for_o his_o sin_n and_o do_v thus_o and_o yet_o never_o shed_v a_o tear_n therefore_o a_o man_n may_v true_o repent_v without_o shed_v of_o tear_n for_o tear_n be_v not_o always_o a_o sign_n of_o time_n or_o other_o if_o god_n let_v he_o live_v any_o time_n have_v or_o shall_v in_o some_o measure_n shed_v tear_n for_o his_o sin_n ever_o except_v those_o man_n who_o their_o natural_a hard_a and_o dry_a temper_n of_o their_o eye_n disable_v perpetual_o from_o all_o tear_n 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d this_o conclusion_n i_o will_v first_o open_v and_o then_o in_o time_n confirm_v it_o now_o david_n meaning_n be_v not_o that_o there_o be_v none_o of_o the_o righteous_a experience_n or_o of_o their_o seed_n that_o do_v beg_v their_o bread_n but_o that_o it_o be_v a_o rare_a thing_n that_o he_o have_v not_o see_v it_o in_o his_o day_n or_o in_o a_o age_n so_o we_o may_v say_v of_o this_o point_n it_o may_v be_v a_o man_n may_v be_v true_o convert_v and_o yet_o never_o shed_v a_o tear_n in_o his_o life_n but_o it_o be_v a_o rare_a case_n no_o ordinary_a thing_n it_o be_v that_o which_o seldom_o fall_v out_o one_o of_o a_o thousand_o but_o that_o at_o one_o time_n or_o other_o they_o be_v so_o press_v with_o their_o sin_n again_o second_o i_o say_v that_o true_a tear_n be_v not_o to_o be_v command_v by_o we_o but_o be_v a_o effect_n of_o god_n grace_n wrought_v in_o man_n god_n three_o i_o say_v if_o god_n let_v he_o live_v any_o time_n in_o this_o world_n for_o a_o man_n may_v be_v take_v away_o immediate_o upon_o his_o conversion_n as_o the_o chief_a upon_o the_o cross_n and_o then_o as_o he_o want_v time_n for_o other_o christian_a duty_n so_o for_o this_o also_o but_o if_o god_n let_v a_o man_n continue_v any_o time_n then_o one_o occasion_n or_o other_o will_v bring_v he_o back_o to_o the_o behold_v of_o his_o sin_n cause_v he_o to_o afflict_v his_o thought_n repent_v thorough_o and_o so_o work_v tear_n out_o of_o he_o yea_o bitter_o to_o bewail_v beam_n shine_v and_o break_v in_o shutout_a upon_o they_o if_o one_o stop_v up_o the_o window_n and_o shut_v out_o all_o the_o comfortable_a beam_n there_o comfort_n be_v go_v even_o so_o it_o be_v when_o god_n bring_v the_o sweet_a beam_n of_o grace_n to_o shine_v in_o upon_o the_o conscience_n of_o a_o sinner_n impenitency_n put_v a_o bar_n against_o they_o and_o shut_v out_o all_o the_o light_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o of_o grace_n that_o shine_v into_o our_o heart_n so_o make_v all_o the_o mean_n of_o grace_n and_o of_o eternal_a life_n unprofitable_a and_o fruitless_a unto_o we_o wherefore_o with_o the_o holy_a prophet_n david_n we_o must_v beware_v of_o this_o feacefull_a estate_n that_o we_o may_v have_v boldness_n to_o say_v with_o he_o psal._n 66._o 18._o if_o i_o regard_v wrath_n upon_o wrath_n against_o the_o day_n of_o wrath_n so_o that_o i_o may_v true_o say_v with_o a_o learned_a man_n better_o be_v the_o great_a sinner_n in_o the_o world_n and_o to_o repent_v it_o
