commandment_n aswell_o as_o he_o will_v by_o these_o other_o word_n this_o be_v my_o body_n declare_v what_o it_o be_v that_o we_o shall_v receive_v afterward_o wherefore_o as_o we_o do_v first_o gather_v a_o sure_a faith_n in_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n afterwards_o we_o do_v first_o gather_v faith_n in_o the_o remyssyon_n of_o all_o our_o sin_n by_o hear_n of_o the_o priest_n speak_v these_o ii_o sacrament_n be_v in_o this_o point_n both_o of_o one_o nature_n and_o not_o unlyke_a that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o water_n of_o baptism_n be_v a_o sacrament_n when_o these_o word_n be_v minister_v by_o it_o i_o baptise_v the_o in_o the_o name_n &_o ceterus_fw-la and_o the_o bread_n and_o wine_n be_v a_o sacrament_n when_o these_o word_n be_v minister_v by_o it_o of_o christ_n himself_o though_o yet_o by_o the_o mouth_n of_o a_o minister_fw-fr appoint_a take_v eat_v this_o be_v my_o body_n &_o ceterus_fw-la take_v drink_n this_o be_v my_o blood_n etc._n etc._n and_o do_v this_o in_o the_o remembrance_n of_o i_o wherefore_o they_o be_v nether_a of_o they_o sacrament_n but_o when_o they_o be_v in_o minister_a of_o the_o word_n which_o christ_n appoint_v to_o they_o although_o the_o pope_n will_v have_v that_o bread_n which_o have_v be_v once_o at_o the_o holy_a souper_n to_o be_v hang_v up_o and_o bear_v about_o in_o procession_n as_o a_o sacrament_n for_o to_o maintain_v therewith_o all_o this_o abuse_n that_o it_o may_v be_v corporal_o worshyp_v as_o though_o that_o shall_v be_v more_o to_o the_o honour_v of_o the_o sacrament_n then_o to_o have_v it_o offer_v to_o be_v receyve_v spiritual_o let_v every_o good_a christian_a man_n judge_v this_o by_o the_o word_n of_o god_n ¶_o but_o thou_o say_v if_o the_o hang_v up_o of_o the_o sacrament_n and_o the_o bear_n of_o it_o about_o for_o to_o be_v corporal_o worshyp_v shall_v be_v lay_v a_o side_n as_o a_o abuse_n so_o shall_v we_o condemn_v therewith_o as_o manifest_a ydolatrer_n both_o all_o they_o that_o have_v so_o worshyp_v it_o without_o the_o receyve_n and_o they_o also_o that_o do_v so_o worshyppe_n it_o yet_o in_o other_o countries_n ¶_o the_o answer_n though_o the_o worshyp_v of_o it_o as_o it_o have_v be_v use_v shall_v be_v lay_v a_o side_n as_o a_o abuse_n yet_o be_v there_o not_o therewithal_o condemn_v all_o the_o people_n that_o have_v do_v or_o do_v yet_o wourshyppe_n it_o so_o in_o other_o countries_n but_o therewithal_o be_v conden_v this_o abuse_n that_o man_n shall_v not_o hold_v take_v and_o receive_v this_o holy_a sacrament_n as_o christ_n have_v ordain_v it_o to_o be_v take_v to_o the_o strengthen_n of_o their_o faith_n in_o he_o both_o for_o their_o sin_n past_a &_o for_o the_o receyve_a of_o his_o grace_n to_o amend_v they_o again_o but_o to_o show_v it_o to_o hang_v it_o up_o and_o to_o bear_v it_o about_o to_o have_v it_o corporal_o worshyp_v only_o which_o kind_n of_o honour_v it_o with_o out_o the_o receyve_n thereof_o as_o the_o lord_n have_v make_v not_o mention_v of_o it_o neither_o by_o word_n nor_o deed_n in_o all_o his_o holy_a scripture_n and_o do_v therefore_o serve_v to_o the_o vain_a trust_n in_o the_o invencyon_n of_o man_n so_o have_v he_o forboden_v it_o as_o a_o thing_n most_o abominable_a in_o his_o sight_n this_o abuse_n be_v to_o be_v condemn_v although_o we_o do_v not_o therewith_o condemn_v the_o hole_n church_n of_o christ_n that_o either_o have_v or_o do_v yet_o abide_v in_o the_o same_o unwittinglye_o for_o as_o many_o of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n as_o have_v or_o do_v yet_o
the_o church_n of_o christ_n to_o descrybe_n some_o godly_a form_n and_o manner_n of_o geve_a instruction_n unto_o the_o people_n before_o they_o come_v unto_o the_o receyve_a of_o so_o high_a a_o mysterye_n order_fw-fr the_o church_n that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o devoute_a people_n both_o of_o the_o magistrate_n and_o clergye_a in_o everye_o country_n shall_v provyde_v for_o they_o self_n that_o all_o thing_n be_v do_v after_o a_o decent_a order_fw-fr and_o of_o render_a thanks_n unto_o god_n for_o it_o after_o they_o have_v receyve_v it_o wherefore_o this_o be_v the_o hole_n authority_n and_o power_n that_o the_o church_n have_v in_o the_o word_n and_o sacrament_n and_o other_o of_o god_n ordynaunce_n that_o they_o may_v thus_o and_o shall_v with_o all_o their_o diligence_n both_o aswell_o the_o prince_n and_o magistrate_n they_o self_n as_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o word_n order_fw-fr and_o dyspose_v they_o so_o in_o time_n place_n measure_n and_o manner_n that_o the_o people_n thereby_o may_v not_o only_o have_v the_o more_o devotion_n to_o use_v they_o with_o all_o fear_n and_o reverence_n but_o also_o come_v the_o better_a to_o the_o same_o end_n and_o purpose_n of_o they_o that_o they_o be_v ordain_v for_o of_o god_n pray_v the_o church_n have_v no_o authority_n to_o take_v away_o any_o of_o the_o sacrament_n no_o more_o than_o it_o can_v forbid_v we_o to_o fast_o or_o pray_v but_o to_o change_v they_o unto_o any_o other_o fashyon_n as_o this_o sacrament_n be_v change_v from_o the_o corporal_n receive_v of_o it_o into_o a_o lokinge_n glass_n or_o to_o leave_v they_o utter_o undo_v like_a as_o man_n have_v leave_v the_o receive_n of_o the_o cup_n in_o the_o holy_a souper_n that_o authorite_n have_v no_o man_n till_o christ_n which_o be_v the_o end_n that_o they_o lead_v we_o unto_o come_v himself_o for_o it_o can_v be_v call_v no_o right_n order_v or_o dyspose_v of_o the_o sacrament_n to_o the_o increase_n of_o any_o godliness_n amongst_o the_o people_n for_o to_o take_v they_o clean_o away_o no_o more_o than_o it_o can_v be_v call_v a_o right_a order_n of_o our_o prayer_n to_o say_v we_o will_v pray_v true_o with_o our_o herte_n though_o we_o do_v wilful_o leave_v out_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o mouth_n also_o wherefore_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v a_o abuse_n to_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n in_o one_o kind_n only_o other_o wise_a than_o god_n have_v ordain_v it_o moreover_o that_o we_o ought_v to_o receyve_v this_o sacrament_n in_o both_o kynde_n may_v well_o be_v perceyve_v in_o that_o the_o lord_n himself_o after_o he_o have_v take_v the_o cup_n into_o his_o hand_n give_v thanks_n &_o reach_v it_o unto_o his_o disciple_n do_v &_o that_o with_o great_a ferventness_n and_o with_o more_o plain_n and_o comfortable_a word_n express_v our_o redemtion_n and_o communion_n in_o he_o by_o the_o cup_n than_o he_o do_v by_o the_o bread_n or_o by_o any_o other_o sacrament_n for_o at_o baptyme_o he_o command_v no_o more_o to_o be_v say_v then_o i_o baptise_v the_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o father_n the_o son_n and_o the_o holy_a goost_n and_o at_o the_o minister_a of_o the_o bread_n of_o thanks_n geve_v no_o more_o then_o take_v eat_v this_o be_v my_o body_n which_o shall_v be_v give_v for_o you_o but_o at_o the_o minister_a of_o the_o cup_n he_o say_v &_o command_v other_o in_o his_o name_n to_o say_v take_v drink_n this_o cup_n be_v the_o new_a testament_n in_o my_o blood_n which_o shall_v be_v shed_v for_o you_o and_o for_o many_o unto_o the_o remission_n of_o sin_n behold_v good_a reader_n how_o comfortable_a a_o gospel_n our_o saviour_n christ_n have_v ordain_v this_o sacrament_n of_o wine_n to_o express_v wherefore_o it_o may_v well_o be_v call_v the_o most_o holy_a and_o comfortable_a sacrament_n of_o all_o other_o sacrament_n the_o cup_n be_v the_o most_o comfortable_a sacrament_n for_o sing_v it_o be_v the_o word_n when_o it_o be_v mynistre_v by_o the_o creature_n that_o make_v the_o creature_n to_o be_v a_o sacrament_n so_o do_v it_o doubtless_o follow_v that_o so_o much_o the_o more_o comfortable_a as_o the_o word_n be_v when_o they_o be_v minister_v so_o much_o the_o great_a be_v the_o sacrament_n that_o minister_v they_o and_o therefore_o no_o christian_a man_n yea_o no_o angel_n from_o heaven_n ought_v to_o have_v take_v away_o from_o the_o weak_a &_o sinful_a flock_n of_o christ_n this_o most_o comfortable_a sacrament_n special_o sing_v the_o lord_n himself_o command_v it_o to_o be_v use_v also_o with_o so_o great_a ferventness_n wherefore_o he_o that_o will_v with_o hold_v this_o sacrament_n of_o wine_n from_o the_o people_n in_o the_o holy_a souper_fw-fr shall_v as_o much_o as_o in_o he_o lie_v keep_v from_o theym_a the_o ministration_n of_o this_o holy_a gospel_n that_o christ_n have_v shed_v his_o most_o precyous_a blood_n for_o they_o for_o although_o we_o do_v in_o deed_n receive_v even_o the_o same_o thing_n before_o by_o the_o bread_n when_o it_o do_v minister_fw-fr unto_o we_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n that_o we_o do_v afterward_o when_o we_o receyve_v the_o cup_n which_o minister_v unto_o we_o his_o blood_n yet_o as_o he_o that_o lose_v the_o profit_n of_o they_o both_o again_o which_o will_v not_o for_o all_o this_o geve_v himself_o with_o all_o diligence_n unto_o fast_a prayer_n almosse_a dede_n and_o all_o other_o godly_a exercyse_n but_o wilful_o follow_v the_o work_n of_o the_o flesh_n so_o do_v he_o lose_v the_o profit_n that_o he_o have_v receyve_v before_o by_o the_o bread_n which_o minister_v unto_o he_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n that_o wylfullye_o will_v refuse_v to_o receyve_v the_o wine_n which_o shall_v also_o minister_v unto_o he_o his_o blood_n wherefore_o if_o it_o be_v a_o abuse_n to_o neglect_v god_n commandment_n when_o oportunite_v serve_v we_o to_o obey_v the_o same_o than_o must_v it_o needs_o be_v a_o great_a abuse_n to_o refuse_v the_o receyve_n of_o the_o holy_a cup_n of_o thanks_n geve_v when_o it_o be_v minister_v in_o the_o holy_a souper_fw-fr but_o because_o man_n shall_v not_o so_o great_o pass_v upon_o the_o true_a receyve_n of_o this_o holy_a sacrament_n of_o the_o body_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n either_o in_o one_o kind_n or_o in_o both_o the_o pope_n be_v wont_a to_o bring_v in_o this_o argument_n chief_o ¶_o this_o sacrament_n of_o the_o body_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n say_v he_o may_v aswell_o be_v receyve_v spiritual_o by_o calling_n to_o remembrance_n that_o christ_n have_v dye_v for_o we_o when_o we_o do_v but_o look_v upon_o it_o as_o it_o may_v be_v outwarde_o though_o we_o shall_v receyve_v it_o once_o in_o the_o year_n outwarde_o also_o ¶_o the_o answer_n to_o say_v that_o the_o sacrament_n may_v aswell_o be_v receyve_v spiritual_o as_o it_o may_v be_v corporallye_o or_o outwardlye_o must_v needs_o be_v a_o wonderful_a say_n for_o turn_v it_o what_o way_n you_o will_v and_o it_o shall_v be_v yet_o holy_a against_o christ_n &_o his_o manifest_a commandment_n for_o if_o you_o understande_v by_o the_o spiritual_a receyve_a of_o this_o sacrament_n that_o it_o must_v be_v receyve_v in_o true_a faith_n spiritual_o the_o sacrament_n be_v institute_v to_o be_v receyve_v both_o corporal_o and_o spiritual_o but_o yet_o corporal_o also_o then_o be_v that_o the_o only_a receyve_n of_o it_o accord_v to_o god_n spiritual_a ordinance_n and_o none_o other_o but_o if_o you_o understande_v your_o say_n of_o such_o a_o spiritual_a receyve_n of_o this_o sacra_fw-la as_o be_v with_o out_o the_o corporal_a receyve_n of_o it_o also_o so_o can_v not_o that_o be_v the_o receyve_n of_o it_o according_a to_o god_n spiritual_a ordinance_n for_o he_o give_v the_o bread_n unto_o his_o disciple_n and_o command_v they_o to_o take_v and_o eat_v it_o &_o that_o corporal_o also_o and_o in_o like_a manner_n give_v he_o they_o the_o cup_n to_o drink_v and_o therefore_o as_o it_o be_v manifest_o against_o the_o commandment_n of_o christ_n to_o make_v a_o gaze_v stock_n of_o the_o sacrament_n &_o not_o to_o receive_v it_o in_o say_v thou_o can_v call_v asmuch_o to_o mind_n when_o thou_o do_v but_o see_v it_o as_o the_o lord_n have_v ordain_v to_o put_v into_o thy_o mind_n by_o the_o corporal_a receyve_n of_o it_o after_o his_o most_o love_a and_o spiritual_a institution_n so_o be_v there_o no_o spiritual_a receyve_n of_o this_o sacrament_n but_o to_o take_v it_o corporal_o with_o such_o a_o spirit_n and_o faith_n as_o styr_v we_o both_o to_o repentance_n for_o our_o sin_n past_a be_v to_o receyve_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n in_o the_o sacrament_n when_o we_o receyve_v it_o corporal_o what_o it_o be_v and_o also_o to_o amend_v they_o again_o by_o the_o humble_a follow_v of_o his_o law_n and_o yet_o for_o the_o mayntenaunce_n of_o a_o spiritual_a receyve_n
there_o may_v and_o shall_v receyve_v it_o whosoever_o of_o a_o pure_a herte_fw-la and_o good_a devotion_n do_v desire_v it_o must_v needs_o be_v grant_v but_o to_o desire_v it_o with_o a_o pure_a heart_n and_o good_a devotion_n can_v doubtless_o be_v none_o other_o thing_n than_o to_o desire_v it_o accord_v to_o the_o ordinance_n and_o institution_n of_o the_o lord_n now_o be_v it_o very_o the_o institution_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o the_o faithful_a shall_v in_o common_a and_o be_v gather_v together_o receyve_v it_o one_o with_o a_o other_o as_o the_o lord_n do_v hold_v it_o himself_o at_o the_o first_o and_o command_v it_o of_o other_o to_o be_v hold_v like_v as_o saint_n paul_n well_o witness_v and_o conclude_v upon_o this_o that_o it_o be_v not_o the_o hold_n of_o the_o lord_n souper_n when_o it_o be_v not_o keep_v in_o common_a but_o every_o company_n for_o itself_o whereupon_o he_o learn_v and_o exhort_v the_o corinthian_n do_v the_o contrary_n to_o tarry_v one_o for_o can_v not_o come_v unto_o the_o church_n therefore_o ought_v the_o church_n through_o certain_a of_o their_o minister_n and_o membre_n to_o come_v unto_o they_o and_o so_o to_o hold_v a_o communion_n with_o they_o at_o home_n in_o their_o own_o house_n rather_o than_o so_o godly_a a_o ordinance_n shall_v be_v break_v but_o if_o it_o shall_v so_o chance_v that_o this_o ordinance_n of_o receyve_a the_o sacra_fw-la one_o with_o another_o in_o common_a can_v not_o so_o be_v keep_v for_o lack_v of_o time_n and_o person_n conveniente_a two_o christ_n himself_o show_v a_o ensample_n of_o this_o in_o heal_v a_o such_fw-mi man_n upon_o the_o sabbothe_a day_n mar._n two_o than_o may_v the_o minister_fw-fr dyspence_n with_o this_o ordinance_n in_o time_n of_o necessity_n and_o prefer_v the_o souper_n of_o the_o lord_n pryvate_o for_o themselves_o in_o their_o oratory_n which_o be_v little_a chapelle_n in_o their_o house_n when_o they_o can_v not_o have_v the_o people_n to_o gether_o to_o the_o sacrament_n and_o have_v yet_o a_o good_a devotion_n to_o hold_v the_o holy_a souper_fw-fr though_o not_o alone_o but_o with_o their_o devout_a brethren_n like_a as_o we_o may_v rede_n of_o saint_n vlrichus_n and_o other_o holy_a father_n and_o godly_a byshoppe_n which_o have_v their_o private_a mass_n in_o their_o own_o house_n but_o not_o without_o communicantes_fw-la wherefore_o see_v it_o be_v the_o ordinance_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o we_o shall_v hold_v the_o holy_a souper_n one_o with_o another_o in_o common_a as_o paul_n well_o witness_v and_o that_o it_o have_v be_v always_o use_v to_o be_v hold_v so_o of_o the_o most_o holy_a martyr_n confessor_n and_o other_o godly_a father_n till_o now_o of_o late_a it_o can_v be_v no_o good_a devotion_n to_o desire_v to_o receyve_v with_o he_o now_o be_v it_o true_a also_o that_o there_o be_v mention_v make_v in_o the_o old_a doctor_n both_o of_o the_o greek_n and_o latin_n that_o the_o people_n use_v in_o their_o day_n to_o receyve_v the_o sacrament_n some_o at_o easter_n only_o some_o twice_o or_o thrice_o in_o the_o year_n and_o some_o often_o but_o very_o few_o daily_a where_o the_o mass_n be_v yet_o daily_o observe_v but_o yet_o can_v not_o this_o prove_v than_z t_o man_n have_v keep_v the_o souper_n of_o the_o lord_n with_o out_o communicantes_fw-la and_o that_o in_o every_o corner_n of_o the_o church_n like_a as_o we_o have_v do_v for_o there_o be_v always_o some_o good_a devoute_a people_n besides_o the_o clerk_n and_o scholar_n which_o be_v they_o many_o in_o everi_n church_n that_o tend_v upon_o the_o ministration_n of_o the_o sacrament_n that_o will_v receive_v it_o together_o with_o the_o priest_n and_o less_o any_o shall_v doubt_v of_o this_o i_o shall_v manifest_o prove_v it_o to_o have_v be_v so_o ¶_o a_o plain_a declaration_n out_o of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n and_o of_o the_o use_n of_o the_o primative_a church_n that_o there_o shall_v no_o mass_n be_v hold_v wherein_o the_o souper_n a_o token_n also_o of_o have_v he_o in_o honour_n &_o reverence_n now_o aswell_o as_o it_o be_v they_o both_o to_o prepare_v a_o honest_a place_n &_o instrument_n convenient_a for_o the_o better_a use_v of_o his_o
argument_n and_o reason_n as_o they_o appear_v outward_o but_o also_o certain_a place_n and_o ensample_n of_o the_o scripture_n for_o the_o same_o and_o so_o thus_o he_o say_v for_o to_o prove_v that_o we_o shall_v continual_o honour_n this_o sacrament_n with_o hand_n and_o knee_n whether_o we_o do_v inward_o worshyppe_n it_o or_o no._n ¶_o in_o this_o sacrament_n there_o be_v present_v the_o body_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n and_o therefore_o ought_v we_o to_o wourshyppe_n it_o with_o hand_n and_o knee_n whether_o we_o do_v strengthen_v our_o faith_n by_o the_o corporal_a receyve_a of_o it_o or_o no._n ¶_o the_o answer_n christ_n say_v that_o he_o and_o the_o father_n will_v be_v so_o present_a with_o they_o that_o keep_v his_o commandment_n xiiii_o john_n xiiii_o that_o they_o will_v both_o come_v and_o dwell_v with_o they_o and_o saint_n paul_n say_v also_o that_o the_o lord_n christ_n dwell_v through_o faith_n in_o the_o herte_n of_o the_o elect_a iii._n eph._n iii._n ordinance_n and_o yet_o we_o can_v not_o receyve_v it_o with_o the_o worshyp_a of_o it_o with_o hand_n and_o knee_n only_o but_o specyal_o we_o must_v first_o wourshyppe_n it_o with_o the_o hand_n and_o knee_n of_o our_o faith_n like_a as_o we_o do_v only_o receyve_v and_o feel_v he_o present_v there_o with_o the_o mouth_n of_o our_o faith_n the_o presence_n of_o christ_n body_n and_o blood_n in_o this_o sacrament_n be_v a_o heavenly_a work_n that_o be_v to_o say_v it_o be_v wrought_v into_o we_o by_o the_o sprite_n of_o god_n only_o and_o through_o the_o declare_v of_o the_o goodness_n and_o meryte_n of_o christ_n passion_n and_o be_v no_o work_n of_o this_o world_n that_o he_o be_v present_a to_o be_v give_v we_o there_o and_o therefore_o when_o we_o will_v either_o receyve_v or_o worshyppe_n it_o there_o corda_fw-la by_o the_o sacrament_n we_o must_v sing_v sursum_fw-la corda_fw-la we_o must_v first_o sing_v thus_o with_o the_o church_n sursum_fw-la corda_fw-la et_fw-la non_fw-la huc_fw-la corda_fw-la that_o be_v to_o say_v we_o must_v first_o lyfte_v up_o our_o herte_n above_o all_o that_o can_v be_v feel_v or_o see_v in_o it_o &_o through_o faith_n lie_v hand_n upon_o the_o goodness_n of_o christ_n in_o consider_v this_o sacra_fw-la to_o be_v a_o plain_a promise_n which_o do_v most_o certain_o witness_v &_o show_v his_o passion_n to_o have_v pacify_v so_o faith_n as_o no_o man_n can_v have_v that_o intend_v not_o to_o receyve_v it_o when_o so_o ever_o it_o be_v minister_v unto_o he_o even_o so_o can_v there_o no_o man_n worshyppe_n this_o sacrament_n a_o right_a with_o hand_n and_o knee_n that_o do_v not_o receyve_v it_o also_o wherefore_o although_o true_a faith_n bring_v well_o to_o pass_v forth_o what_o outward_a worship_n true_a faith_n bring_v forth_o that_o we_o by_o this_o most_o holy_a ministration_n do_v oftentimes_o fall_v down_o upon_o out_o knee_n and_o lift_v up_o our_o hand_n either_o when_o we_o hear_v these_o most_o wholesome_a word_n of_o the_o lord_n take_v eat_v this_o be_v my_o body_n which_o shall_v be_v give_v for_o you_o take_v drink_v you_o all_o out_o of_o this_o this_o cup_n be_v the_o new_a sacrament_n either_o when_o it_o be_v show_v hang_v up_o or_o bear_v about_o or_o to_o do_v it_o any_o kind_n of_o reverence_n when_o it_o be_v lyft_v up_o &_o yet_o not_o to_o receyve_v it_o accord_v to_o christ_n ordinance_n that_o doubtless_o can_v not_o only_o be_v gather_v out_o of_o no_o word_n of_o god_n but_o be_v also_o plain_a against_o the_o same_o where_o it_o say_v take_v eat_v etc._n etc._n take_v and_o drink_v for_o what_o we_o must_v forthwyth_o as_o it_o be_v mynistre_v unto_o we_o eat_v and_o drink_v corporal_o to_o the_o strengthening_n of_o our_o faith_n and_o to_o the_o stir_v up_o of_o all_o godliness_n in_o we_o that_o may_v we_o not_o think_v to_o receyve_v by_o the_o sing_v of_o it_o when_o it_o be_v lyft_v up_o or_o carry_v about_o wherefore_o it_o can_v not_o be_v the_o true_a honour_v of_o christ_n in_o this_o sacrament_n but_o rather_o a_o despise_v of_o his_o goodness_n to_o go_v about_o to_o amend_v and_o change_v his_o ordinance_n in_o it_o after_o our_o blind_a reason_n in_o say_v we_o will_v honour_n he_o in_o it_o when_o we_o will_v not_o receyve_v it_o and_o therefore_o to_o knee_n down_o before_o the_o sacrament_n lyft_v up_o hand_n &_o eye_n towards_o it_o either_o when_o it_o be_v in_o minister_a or_o otherwise_o show_v of_o the_o which_o kind_n of_o honoringe_v it_o either_o christ_n nor_o his_o apostle_n have_v any_o thing_n teach_v and_o yet_o not_o to_o receive_v it_o according_a to_o his_o ordinance_n a_o thing_n which_o the_o lord_n command_v to_o be_v do_v with_o all_o diligence_n can_v be_v nothing_o else_o than_o a_o vain_a worship_v of_o he_o in_o it_o with_o the_o doctrine_n of_o man_n as_o i_o shall_v plain_o prove_v by_o this_o argument_n it_o be_v all_o a_o vain_a worshyppinge_n of_o christ_n in_o this_o his_o holy_a sacrament_n when_o we_o will_v not_o humble_o and_o with_o all_o faithful_a obedience_n receyve_v the_o gift_n and_o benefit_n which_o he_o offer_v we_o by_o the_o mynistration_n of_o these_o word_n in_o it_o take_v eat_v take_v and_o drink_v but_o they_o do_v not_o worshyppe_n christ_n a_o right_a with_o the_o humble_a receyvinge_n of_o the_o benefit_n which_o he_o present_v unto_o they_o by_o the_o mynistration_n of_o these_o word_n that_o will_v not_o take_v eat_v and_o drink_v this_o sacrament_n after_o his_o ordinance_n when_o he_o command_v they_o to_o do_v it_o and_o therefore_o all_o the_o worshyp_v of_o christ_n in_o the_o sacrament_n without_o the_o humble_a and_o faithful_a receyve_n of_o it_o also_o after_o his_o ordinance_n be_v but_o a_o vain_a worshyp_v of_o he_o in_o it_o and_o the_o doctrine_n of_o man_n beside_o this_o to_o worship_n christ_n in_o the_o sacrament_n with_o hand_n and_o knee_n and_o yet_o not_o to_o receyve_v it_o after_o his_o ordinance_n what_o other_o thing_n may_v it_o show_v else_o than_o that_o we_o will_v enclose_v christ_n our_o lord_n in_o the_o bread_n comprehensyblye_o bind_v he_o so_o unto_o it_o and_o bring_v he_o therewith_o into_o a_o earthe_o live_v and_o be_v again_o be_v to_o worshyppe_n christ_n a_o right_a in_o this_o sacrament_n what_o it_o be_v where_o we_o shall_v yet_o lift_v up_o our_o self_n by_o and_o by_o as_o it_o be_v present_v from_o the_o vysyble_a sign_n to_o the_o invysyblye_o grace_v which_o it_o do_v sygnifye_v and_o from_o the_o earthe_o ministration_n of_o it_o to_o the_o heavenly_a goodness_n of_o he_o that_o ordain_v it_o to_o be_v minister_v and_o so_o worship_n in_o it_o christ_n our_o lord_n in_o spirit_n and_o truth_n that_o be_v to_o say_v most_o inwardly_o and_o hearty_o remember_v then_o the_o goodness_n of_o our_o saviour_n jesu_n christ_n which_o will_v show_v we_o by_o it_o that_o his_o passion_n have_v so_o pacyfy_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n for_o our_o sin_n that_o it_o do_v continual_o purchase_v we_o the_o remyssion_n of_o they_o all_o and_o free_o offer_v and_o present_v unto_o we_o therefore_o by_o this_o sacrament_n the_o grace_n and_o good_a will_n of_o god_n for_o to_o help_v we_o both_o to_o believe_v sure_o in_o it_o &_o also_o to_o amend_v our_o life_n again_o the_o which_o faith_n as_o i_o have_v say_v as_o no_o can_v have_v true_o which_o be_v not_o by_o &_o by_o ready_a to_o receyve_v after_o christ_n ordinance_n his_o holy_a sacrament_n &_o that_o with_o all_o humble_a reverence_n both_o of_o body_n and_o mind_n as_o soon_o as_o it_o
in_o of_o late_a which_o be_v utter_o unknowen_a to_o they_o of_o the_o old_a tyme._n the_o which_o kind_n of_o honour_v can_v as_o little_a stand_v with_o the_o pleasure_n of_o god_n in_o this_o sacrament_n which_o command_v we_o to_o take_v eat_v and_o drink_v it_o as_o can_v the_o honour_v of_o the_o brazen_a serpent_n with_o hand_n &_o knee_n after_o they_o have_v leave_v out_o and_o forget_v the_o remembrance_n of_o it_o that_o god_n have_v ordain_v it_o to_o present_v and_o geve_v unto_o they_o ¶_o but_o thou_o say_v when_o i_o see_v the_o sacrament_n either_o lyft_v up_o in_o the_o mass_n or_o set_v forth_o by_o any_o other_o mean_n i_o can_v the_o better_o call_v to_o remembrance_n by_o it_o the_o merciful_a help_n of_o god_n which_o be_v universal_o present_a and_o therefore_o it_o be_v good_a to_o see_v the_o sacrament_n at_o all_o time_n and_o to_o worship_v it_o though_o we_o do_v not_o receive_v it_o ¶_o the_o answer_n first_o for_o asmuch_o as_o christ_n have_v not_o ordain_v this_o sacrament_n to_o put_v we_o in_o any_o godly_a remembrance_n but_o by_o the_o eat_n and_o drynk_n of_o it_o at_o a_o holy_a souper_fw-fr so_o ought_v we_o not_o to_o say_v that_o we_o can_v the_o better_o call_v to_o remembrance_n the_o goodness_n of_o god_n by_o the_o sing_v of_o it_o then_o by_o the_o corporal_a receyve_n of_o it_o nether_a be_v it_o to_o be_v take_v for_o the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o body_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n but_o for_o one_o of_o his_o good_a creature_n except_o it_o do_v put_v we_o in_o remembrance_n of_o his_o body_n &_o blood_n after_o his_o own_o ordinance_n and_o second_o to_o worship_n a_o creature_n with_o hand_n and_o knee_n be_v not_o enough_o to_o say_v thou_o will_v when_o thou_o see_v it_o call_v to_o remembrance_n the_o universal_a help_n of_o god_n but_o we_o must_v be_v sure_a also_o that_o the_o creature_n be_v ordain_v of_o god_n himself_o for_o to_o put_v we_o in_o such_o a_o remembrance_n for_o a_o man_n and_o special_o a_o godly_a man_n be_v the_o excellent_a creature_n to_o put_v we_o in_o remembrance_n of_o the_o goodness_n of_o god_n that_o may_v be_v either_o in_o heaven_n or_o in_o earth_n the_o sun_n the_o moon_n &_o all_o manner_n of_o beast_n upon_o earth_n be_v the_o precious_a work_n of_o god_n and_o the_o very_a ymage_n of_o his_o godly_a power_n which_o do_v manifestlye_o show_v forth_o also_o his_o wonderful_a wisdom_n and_o goodness_n at_o all_o time_n like_v as_o he_o wytness_v himself_o in_o his_o word_n and_o yet_o so_o far_o be_v it_o of_o that_o we_o shall_v therefore_o worship_n any_o of_o these_o his_o creature_n that_o it_o be_v plain_o forboden_v by_o his_o holy_a word_n ¶_o thou_o say_v further_a peradventure_o why_o do_v we_o then_o worship_n our_o parent_n prince_n and_o magistrate_n with_o cap_n and_o knee_n sing_v they_o be_v but_o creature_n ¶_o the_o answer_n these_o person_n be_v appoint_v of_o god_n to_o teach_v we_o to_o follow_v the_o law_n of_o christ_n yea_o and_o to_o put_v we_o in_o remembrance_n of_o the_o same_o with_o corporal_a punyshmente_n if_o we_o do_v not_o follow_v their_o instruction_n and_o therefore_o we_o be_v bind_v to_o be_v both_o obedient_a to_o all_o their_o good_a ordinance_n and_o also_o to_o show_v the_o same_o obedience_n towards_o their_o person_n with_o the_o humble_a uncover_a of_o our_o head_n with_o the_o knel_v down_o unto_o they_o or_o such_o like_a according_a to_o the_o use_n and_o manner_n of_o every_o country_n but_o god_n have_v not_o appoint_v the_o sacrament_n of_o his_o body_n and_o blood_n to_o be_v worshyp_v for_o any_o thing_n that_o we_o can_v call_v to_o remembrance_n by_o it_o but_o when_o we_o do_v receyve_v the_o same_o remembrance_n by_o it_o which_o he_o have_v appoint_v to_o geve_v unto_o we_o by_o the_o corporal_a eat_n and_o drynk_v of_o it_o and_o therefore_o sing_v god_n have_v not_o appoint_v it_o to_o put_v we_o in_o any_o remembrance_n of_o his_o power_n or_o goodness_n by_o the_o sing_v of_o it_o but_o have_v give_v we_o a_o plain_a commandment_n to_o receyve_v it_o affirm_v it_o to_o be_v his_o body_n and_o blood_n when_o he_o speak_v unto_o reverence_n like_v as_o we_o may_v read_v xii_o genes_n xxiiii_o exo._n iiii_o and_o xii_o that_o they_o of_o the_o old_a time_n do_v worshyppe_n god_n with_o the_o fall_a down_o upon_o their_o knee_n and_o with_o other_o token_n of_o honour_n &_o reverence_n so_o often_o as_o he_o do_v present_v himself_o unto_o they_o after_o any_o specyall_a or_o syngular_a manner_n as_o by_o the_o ministracyon_n of_o his_o word_n &_o sacrament_n wherefore_o this_o do_v well_o agree_v with_o the_o scripture_n that_o sing_v we_o have_v in_o the_o holy_a souper_fw-fr the_o lord_n himself_o only_o to_o be_v worship_v and_o take_v for_o the_o sacrament_n and_o none_o otherwise_o furthermore_o there_o can_v no_o man_n say_v that_o the_o bread_n and_o wine_n shall_v be_v christ_n himself_o comprehensyblye_o or_o natural_o bind_v he_o unto_o they_o because_o they_o have_v be_v once_o present_v at_o his_o holy_a souper_n but_o we_o must_v needs_o grant_v this_o sacrament_n to_o be_v
