refraction_n of_o the_o sunbeam_n defend_v a_o man_n from_o the_o broil_v heat_n of_o summer_n and_o refresh_v he_o with_o the_o cool_a air_n and_o also_o protect_v he_o from_o the_o violence_n of_o and_o adversity_n defend_v a_o man_n that_o neither_o the_o excess_n of_o the_o one_o nor_o extremity_n of_o the_o other_o shall_v overpower_v he_o but_o he_o so_o moderate_v both_o as_o that_o he_o keep_v himself_o clear_a and_o free_a in_o some_o good_a measure_n from_o the_o temptation_n and_o predominance_n of_o they_o both_o sapiens_fw-la dominabitur_fw-la actus_fw-la the_o wise_a man_n avoid_v by_o wisdom_n and_o money_n be_v a_o defence_n or_o shadow_n these_o word_n seem_v to_o be_v a_o answer_n to_o a_o objection_n thus_o wisdom_n indeed_o be_v good_a and_o a_o defence_n to_o a_o man_n but_o money_n also_o be_v needful_a and_o a_o present_a remedy_n for_o by_o money_n may_v a_o man_n ready_o obtain_v his_o desire_n and_o speedy_o avoid_v a_o evil_a for_o what_o favour_n can_v a_o man_n obtain_v by_o wisdom_n that_o can_v as_o well_o be_v obtain_v by_o money_n et_fw-la genus_fw-la &_o formam_fw-la etc._n etc._n it_o make_v the_o base_a honourable_a and_o the_o deform_a beautiful_a yea_o in_o another_o acception_n of_o the_o word_n it_o desine_v all_o thing_n ans_fw-fr it_o be_v true_a money_n be_v a_o defence_n also_o and_o may_v prevail_v much_o oft_o time_n and_o most_o in_o a_o corrupt_a state_n money_n make_v friend_n and_o add_v strength_n whereas_o otherwise_o a_o man_n
