keep_v the_o essential_a form_n in_o baptism_n though_o they_o have_v bring_v in_o trifle_n of_o their_o own_o and_o mix_v with_o it_o yet_o in_o respect_n they_o keep_v the_o substantial_a form_n it_o be_v not_o necessary_a that_o they_o who_o be_v baptize_v under_o they_o be_v rebaptise_v indeed_o if_o the_o virtue_n of_o regeneration_n flow_v from_o the_o person_n it_o be_v something_o but_o in_o respect_n christ_n have_v this_o to_o give_v to_o who_o &_o when_o he_o please_v the_o essential_a form_n be_v keep_v it_o be_v not_o necessary_a that_o this_o sacrament_n be_v reiterated_a now_o what_o be_v the_o fault_n in_o the_o person_n that_o pervert_v the_o sacrament_n the_o fault_n may_v be_v either_o in_o the_o person_n of_o the_o giver_n or_o in_o the_o person_n of_o the_o receiver_n i_o speak_v not_o of_o those_o common_a fault_n which_o be_v common_a to_o all_o but_o of_o such_o fault_n as_o disable_v the_o person_n of_o the_o giver_n to_o be_v a_o distributer_n of_o the_o sacrament_n &_o take_v the_o office_n from_o he_o so_o when_o the_o person_n of_o the_o giver_n be_v this_o way_n disable_v no_o question_n it_o be_v not_o a_o sacrament_n then_o again_o in_o the_o person_n of_o the_o receiver_n the_o fault_n may_v be_v if_o their_o child_n be_v not_o in_o the_o covenant_n but_o out_o of_o it_o they_o get_v not_o the_o sacrament_n indeed_o if_o the_o parent_n afterward_o come_v to_o the_o covenant_n the_o child_n though_o they_o be_v get_v out_o of_o the_o covenant_n may_v be_v receive_v even_o so_o in_o the_o l._n supper_n if_o a_o man_n be_v lade_v with_o any_o burden_n of_o sin_n without_o any_o purpose_n to_o repent_v he_o ought_v not_o to_o receive_v it_o so_o then_o if_o you_o come_v without_o a_o purpose_n to_o repent_v you_o lose_v the_o use_n of_o the_o sacrament_n it_o be_v only_o this_o purpose_n to_o repent_v that_o make_v i_o who_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n to_o get_v the_o fruit_n &_o effect_v thereof_o therefore_o every_o one_o who_o go_v to_o that_o sacrament_n must_v look_v what_o purpose_n he_o have_v in_o his_o hart_n have_v thou_o a_o purpose_n to_o murder_v to_o continue_v in_o adultery_n or_o to_o commit_v any_o other_o vile_a sin_n that_o be_v in_o thy_o hart_n and_o be_v not_o resolve_v to_o repent_v in_o show_v thou_o to_o be_v without_o repentance_n thou_o show_v thyself_o to_o be_v without_o faith_n a_o good_a case_n but_o if_o thou_o want_v all_o these_o and_o have_v they_o not_o in_o some_o measure_n thou_o want_v all_o the_o degree_n of_o preparation_n therefore_o let_v none_o come_v to_o this_o table_n except_o he_o have_v these_o in_o some_o measure_n but_o where_o there_o be_v a_o displeasure_n for_o sin_n a_o purpose_n to_o do_v better_o &_o a_o earnest_a sob_a and_o sigh_v to_o never_o come_v into_o thy_o mouth_n or_o to_o recover_v health_n by_o those_o drug_n which_o never_o be_v apply_v it_o be_v as_o impossible_a for_o thou_o to_o be_v feed_v by_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n &_o to_o get_v thy_o health_n by_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n except_o thou_o first_o eat_v his_o body_n and_o drink_v his_o blood_n then_o you_o see_v that_o the_o thing_n signify_v in_o the_o lord_n supper_n be_v not_o the_o fruit_n so_o much_o as_o the_o body_n and_o blood_n and_o christ_n jesus_n which_o be_v the_o fountain_n and_o substance_n from_o which_o these_o fruit_n do_v squall_n number_n for_o in_o baptism_n the_o thing_n that_o represent_v christ_n be_v water_n in_o the_o lord_n supper_n the_o thing_n that_o represent_v christ_n be_v bread_n and_o wine_n water_n be_v appoint_v to_o represent_v christ_n in_o baptism_n because_o it_o be_v meet_a to_o represent_v our_o wash_n with_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n for_o what_o be_v fit_a to_o wash_v with_o then_o nothing_o more_o meet_a to_o nourish_v the_o body_n than_o bread_n and_o wine_n so_o the_o lord_n have_v not_o choose_v these_o sign_n without_o a_o reason_n as_o the_o sign_n in_o the_o sacrament_n be_v not_o always_o one_o so_o the_o same_o in_o both_o be_v not_o of_o one_o number_n for_o in_o baptism_n we_o have_v but_o one_o element_n in_o this_o sacrament_n we_o have_v two_o element_n now_o what_o be_v the_o reason_n of_o this_o diversity_n that_o the_o lord_n in_o the_o one_o sacrament_n two_o why_o in_o baptism_n there_o be_v but_o one_o sign_n and_o in_o the_o lord_n supper_n two_o have_v appoint_v two_o sign_n and_o in_o the_o other_o but_o one_o sign_n i_o will_v show_v you_o the_o reason_n he_o have_v appoint_v only_o one_o sign_n in_o baptism_n to_o wit_n water_n because_o water_n be_v sufficient_a enough_o for_o the_o whole_a if_o water_n have_v not_o be_v sufficient_a to_o represent_v the_o thing_n signify_v he_o will_v have_v appoint_v another_o sign_n but_o in_o thou_o must_v have_v love_n towards_o thy_o neighbour_n &_o this_o love_n be_v never_o idle_a but_o be_v utter_v itself_o in_o one_o effect_n or_o other_o and_o in_o respect_n that_o faith_n be_v the_o ground_n whereupon_o all_o the_o rest_n depend_v and_o in_o respect_n that_o this_o faith_n be_v such_o a_o jewel_n as_o without_o the_o which_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a for_o any_o of_o you_o whereunto_o my_o soul_n be_v subject_a increase_v in_o my_o soul_n the_o more_o earnest_n will_v will_v i_o be_v to_o be_v reconcile_v and_o to_o be_v reconcile_v i_o will_v not_o stand_v for_o the_o have_v drown_v myself_o and_o have_v purchase_v my_o redemption_n by_o so_o dear_a a_o price_n not_o with_o gold_n nor_o with_o silver_n or_o any_o dross_n on_o the_o earth_n but_o by_o such_o a_o wonderful_a mean_n by_o such_o a_o precious_a price_n and_o rich_a ransom_n look_v to_o the_o greatness_n of_o our_o misery_n and_o to_o the_o greatness_n of_o the_o price_n whereby_o he_o have_v redeem_v we_o what_o heart_n be_v it_o but_o will_v willing_o renounce_v itself_o to_o get_v a_o part_n of_o that_o redemption_n and_o to_o be_v deliver_v out_o of_o that_o hell_n wherein_o we_o be_v to_o do_v thou_o must_v not_o be_v give_v to_o the_o service_n of_o thy_o affection_n and_o of_o thy_o appetite_n to_o put_v they_o in_o execution_n as_o thou_o have_v former_o do_v but_o in-case_n thy_o affection_n or_o lust_n command_v thou_o to_o do_v any_o thing_n what_o be_v thy_o part_n thou_o must_v try_v how_o far_o this_o may_v stand_v with_o the_o good_a will_n of_o god_n and_o how_o far_o that_o affection_n which_o command_v thou_o may_v agree_v with_o the_o law_n of_o god_n be_v there_o such_o a_o harmony_n as_o that_o that_o thing_n which_o thy_o affection_n command_v thou_o may_v stand_v with_o god_n law_n and_o holy_a will_n then_o no_o question_n it_o be_v a_o sanctify_a affection_n thou_o may_v put_v it_o in_o execution_n but_o after_o this_o trial_n if_o thou_o find_v thy_o affection_n to_o be_v exorbitant_a &_o out_o of_o rule_n carry_v thou_o from_o god_n &_o against_o his_o law_n beware_v of_o it_o resist_v it_o put_v it_o not_o in_o execution_n for_o if_o thou_o fulfil_v the_o will_n of_o thy_o affection_n what_o pleasure_n can_v it_o bring_v with_o it_o it_o may_v well_o bring_v a_o flatter_a pleasure_n in_o the_o entry_n but_o it_o close_v ever_o with_o a_o bitter_a remorse_n in_o the_o end_n then_o to_o eschew_v this_o bitter_a remorse_n shall_v you_o not_o all_o try_v your_o affection_n you_o must_v examine_v and_o try_v they_o by_o no_o he_o can_v now_o i_o speak_v not_o so_o precise_o that_o i_o make_v a_o soul_n to_o be_v full_o sanctify_v &_o perfect_o holy_a in_o this_o life_n no_o in_o this_o life_n there_o be_v wonderful_a iniquity_n gross_a sin_n &_o great_a fault_n wherewith_o even_o the_o righteous_a be_v defile_v but_o this_o be_v my_o meaning_n there_o be_v no_o soul_n can_v be_v at_o any_o peace_n with_o god_n or_o wherewith_o the_o lord_n can_v have_v any_o society_n but_o in_o some_o measure_n it_o must_v be_v sanctify_v and_o make_v holy_a for_o god_n can_v make_v residence_n in_o a_o soul_n that_o be_v
