they_o that_o be_v atteint_v never_o so_o little_a with_o ambitiousness_n which_o thing_n appear_v by_o the_o romish_a sort_n themselves_o he_o give_v they_o a_o very_a sore_a check_n and_o withdraw_v they_o from_o that_o desire_n of_o sovereignty_n beat_v lowliness_n into_o they_o &_o therewithal_o also_o maintain_v the_o right_a of_o the_o magistrate_n ordain_v of_o god_n and_o final_o commit_v the_o ministration_n of_o the_o word_n to_o his_o disciple_n without_o any_o hope_n or_o mention_v of_o sovereignty_n at_o all_o therefore_o when_o in_o the_o xvii_o of_o matthew_n peter_n have_v the_o lord_n to_o move_v they_o the_o more_o evident_o add_v his_o own_o example_n to_o his_o foresay_a commandment_n say_v like_a as_o the_o son_n of_o man_n be_v not_o come_v to_o be_v serve_v etc_n etc_n this_o be_v a_o notable_a say_n for_o it_o be_v as_o much_o as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v if_o i_o which_o be_o your_o lord_n and_o master_n and_o the_o live_n son_n of_o the_o live_a god_n to_o and_o king_n of_o king_n sue_v not_o for_o ne_o challenge_v not_o to_o myself_o any_o worldly_a pre-eminence_n upon_o earth_n as_o who_o be_o come_v into_o the_o earth_n to_o serve_v all_o man_n turn_n even_o with_o the_o loss_n of_o my_o life_n true_o you_o ought_v to_o be_v ashamed_a of_o it_o that_o you_o which_o be_v but_o wretched_a man_n and_o no_o better_a than_o thrall_n be_v notwithstanding_o not_o afraid_a to_o gape_v after_o sovereignty_n these_o thing_n these_o thing_n i_o say_v as_o dreadful_a thunderbolt_n not_o only_o shake_v but_o also_o turn_v upside_o down_o sovereignty_n and_o unmeasurable_a power_n which_o they_o say_v they_o receive_v of_o christ._n and_o whereas_o the_o lord_n utter_v these_o thing_n to_o his_o disciple_n once_o or_o twice_o very_o earnest_o and_o so_o forcible_o as_o they_o can_v not_o be_v utter_v more_o forcible_o yet_o have_v ambition_n and_o desire_n of_o prerogative_n take_v so_o deep_a root_n in_o the_o mind_n of_o the_o disciple_n accord_v to_o the_o corruption_n of_o man_n nature_n that_o at_o the_o lord_n last_o supper_n when_o they_o understand_v he_o shall_v depart_v out_o of_o this_o world_n they_o fall_v
