of_o our_o sin_n and_o final_o by_o this_o place_n of_o the_o article_n of_o faith_n we_o may_v well_o believe_v and_o confess_v that_o after_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n obtain_v in_o this_o militant_a we_o think_v good_a therefore_o here_o to_o join_v a_o more_o plain_a and_o clear_a distinction_n there_o be_v two_o kind_n of_o man_n which_o like_a as_o they_o come_v to_o the_o hear_n of_o the_o word_n so_o may_v they_o come_v to_o receive_v the_o supper_n of_o the_o lord_n the_o ungodly_a and_o the_o godly_a again_o of_o the_o ungodly_a some_o be_v whole_o and_o simple_o wicked_a as_o atheist_n godless_a man_n also_o jew_n and_o turk_n and_o all_o such_o as_o know_v nothing_o and_o believe_v nothing_o of_o all_o those_o thing_n which_o they_o hear_v by_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n or_o see_v to_o be_v do_v by_o the_o administration_n of_o the_o sacrament_n nay_o they_o rather_o laugh_v at_o and_o contemn_v all_o such_o matter_n these_o if_o they_o come_v to_o the_o lord_n table_n they_o neither_o eat_v nor_o drink_v any_o thing_n else_o but_o bread_n and_o wine_n and_o that_o also_o not_o as_o they_o be_v sacrament_n for_o they_o know_v not_o of_o what_o thing_n &_o wine_n the_o reason_n be_v because_o they_o have_v no_o true_a faith_n by_o which_o alone_a christ_n body_n be_v true_o eat_v for_o all_o this_o the_o difference_n between_o these_o and_o the_o other_o be_v not_o little_a 1_o for_o the_o former_a see_v they_o believe_v none_o of_o all_o the_o thing_n which_o they_o hear_v concern_v christ_n body_n in_o the_o supper_n nor_o perceive_v any_o thing_n with_o their_o mind_n as_o little_a do_v they_o eat_v the_o true_a body_n of_o christ_n but_o only_o with_o the_o mouth_n of_o the_o body_n they_o eat_v bread_n as_o common_a bread_n but_o the_o other_o see_v that_o by_o their_o only_a historical_a hypocritical_a and_o temporal_a belief_n they_o understand_v in_o their_o mind_n and_o in_o some_o sort_n do_v believe_v the_o thing_n which_o be_v speak_v and_o do_v therefore_o by_o the_o same_o belief_n and_o mind_n they_o may_v be_v say_v in_o some_o sort_n to_o receive_v and_o in_o some_o sort_n to_o taste_v the_o body_n of_o christ_n offer_v in_o the_o word_n and_o sacrament_n although_o they_o do_v not_o in_o very_a deed_n eat_v it_o see_v they_o do_v not_o swallow_v nor_o retain_v the_o same_o for_o this_o proper_o be_v to_o eat_v in_o the_o stomach_n of_o their_o soul_n for_o nourishment_n of_o their_o spirit_n but_o rather_o do_v spew_v or_o vomit_v out_o the_o same_o be_v taste_v and_o after_o a_o sort_n receive_v down_o for_o so_o also_o we_o read_v in_o the_o 6_o to_o the_o heb._n of_o those_o temporary_a professor_n that_o they_o taste_v the_o heavenly_a gift_n and_o good_a word_n of_o god_n as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v they_o taste_v indeed_o and_o that_o also_o by_o the_o gift_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n but_o be_v taste_v they_o cast_v it_o up_o again_o and_o in_o the_o parable_n of_o the_o seed_n the_o temporary_a one_o be_v say_v to_o receive_v the_o seed_n of_o the_o word_n but_o that_o they_o keep_v it_o not_o and_o therefore_o bring_v forth_o no_o fruit_n by_o it_o these_o thing_n can_v be_v say_v of_o the_o first_o sort_n of_o these_o wicked_a one_o which_o be_v most_o true_a of_o the_o second_o sort_n namely_o these_o temporary_a hypocrite_n let_v this_o then_o be_v the_o first_o difference_n hereuppon_o follow_v another_o difference_n between_o the_o eat_n of_o those_o and_o these_o 2_o they_o see_v the_o bread_n which_o they_o take_v into_o their_o mouth_n they_o nether_a acknowledge_v nor_o believe_v it_o to_o be_v a_o sacrament_n of_o christ_n body_n therefore_o they_o take_v it_o and_o eat_v it_o not_o as_o a_o sacrament_n but_o as_o common_a bread_n and_o therefore_o can_v they_o not_o be_v say_v to_o eat_v the_o body_n of_o christ_n sacramentallie_o but_o these_o take_v the_o bread_n not_o as_o common_a bread_n but_o as_o a_o sacrament_n of_o christ_n to_o eat_v the_o lord_n true_a body_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o sacramental_a union_n which_o cause_v that_o he_o which_o receive_v the_o sign_n be_v by_o the_o church_n judge_v to_o have_v receive_v also_o the_o thing_n signify_v because_o there_o be_v no_o fault_n either_o in_o the_o institutor_n of_o the_o sacrament_n or_o in_o the_o sacrament_n itself_o but_o that_o he_o which_o have_v receive_v &_o eat_v the_o one_o may_v have_v also_o receive_v and_o eat_v the_o other_o since_o christ_n by_o the_o minister_n do_v true_o offer_v they_o both_o and_o the_o soundness_n and_o truth_n of_o the_o sacrament_n depend_v not_o upon_o our_o faith_n but_o upon_o christ_n institution_n so_o that_o if_o we_o receive_v not_o the_o whole_a sacrament_n but_o only_o the_o sign_n without_o the_o be_v also_o true_o ingraft_v into_o christ_n by_o a_o true_a and_o livelie_a faith_n with_o which_o alone_a the_o elect_a be_v endue_v they_o which_o be_v dead_a corporal_o can_v no_o long_o eat_v
