judgement_n of_o author_n both_o ancient_a and_o modern_a prove_v nothing_o it_o be_v know_v that_o the_o apostasy_n be_v enter_v timely_a into_o the_o church_n and_o have_v make_v so_o great_a a_o alteration_n and_o change_v from_o the_o primitive_a rule_n and_o power_n that_o although_o there_o be_v something_o like_o the_o truth_n yet_o the_o true_a form_n and_o power_n of_o truth_n be_v lose_v the_o lord_n help_v his_o people_n that_o in_o their_o come_n out_o they_o bring_v away_o none_o of_o babylon_n device_n with_o they_o which_o i_o great_o fear_v they_o be_v too_o much_o incline_v unto_o but_o to_o conclude_v this_o matter_n from_o all_o these_o consideration_n i_o must_v say_v that_o i_o dare_v not_o meddle_v with_o this_o have_v no_o authority_n from_o the_o lord_n for_o it_o i_o can_v do_v it_o in_o his_o name_n without_o his_o authority_n lest_o my_o act_n shall_v be_v of_o the_o same_o kind_n as_o those_o act._n 19_o 13_o to_o 16._o these_o thing_n have_v i_o seaventh-day_n sabbath_n other_o make_v a_o breach_n and_o separation_n about_o the_o seaventh-day_n sabbath_n suppose_v that_o to_o be_v the_o day_n and_o the_o only_a day_n command_v of_o god_n for_o gospel_n rest_v and_o worship_n and_o hence_o make_v a_o breach_n and_o separation_n from_o all_o that_o be_v not_o of_o their_o opinion_n in_o this_o matter_n and_o in_o what_o i_o shall_v offer_v to_o consideration_n in_o this_o case_n i_o shall_v not_o meddle_v to_o answer_v any_o man_n particular_a ground_n for_o it_o because_o it_o be_v not_o controversy_n i_o design_v but_o healing_n i_o shall_v to_o this_o end_n present_v some_o weighty_a consideration_n about_o this_o matter_n which_o if_o well_o weigh_v may_v if_o not_o answer_v all_o moderate_v the_o spirit_n of_o and_o controversy_n of_o zion_n of_o the_o church_n and_o o_o that_o it_o may_v be_v of_o healing_n use_v and_o as_o a_o medicine_n fit_o apply_v it_o be_v not_o a_o scriptureless_a peace_n i_o plead_v for_o but_o a_o just_a and_o lawful_a peace_n a_o christian_a peace_n not_o to_o throw_v church_n into_o confusion_n but_o that_o they_o may_v not_o confound_v each_o other_o that_o they_o may_v not_o bite_v and_o devour_v each_o other_o i_o have_v endeavour_v a_o answer_n to_o the_o most_o special_a thing_n in_o use_n at_o this_o day_n on_o which_o separation_n among_o church_n and_o christian_n be_v build_v my_o reason_n herein_a be_v not_o in_o the_o least_o to_o provoke_v but_o to_o moderate_v that_o so_o my_o design_a end_n herein_o may_v be_v accomplish_v viz._n that_o those_o who_o break_v on_o those_o ground_n may_v at_o least_o understand_v that_o there_o be_v matter_n of_o weight_n that_o sway_n with_o judgement_n and_o conscience_n with_o those_o who_o can_v act_v in_o something_n as_o they_o do_v which_o may_v tend_v to_o moderate_v their_o spirit_n in_o the_o matter_n and_o may_v come_v to_o see_v more_o cause_n to_o learn_v to_o bear_v with_o and_o forbear_v their_o brethren_n in_o love_n that_o if_o their_o
faith_n continue_v in_o such_o thing_n they_o may_v have_v it_o to_o themselves_o and_o not_o impose_v it_o on_o their_o brethren_n on_o term_n of_o separation_n i_o hope_v the_o sober-spirited_n will_v come_v to_o see_v the_o little_a ground_n they_o have_v to_o make_v breach_n with_o their_o brethren_n about_o these_o matter_n i_o hearty_o desire_v it_o may_v prove_v a_o healing-word_n to_o all_o through_o the_o blessing_n of_o he_o that_o have_v dwell_v in_o the_o burn_a bush_n so_o as_o that_o it_o be_v not_o yet_o consume_v i_o shall_v here_o give_v no_o further_o account_v of_o the_o infer_v from_o the_o premise_n that_o according_a to_o the_o rule_n of_o scripture_n and_o law_n of_o christ_n nothing_o shall_v prevent_v those_o that_o be_v unite_v in_o the_o faith_n and_o
understand_v it_o to_o intend_v in_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n as_o his_o ordinance_n and_o that_o 1._o because_o though_o the_o word_n in_o the_o lord_n and_o in_o christ_n do_v most_o intend_v in_o the_o faith_n &_o profession_n of_o the_o lord_n the_o word_n in_o the_o lord_n be_v never_o speak_v of_o a_o second_o person_n viz._n when_o it_o speak_v of_o any_o person_n do_v any_o act_n as_o in_o the_o lord_n it_o intend_v the_o same_o person_n and_o not_o another_o so_o when_o it_o speak_v of_o the_o woman_n marry_v in_o the_o lord_n it_o intend_v she_o own_o act_n and_o not_o the_o the_o way_n of_o marriage_n be_v to_o do_v it_o in_o the_o lord_n for_o the_o woman_n be_v of_o the_o man_n and_o the_o man_n be_v by_o the_o woman_n but_o both_o of_o god_n take_v and_o live_v together_o in_o the_o lord_n i._n e._n in_o lawful_a matrimony_n and_o not_o in_o adultery_n be_v to_o marry_v in_o the_o lord_n heb._n 13._o 4._o so_o eph._n 6._o 1._o child_n obey_v your_o parent_n in_o the_o lord_n it_o can_v import_v their_o parent_n in_o the_o church_n only_o than_o it_o will_v be_v a_o law_n of_o liberty_n and_o disobedience_n to_o parent_n out_o of_o the_o church_n but_o in_o the_o lord_n relate_v to_o the_o child_n themselves_o to_o do_v it_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n as_o his_o ordinance_n in_o all_o lawful_a and_o rightful_a thing_n whether_o their_o they_o who_o be_v only_o the_o child_n of_o this_o world_n do_v attain_v unto_o yet_o marriage_n both_o of_o good_a &_o bad_a be_v a_o worldly_n work_n &_o perform_v by_o the_o child_n of_o this_o world_n one_o with_o another_o to_o worldly-end_n as_o you_o may_v see_v gen._n 1._o 28._o &_o 2._o 18._o 1_o cor._n 7._o 2._o which_o end_v of_o marriage_n man_n &_o woman_n only_o as_o so_o be_v capable_a to_o perform_v neither_o can_v i_o be_v of_o the_o mind_n of_o those_o who_o judge_v such_o marriage_n to_o be_v positive_o unlawful_a and_o sinful_a and_o yet_o that_o it_o be_v unlawful_a be_v so_o and_o indeed_o some_o church-member_n become_v vile_a and_o wicked_a and_o worse_a relation_n than_o be_v ordinary_a among_o the_o worst_a of_o man_n which_o render_v the_o uncertainty_n of_o comfort_n to_o christian_n in_o their_o relation_n in_o this_o matter_n though_o both_o religious_o rational_o and_o ordinary_o it_o may_v be_v expect_v better_a yet_o i_o have_v see_v as_o
