people_n here_o speak_v of_o come_v say_v they_o let_v we_o join_v ourselves_o to_o the_o lord_n they_o find_v themselves_o to_o be_v behind_o and_o endeavour_v to_o work_v themselves_o up_o and_o to_o draw_v themselves_o and_o one_o another_o forward_o we_o must_v now_o draw_v to_o a_o close_a and_o shall_v therefore_o but_o touch_v the_o follow_a observation_n and_o pass_v they_o in_o a_o word_n five_o observe_v that_o in_o people_n covenant_v with_o god_n their_o desire_n and_o design_n will_v be_v much_o soon_o propose_v and_o lay_v down_o than_o they_o will_v be_v get_v accomplish_v and_o put_v inexecution_n or_o then_o they_o will_v win_v to_o satisfy_v themselves_o therein_o although_o a_o union_n be_v betwixt_o christ_n and_o they_o yet_o they_o be_v not_o satisfy_v till_o they_o be_v somewhat_o clear_a and_o distinct_a about_o it_o they_o be_v like_o the_o prodigal_n who_o be_v in_o another_o and_o strange_a country_n say_v first_o i_o will_v go_v than_o he_o arise_v and_o i_o will_v say_v to_o my_o father_n before_o he_o actual_o speak_v to_o his_o father_n himself_o call_v he_o father_n some_o real_a act_n of_o faith_n precede_v his_o more_o distinct_a ct_n satisfie_v act_v of_o it_o there_o be_v a_o faith_n in_o resolve_v to_o believe_v before_o there_o be_v a_o rest_n of_o faith_n or_o stay_v believe_v and_o yet_o it_o be_v faith_n that_o beget_v that_o same_o resolution_n if_o the_o prodigal_n have_v not_o have_v some_o faith_n of_o enough_o in_o his_o father_n house_n and_o of_o his_o father_n affection_n he_o will_v not_o have_v resolve_v to_o go_v home_o and_o these_o people_n mention_v here_o will_v not_o have_v set_v their_o face_n towards_o zion_n if_o they_o have_v not_o have_v some_o begin_a stir_n of_o faith_n six_o observe_v that_o it_o be_v a_o good_a token_n to_o be_v ask_v serious_o the_o way_n to_o heaven_n though_o the_o asker_n be_v not_o so_o clear_a in_o it_o there_o be_v some_o ground_n to_o think_v that_o such_o person_n be_v in_o the_o way_n and_o if_o they_o hold_v on_o and_o for_n low_a the_o direction_n of_o the_o word_n they_o may_v come_v thither_o it_o be_v far_o better_a to_o be_v dissatisfy_v and_o to_o ask_v the_o way_n than_o not_o to_o ask_v and_o yet_o to_o be_v satisfy_v with_o our_o own_o knowledge_n of_o the_o way_n seven_o observe_v that_o person_n may_v fall_v very_o far_o short_a of_o their_o desire_n and_o have_v much_o infirmity_n and_o may_v meet_v with_o many_o puzzle_v difficulty_n how_o to_o accomplish_v what_o they_o will_v be_v at_o yet_o where_o a_o serious_a and_o long_a desire_n be_v waken_v after_o covenant_v with_o god_n they_o shall_v go_v forward_o and_o follow_v it_o forth_o this_o people_n be_v short_a of_o what_o they_o desire_v and_o yet_o they_o go_v and_o they_o know_v not_o as_o it_o be_v where_o to_o set_v down_o the_o next_o fooâ—_n till_o they_o ask_v the_o way_n yet_o they_o go_v on_o still_o ask_v there_o be_v no_o dispute_v here_o but_o forward_o we_o shall_v go_v i_o suppose_v these_o here_o speak_v of_o may_v have_v have_v several_a difficulty_n start_v and_o several_a obstruction_n lay_v in_o their_o way_n yet_o on_o they_o go_v covenant_n second_o they_o may_v have_v think_v that_o it_o be_v a_o very_a long_a journey_n and_o that_o they_o will_v never_o be_v able_a to_o go_v through_o to_o the_o end_n of_o it_o beside_o that_o they_o be_v under_o the_o dominion_n of_o strange_a king_n who_o be_v heathen_n so_o it_o may_v be_v say_v on_o the_o matter_n and_o be_v often_o say_v to_o serious_a soul_n that_o will_v fain_o believe_v can_v you_o believe_v it_o will_v not_o be_v with_o you_o be_v you_o not_o under_o the_o foot_n of_o many_o tyrannous_a lust_n and_o how_o will_v you_o win_v free_a from_o they_o yet_o they_o resolve_v and_o must_v yea_o dare_v not_o but_o resolve_v to_o go_v forward_o and_o the_o reason_n be_v because_o they_o resolve_v to_o take_v with_o their_o guilt_n and_o to_o make_v use_n of_o the_o covenant_n for_o answer_v and_o silence_v of_o challenge_n and_o they_o resolve_v also_o if_o the_o journey_n be_v long_o to_o make_v use_n of_o the_o covenant_n for_o strength_n to_o make_v they_o hold_v on_o and_o hold_v out_o in_o it_o the_o weak_a believer_n when_o such_o doubt_n be_v start_v shall_v make_v use_n of_o the_o promise_n of_o the_o covenant_n such_o as_o these_o faithful_a be_v he_o who_o have_v call_v you_o who_o also_o will_v do_v it_o 1_o thess_n 5.24_o return_v back_o slide_a child_n and_o i_o will_v heal_v your_o backslide_n say_v the_o lord_n and_o
