herein_o a_o man_n be_v distinct_a from_o a_o beast_n a_o beast_n understand_v not_o know_v not_o be_v not_o able_a to_o reflect_v upon_o his_o own_o action_n and_o to_o consider_v whether_o it_o be_v good_a or_o evil_n when_o he_o have_v do_v it_o but_o now_o a_o man_n that_o have_v this_o rational_a life_n be_v and_o the_o more_o of_o man_n in_o a_o man_n the_o more_o he_o be_v able_a to_o reflect_v upon_o his_o own_o action_n look_v i_o pray_v into_o the_o 46._o chapter_n of_o isaiah_n and_o there_o you_o shall_v find_v this_o to_o be_v the_o essential_a property_n of_o a_o man_n at_o the_o world_n can_v and_o therefore_o upon_o those_o term_n of_o love_n and_o friendship_n christ_n by_o his_o spirit_n live_v in_o all_o believer_n object_n it_o will_v be_v say_v if_o christ_n live_v in_o all_o believer_n real_o live_v in_o they_o by_o his_o spirit_n then_o what_o need_v of_o ordinance_n for_o christ_n and_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n in_o i_o can_v live_v without_o ordinance_n and_o if_o a_o man_n have_v attain_v once_o unto_o the_o spirit_n christ_n in_o he_o and_o christ_n live_v in_o he_o and_o have_v attain_v unto_o the_o spirit_n the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n real_o live_v in_o he_o what_o need_v of_o any_o commandment_n without_o or_o rule_n without_o for_o the_o spirit_n will_v be_v a_o sufficient-rule_n to_o lead_v he_o into_o all_o that_o be_v right_a what_o need_v therefore_o of_o any_o commandment_n rule_n or_o ordinance_n without_o answ_n yes_o for_o we_o use_v the_o ordinance_n not_o only_o for_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n in_o they_o but_o as_o a_o testimony_n of_o our_o obedience_n if_o that_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n be_v the_o only_a reason_n of_o the_o ordinance_n then_o in_o case_n that_o a_o man_n can_v without_o the_o ordinance_n have_v the_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n he_o may_v lay_v by_o the_o ordinance_n but_o see_v that_o we_o be_v for_o to_o use_v the_o ordinance_n as_o a_o act_n of_o our_o obedience_n although_o a_o man_n can_v enjoy_v christ_n have_v the_o spirit_n and_o christ_n live_v in_o he_o yet_o notwithstanding_o he_o be_v still_o to_o bear_v up_o the_o ordinance_n because_o there_o he_o be_v to_o express_v his_o obedience_n unto_o god_n and_o christ_n and_o now_o give_v i_o leave_v a_o little_a to_o fix_v here_o to_o take_v off_o this_o scruple_n and_o objection_n if_o you_o look_v into_o the_o 27._o of_o number_n you_o shall_v find_v that_o joshua_n have_v the_o spirit_n and_o not_o in_o a_o ordinary_a way_n but_o in_o a_o more_o than_o ordinary_a way_n the_o lord_n give_v joshua_n his_o spirit_n and_o yet_o notwithstanding_o joshua_n be_v to_o be_v under_o commandment_n and_o under_o ordinance_n at_o the_o 18._o verse_n the_o lord_n say_v new_a testament_n look_v upon_o one_o place_n more_o it_o be_v in_o the_o 30._o chap._n of_o isaiah_n the_o 20._o and_o 21._o verse_n a_o promise_n make_v concern_v the_o time_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o though_o the_o lord_n give_v you_o the_o bread_n of_o adversity_n and_o the_o water_n of_o affliction_n yet_o shall_v not_o thy_o teacher_n be_v remove_v into_o a_o corner_n any_o more_o but_o thy_o eye_n shall_v see_v thy_o teacher_n here_o be_v ordinance_n here_o be_v teacher_n well_o now_o but_o where_o be_v the_o spirit_n verse_n the_o 21._o and_o thy_o ear_n shall_v hear_v a_o word_n behind_o thou_o say_v this_o be_v the_o way_n walk_v in_o it_o thy_o ear_n shall_v hear_v a_o word_n behind_o thou_o who_o speak_v that_o word_n look_v into_o the_o 1._o chapter_n of_o the_o you_o by_o instance_n thus_o if_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n have_v a_o great_a hand_n and_o stroke_n in_o our_o conversion_n in_o our_o performance_n of_o duty_n in_o our_o obedience_n in_o the_o grace_n of_o our_o suffering_n in_o our_o assurance_n than_o we_o or_o believer_n have_v themselves_o then_o certain_o this_o part_n of_o the_o doctrine_n must_v stand_v clear_a and_o firm_a first_o as_o for_o our_o conversion_n you_o know_v what_o our_o saviour_n say_v none_o come_v unto_o the_o son_n but_o who_o the_o father_n draw_v 10.22_o mat._n 10.22_o and_o none_o know_v the_o father_n but_o he_o unto_o who_o the_o son_n reveal_v he_o convert_v i_o say_v the_o turn_a soul_n and_o i_o shall_v be_v convert_v as_o for_o our_o performance_n or_o duty_n prayer_n or_o whatever_o it_o be_v look_v into_o the_o 8._o chapter_n to_o the_o roman_n and_o the_o 26._o vers_fw-la likewise_o the_o spirit_n also_o help_v our_o infirmity_n but_o how_o do_v this_o prove_v that_o the_o spirit_n have_v a_o great_a hand_n and_o stroke_n in_o our_o prayer_n than_o ourselves_o have_v mark_v what_o follow_v for_o we_o know_v not_o what_o we_o shall_v pray_v for_o as_o we_o ought_v but_o the_o have_v then_o sure_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n have_v a_o great_a hand_n and_o stroke_n in_o the_o spiritual_a action_n of_o believer_n than_o themselves_o have_v now_o that_o be_v prove_v reas_n to_o give_v you_o one_o reason_n for_o it_o if_o a_o believer_n have_v a_o great_a hand_n and_o stroke_n in_o his_o spiritual_a action_n than_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n then_o have_v he_o wherein_o to_o boast_v for_o he_o may_v say_v thus_o i_o have_v now_o be_v at_o duty_n i_o confess_v i_o have_v have_v some_o help_n from_o christ_n and_o from_o the_o spirit_n but_o i_o have_v the_o a_o life_n under_o temptation_n and_o freedom_n from_o those_o temptation_n desertion_n and_o freedom_n from_o those_o desertion_n his_o life_n here_o on_o earth_n be_v a_o hide_a life_n a_o veil_a
