love_v they_o and_o therefore_o this_o sacrament_n can_v avail_v he_o nothing_o it_o be_v but_o the_o annunciation_n of_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n and_o therefore_o it_o can_v save_v that_o sinner_n who_o the_o death_n of_o his_o lord_n do_v not_o avail_v it_o be_v a_o vain_a thing_n for_o such_o a_o sinner_n to_o take_v sanctuary_n here_o if_o there_o be_v not_o in_o our_o soul_n a_o this_o favour_n it_o be_v he_o that_o hate_v his_o sin_n and_o strive_v against_o it_o these_o be_v those_o who_o christ_n come_v to_o seek_v and_o save_v it_o be_v not_o the_o outward_a work_n will_v consider_v the_o effect_n and_o consequence_n of_o they_o they_o be_v more_o formidable_a and_o dismal_a than_o the_o rage_a pestilence_n or_o the_o loud_a clap_n of_o thunder_n let_v we_o then_o resolve_v as_o we_o love_v our_o soul_n or_o fear_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n to_o sin_v no_o more_o lest_o the_o worst_a of_o thing_n come_v upon_o we_o but_o let_v we_o thus_o judge_v that_o christ_n it_o be_v to_o eat_v of_o this_o bread_n and_o drink_n of_o this_o cup._n that_o duty_n be_v relative_a to_o this_o if_o we_o do_v that_o we_o be_v bind_v to_o do_v this_o also_o and_o though_o we_o shall_v neglect_v that_o yet_o will_v not_o that_o excuse_n our_o neglect_n of_o this_o any_o more_o than_o one_o fault_n be_v a_o just_a excuse_n for_o the_o commit_n of_o another_o i_o doubt_v not_o but_o that_o we_o do_v divers_a thing_n and_o think_v ourselves_o oblige_v to_o do_v they_o also_o from_o the_o law_n of_o christ_n for_o which_o we_o have_v no_o such_o clear_a command_n from_o the_o law_n of_o christ_n as_o we_o have_v for_o this_o and_o therefore_o certain_o if_o we_o do_v not_o this_o it_o be_v not_o for_o want_v of_o plain_a scripture_n that_o require_v it_o but_o for_o some_o other_o cause_n best_o know_v to_o god_n and_o our_o own_o conscience_n but_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n we_o may_v be_v ashamed_a to_o call_v christ_n lord_n lord_n and_o he_o may_v just_o upbraid_v we_o for_o it_o when_o we_o refuse_v to_o do_v whatsoever_o he_o command_v we_o luk._n 6.46_o let_v we_o not_o for_o shame_n call_v ourselves_o christians_o when_o we_o will_v not_o obey_v the_o law_n christ_n and_o be_v not_o much_o concern_v in_o the_o mean_a time_n and_o that_o because_o they_o do_v not_o transgress_v the_o law_n of_o nature_n though_o they_o do_v transgress_v the_o positive_a law_n of_o christ_n but_o these_o man_n ought_v to_o consider_v that_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n be_v not_o the_o adequate_a and_o full_a rule_n of_o their_o conscience_n they_o must_v also_o attend_v to_o the_o divine_a revelation_n and_o to_o the_o institution_n of_o christ_n this_o precept_n of_o partake_v of_o the_o communion_n be_v peculiarly_a the_o law_n of_o christ_n and_o to_o do_v this_o be_v the_o mark_n and_o badge_n of_o christian_n by_o do_v it_o we_o show_v who_o follower_n we_o be_v and_o we_o be_v particular_o oblige_v to_o do_v it_o as_o we_o do_v profess_v ourselves_o christian_n and_o the_o same_o authority_n that_o oblige_v we_o to_o the_o observance_n of_o any_o other_o law_n of_o christ_n do_v oblige_v we_o to_o do_v this_o also_o and_o therefore_o if_o we_o
