ruff_n usage_n 3._o but_o three_o the_o main_a reason_n the_o grand_a and_o principal_a ground_n why_o some_o of_o israel_n may_v perish_v in_o time_n of_o common_a calamity_n be_v this_o they_o sin_v name_n that_o speak_v the_o great_a god_n able_a to_o meet_v with_o &_o avenge_v himself_o on_o all_o they_o that_o walk_v not_o with_o he_o in_o truth_n and_o uprightness_n that_o they_o may_v not_o carry_v it_o as_o those_o that_o have_v interest_n in_o the_o lord_n interest_n in_o the_o lord_n do_v not_o give_v a_o liberty_n unto_o sin_n but_o be_v the_o great_a engagement_n unto_o holiness_n and_o soul_n may_v forget_v that_o obligation_n under_o which_o they_o lie_v those_o bond_n of_o god_n that_o be_v upon_o they_o that_o filial_a childlike_a obedience_n which_o they_o be_v to_o render_v unto_o their_o father_n and_o upon_o such_o defect_n god_n threaten_v as_o you_o have_v hear_v take_v his_o threaten_n in_o a_o few_o particular_n and_o you_o shall_v see_v what_o sin_n may_v bring_v upon_o the_o lord_n be_v own_o people_n he_o threaten_v first_o plague_n yea_o all_o kind_n of_o plague_n judgement_n of_o every_o sort_n two_o such_o as_o shall_v be_v wonderful_a that_o shall_v be_v full_a of_o terror_n and_o amazement_n unto_o all_o that_o look_v upon_o they_o as_o god_n sometime_o speak_v to_o his_o people_n and_o tell_v they_o he_o will_v make_v they_o a_o astonishment_n to_o all_o round_a about_o they_o yea_o such_o as_o shall_v make_v they_o a_o wonder_n unto_o themselves_o three_o he_o threaten_v they_o shall_v lie_v under_o plague_n of_o long_a continuance_n year_n after_o year_n we_o be_v apt_a to_o think_v a_o judgement_n must_v be_v terminate_v to_o and_o end_v in_o such_o a_o space_n of_o time_n but_o god_n can_v stretch_v it_o out_o upon_o his_o own_o even_o for_o a_o long_a season_n four_o all_o the_o judgement_n of_o egypt_n shall_v come_v upon_o they_o all_o the_o judgement_n they_o be_v afraid_a of_o and_o prove_v a_o terror_n unto_o their_o soul_n 5th_o they_o may_v fall_v under_o such_o judgement_n as_o they_o have_v not_o hear_v or_o at_o any_o time_n read_v of_o before_o he_o will_v create_v trouble_n to_o they_o certain_o if_o it_o be_v according_a to_o that_o word_n lam._n 3.33_o that_o the_o lord_n do_v not_o afflict_v willing_o nor_o grieve_v the_o child_n of_o man_n though_o they_o be_v but_o the_o child_n of_o man_n the_o lord_n do_v not_o easy_o afflict_v they_o not_o at_o every_o turn_n contend_v with_o they_o much_o less_o will_v he_o upon_o light_n and_o slight_a occasion_n contend_v with_o his_o own_o people_n and_o the_o choice_a of_o his_o own_o but_o when_o he_o find_v they_o under_o provocation_n he_o be_v please_v thus_o to_o break_v out_o against_o they_o observe_v that_o where_o you_o find_v god_n come_v out_o to_o cut_v off_o his_o people_n by_o a_o slaughter_a stroke_n you_o shall_v find_v some_o notable_a provocation_n be_v the_o procure_a cause_n it_o be_v not_o for_o against_o they_o to_o the_o slaughter_a of_o they_o and_o cut_v they_o down_o obj._n 1_o if_o any_o shall_v object_v here_o and_o say_v if_o the_o saint_n may_v be_v slaughter_v by_o and_o fall_v in_o common_a calamity_n what_o profit_n have_v the_o jew_n then_o and_o what_o advantage_n be_v there_o by_o circumcision_n what_o advantage_n have_v the_o saint_n above_o and_o beyond_o the_o sinner_n answ_n to_o that_o i_o answer_v he_o have_v advantage_n many_o way_n to_o name_v a_o few_o particular_n 1._o though_o one_o of_o god_n israel_n may_v fall_v by_o a_o slaughter_a judgement_n yet_o he_o
