that_o which_o i_o intend_v to_o say_v when_o the_o communion_n of_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n be_v express_v by_o the_o word_n of_o eat_v this_o phrase_n be_v not_o simple_o and_o immediate_o draw_v from_o this_o act_n natural_a and_o common_a to_o all_o man_n yea_o to_o other_o live_a creature_n whereby_o we_o take_v our_o nourishment_n but_o of_o the_o action_n of_o the_o israelite_n communicate_v of_o the_o flesh_n of_o sacrifice_n and_o other_o sacred_a meat_n a_o action_n which_o be_v true_o natural_a material_o if_o we_o may_v so_o speak_v since_o that_o it_o consist_v in_o eat_v but_o formal_o and_o proper_o it_o be_v a_o sacred_a action_n and_o a_o point_n of_o the_o ceremonial_a law_n so_o that_o this_o speech_n to_o eat_v the_o body_n of_o christ_n be_v among_o those_o which_o be_v draw_v from_o the_o matter_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n the_o which_o appear_v also_o not_o to_o repeat_v all_o that_o which_o i_o have_v say_v before_o in_o that_o jesus_n christ_n have_v retain_v the_o term_n of_o it_o for_o among_o other_o speak_v of_o his_o blood_n he_o explain_v himself_o after_o the_o manner_n of_o the_o word_n of_o moses_n in_o exod._n 24._o v._o two_o sacramennt_n because_o that_o the_o wash_n and_o the_o eat_n represent_v very_o proper_o the_o application_n of_o jesus_n christ_n who_o be_v a_o spiritual_a wash_n and_o nourishment_n unto_o we_o but_o this_o reason_n go_v not_o far_o enough_o in_o the_o intention_n of_o our_o saviour_n the_o water_n be_v employ_v in_o baptism_n not_o simple_o because_o of_o its_o natural_a propriety_n of_o wash_v and_o cleanse_v but_o for_o a_o more_o particular_a reason_n likewise_o the_o nutritive_a virtue_n which_o be_v in_o the_o bread_n and_o in_o the_o wine_n be_v not_o the_o only_a cause_n nor_o the_o immediate_a cause_n wherefore_o they_o be_v choose_v for_o sign_n of_o the_o body_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n we_o must_v therefore_o know_v that_o in_o the_o old_a time_n under_o the_o law_n among_o the_o act_n which_o represent_v the_o application_n of_o future_a redemption_n there_o be_v two_o common_a and_o ordinary_a viz._n wash_v and_o eat_v there_o be_v indeed_o but_o these_o two_o act_n whereby_o the_o people_n participate_v of_o holy_a thing_n for_o they_o be_v exhibit_v to_o they_o either_o in_o wash_v as_o the_o water_n of_o sprinkle_v and_o the_o blood_n wherewith_o jesus_n christ_n have_v institute_v the_o sacrament_n to_o the_o number_n of_o two_o and_o why_o in_o these_o two_o manner_n abovesaid_a the_o one_o of_o wash_v the_o other_o of_o nourishment_n it_o be_v to_o the_o end_n that_o the_o same_o act_n which_o have_v in_o time_n past_o represent_v the_o
