how_o this_o come_v to_o pass_v be_v because_o it_o be_v never_o know_v that_o a_o bishop_n be_v try_v by_o the_o lord_n out_o of_o parliament_n and_o therefore_o they_o can_v try_v a_o lord_n out_o of_o parliament_n because_o they_o be_v not_o peer_n for_o the_o lord_n have_v never_o try_v any_o bishop_n but_o in_o parliament_n and_o that_o be_v always_o upon_o impeachment_n and_o not_o otherwise_o and_o upon_o a_o impeachment_n they_o may_v try_v other_o commoner_n as_o well_o as_o bishop_n beside_o this_o it_o be_v plain_a that_o the_o clergy_n even_o in_o the_o time_n of_o popery_n will_v not_o have_v to_o do_v with_o blood_n in_o any_o case_n whatsoever_o for_o when_o they_o engross_v all_o office_n and_o place_n of_o honour_n or_o profit_n you_o shall_v not_o find_v any_o bishop_n that_o be_v lord_n chief_a justice_n of_o the_o king_n bench_n or_o judge_n of_o any_o court_n where_o man_n life_n be_v to_o be_v meddle_v with_o and_o the_o clergy_n be_v not_o so_o ignorant_a or_o backward_o in_o their_o interest_n as_o to_o let_v slip_v such_o profitable_a place_n have_v it_o suit_v with_o their_o function_n i_o have_v often_o consider_v with_o myself_o what_o it_o be_v that_o have_v induce_v so_o many_o of_o the_o temporal_a lord_n to_o contend_v for_o the_o bishop_n in_o this_o case_n i_o can_v perceive_v but_o that_o it_o be_v against_o themselves_o less_o i_o can_v comprehend_v neither_o can_v any_o reason_n be_v assign_v but_o that_o which_o be_v obvious_a to_o every_o man_n thought_n that_o there_o be_v some_o secret_a power_n that_o govern_v their_o lordship_n in_o this_o affair_n but_o without_o doubt_v this_o powerful_a hand_n will_v not_o be_v able_a to_o turn_v the_o scale_n so_o very_o much_o if_o nobility_n have_v be_v bestow_v only_o on_o such_o as_o deserve_v honour_n but_o when_o interest_n prevail_v above_o merit_n no_o wonder_n that_o a_o word_n or_o a_o look_v do_v command_v so_o absolute_o and_o yet_o there_o be_v this_o to_o be_v say_v for_o the_o lord_n house_n that_o there_o be_v a_o great_a many_o lord_n who_o retain_v the_o worth_n and_o honour_n of_o their_o ancestor_n that_o notwithstanding_o be_v frown_v upon_o displace_v and_o all_o possible_a discouragement_n yet_o have_v they_o show_v themselves_o to_o be_v man_n of_o english_a principle_n that_o they_o will_v serve_v the_o king_n as_o englishman_n but_o will_v not_o give_v up_o any_o of_o their_o just_a right_n to_o please_v he_o if_o the_o bishop_n have_v never_o so_o clear_a a_o right_n in_o this_o matter_n the_o it_o be_v to_o
