hungry_a and_o thirsty_a be_v neither_o earthly_a nor_o such_o as_o we_o use_v to_o take_v in_o by_o the_o mouth_n and_o other_o instrument_n of_o the_o body_n but_o altogether_o heavenly_a and_o such_o as_o must_v be_v eat_v &_o drunken_a by_o the_o mouth_n of_o our_o soul_n therefore_o we_o may_v be_v sure_a that_o herein_o there_o be_v a_o metaphor_n use_v and_o that_o in_o this_o phrase_n and_o speech_n by_o a_o similitude_n betwixt_o the_o hunger_n and_o thirst_n of_o the_o body_n and_o the_o affection_n of_o the_o soul_n by_o those_o term_n the_o lord_n mean_v the_o like_a passion_n and_o affection_n of_o the_o soul_n afore_o towards_o the_o mere_a and_o drink_v prepare_v therefore_o as_o be_v find_v in_o the_o body_n after_o meat_n and_o drink_v meeâ—e_a and_o fit_a for_o it_o thirst_n what_o it_o be_v to_o thirst_n see_v then_o that_o the_o ground_n and_o foundation_n of_o such_o metaphor_n be_v always_o the_o analogy_n and_o resemblance_n betwixt_o the_o metaphorical_a
