n and_o people_n too_o otherwise_o you_o see_v the_o danger_n of_o corruption_n in_o religion_n if_o the_o earth_n be_v corrupt_a the_o sea_n will_v be_v corrupt_a and_o the_o river_n and_o fountain_n and_o the_o sun_n will_v be_v corrupt_a and_o all_o alike_o more_o or_o less_o afflict_a and_o plague_v of_o god_n for_o toleration_n of_o such_o evil_n as_o be_v find_v among_o they_o so_o much_o for_o the_o first_o point_n let_v i_o speak_v a_o word_n of_o another_o and_o so_o come_v to_o a_o end_n the_o next_o note_n be_v this_o a_o wicked_a heart_n will_v not_o repent_v of_o sin_n no_o not_o under_o the_o wrathful_a doct._n 2_o hand_n of_o god_n who_o have_v power_n over_o his_o own_o judgement_n to_o give_v he_o the_o glory_n but_o will_v rather_o break_v forth_o to_o further_a wickedness_n even_o to_o blaspemy_n against_o the_o name_n of_o god_n it_o be_v say_v of_o ahaz_n that_o when_o he_o be_v in_o distress_n on_o every_o hand_n yet_o in_o his_o distress_n he_o do_v trespass_n more_o against_o the_o lord_n 2_o chron._n 28.22_o this_o be_v the_o god_n of_o damascus_n which_o smite_v he_o because_o the_o god_n of_o the_o king_n of_o syria_n help_v they_o etc._n etc._n in_o stead_n of_o humble_v himself_o under_o god_n hand_n to_o give_v bring_v in_o judgement_n upon_o christian_a rome_n and_o these_o vial_n be_v the_o plague_n of_o god_n upon_o those_o very_a corruption_n which_o the_o trumpet_n bring_v in_o now_o you_o shall_v find_v that_o the_o effect_n of_o the_o sound_n of_o the_o six_o trumpet_n be_v there_o be_v four_o angel_n loose_v which_o be_v bind_v in_o the_o great_a river_n euphrates_n and_o thâ—â—â—_n angel_n be_v ready_a with_o a_o army_n of_o two_o hundred_o thousand_o thousand_o and_o they_o by_o general_a consent_n of_o all_o interpreter_n be_v to_o be_v understand_v of_o the_o four_o family_n of_o here_o be_v a_o world_n of_o business_n that_o be_v to_o be_v translate_v after_o this_o vial_n be_v pour_v out_o above_o a_o thousand_o year_n after_o this_o before_o the_o come_n of_o christ_n to_o the_o last_o judgement_n but_o his_o come_n in_o any_o notable_a judgement_n his_o come_n especial_o if_o it_o be_v a_o come_v sudden_o and_o secret_o and_o powerful_o it_o be_v come_v as_o a_o thief_n as_o you_o have_v a_o instance_n of_o it_o in_o rev._n 3.3_o to_o the_o church_n of_o sardis_n i_o will_v come_v on_o thou_o as_o a_o thief_n how_o like_o a_o thief_n thou_o shall_v not_o the_o hand_n of_o pontius_n pilate_n it_o be_v a_o great_a sin_n and_o so_o much_o the_o great_a because_o pilate_n authority_n be_v of_o god_n and_o they_o will_v arm_v the_o sword_n of_o god_n against_o the_o lord_n jesus_n and_o if_o pilate_n have_v the_o power_n give_v he_o of_o god_n either_o to_o crucify_v christ_n or_o loose_v he_o if_o he_o shall_v abuse_v his_o authority_n in_o put_v christ_n to_o death_n as_o he_o do_v then_o he_o that_o deliver_v i_o unto_o thou_o have_v the_o great_a sin_n but_o thou_o then_o that_o do_v abuse_v thy_o power_n to_o crucify_v i_o shall_v be_v
