this_o to_o speak_v as_o the_o oracle_n of_o god_n and_o in_o his_o name_n 1_o pet._n 4._o 11._o may_v not_o such_o just_o expect_v the_o judgement_n of_o herod_n to_o be_v strike_v with_o a_o angel_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o to_o be_v eat_v up_o of_o worm_n because_o they_o give_v not_o the_o glory_n unto_o god_n of_o what_o they_o do_v or_o speak_v in_o his_o sacred_a name_n that_o be_v good_a or_o excellent_a and_o true_a etc._n etc._n and_o it_o be_v doubtful_a at_o least_o that_o such_o who_o utter_o exclude_v all_o that_o be_v not_o learn_v in_o the_o tongue_n i_o mean_v from_o speak_v unto_o man_n to_o edification_n and_o exhortation_n and_o comfort_n or_o from_o any_o ministration_n in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n in_o public_a especial_o that_o they_o thereby_o intimate_v that_o their_o ability_n for_o spiritual_a ministration_n be_v only_o attain_v through_o learnedness_n in_o the_o tongue_n for_o how_o else_o dare_v they_o be_v so_o bold_a as_o to_o limit_v the_o holy_a one_o of_o israel_n that_o he_o shall_v not_o speak_v but_o by_o the_o learned_a only_a object_n but_o it_o will_v be_v object_v that_o speak_v unto_o man_n to_o edification_n and_o exhortation_n and_o comfort_n be_v not_o proper_o to_o prophesy_v for_o prophesy_v be_v proper_o foreshow_v of_o thing_n to_o come_v though_o such_o who_o prophecy_n do_v ordinary_o also_o speak_v unto_o man_n to_o edification_n etc._n etc._n as_o well_o as_o prophesy_v of_o thing_n to_o come_v ans_fw-fr 1._o i_o answer_v first_o that_o they_o that_o edify_v the_o church_n build_v they_o up_o in_o faith_n and_o faith_n be_v of_o thing_n invisible_a and_o chief_o of_o thing_n to_o come_v for_o faith_n be_v the_o ground_n of_o thing_n hope_v for_o and_o the_o evidence_n of_o thing_n not_o see_v heb._n 11._o to_o come_v spiritual_a life_n i_o mean_v even_a joy_n and_o comfort_v unspeakable_a and_o full_a of_o glory_n see_v joh._n 10._o 10._o 28._o and_o 1_o joh._n 5._o 11_o 12_o 13._o yea_o for_o perfect_v of_o the_o saint_n as_o eph._n 4._o 11._o to_o 16._o 2._o and_o as_o for_o the_o other_o as_o of_o foreshow_v new_a thing_n to_o come_v as_o agabus_n prophesy_v of_o the_o dearth_n and_o famine_n over_o all_o the_o world_n though_o it_o be_v a_o part_n of_o prophesy_v not_o so_o ordinary_o attainable_a and_o more_o difficult_a in_o these_o day_n yet_o it_o be_v not_o so_o needful_a nor_o useful_a as_o the_o other_o and_o though_o it_o be_v a_o more_o certain_a and_o evident_a demonstration_n of_o the_o sacred_a spirit_n inspire_v into_o such_o when_o the_o thing_n be_v accomplish_v and_o come_v to_o pass_v yet_o that_o part_n of_o prophesy_v which_o the_o apostle_n commend_v as_o the_o chief_a of_o all_o to_o wit_n speak_v unto_o man_n to_o edification_n etc._n etc._n be_v both_o far_o more_o profitable_a and_o a_o clear_a evidence_n for_o the_o time_n present_a of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n than_o the_o other_o be_v and_o therefore_o i_o say_v first_o it_o be_v the_o most_o present_a evidence_n and_o most_o immediate_a demonstration_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o of_o power_n because_o foreshow_v of_o thing_n to_o come_v be_v no_o present_a and_o immediate_a evidence_n of_o itself_o till_o the_o thing_n be_v come_v to_o pass_v that_o be_v in_o truth_n foreshow_v though_o it_o be_v true_a that_o foreshow_v of_o thing_n to_o come_v be_v the_o very_a compliment_n and_o perfection_n of_o prophesy_v and_o the_o most_o visible_a demonstration_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n as_o deut._n 18._o 22._o and_o joh._n 16._o 13._o when_o the_o thing_n be_v accomplish_v 2._o but_o second_o yet_o this_o prophesy_v intend_v by_o the_o apostle_n be_v the_o most_o useful_a and_o the_o most_o profitable_a of_o all_o other_o gift_n for_o the_o edify_n of_o the_o church_n and_o therefore_o say_v the_o apostle_n follow_v after_o charity_n and_o desire_v spiritual_a gift_n but_o chief_o that_o you_o may_v prophesy_v 1_o cor_fw-la 14._o 1._o
