the_o sacrament_n but_o how_o shall_v we_o know_v the_o mind_n of_o christ_n sure_o as_o a_o man_n mind_n be_v best_a know_v by_o his_o word_n so_o by_o christ_n word_n shall_v we_o know_v his_o as_o these_o be_v sign_n significative_a and_o show_v no_o gift_n but_o in_o the_o other_o sign_n which_o some_o call_v exhibitive_a be_v there_o not_o only_o a_o signification_n of_o the_o thing_n but_o also_o a_o declaration_n of_o a_o gift_n be_v in_o a_o certain_a manner_n a_o give_v also_o as_o baptism_n not_o only_o signify_v the_o cleanse_n of_o the_o conscience_n from_o sin_n by_o the_o sign_n and_o no_o better_a than_o common_a bread_n the_o holy_a ghost_n call_v it_o christ_n body_n who_o speech_n i_o wish_v we_o will_v follow_v and_o that_o not_o only_o as_o well_o to_o avoid_v thing_n hope_v for_o and_o of_o thing_n which_o to_o the_o bodily_a sense_n do_v not_o appear_v be_v to_o make_v no_o presence_n at_o all_o or_o to_o make_v he_o none_o otherwise_o present_a than_o he_o be_v in_o his_o word_n when_o it_o be_v preach_v and_o therefore_o what_o need_v we_o to_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n in_o as_o much_o as_o by_o this_o doctrine_n a_o man_n may_v receive_v he_o but_o the_o other_o part_n which_o serve_v special_o to_o consolation_n and_o certain_a persuasion_n of_o god_n love_n towards_o thou_o that_o be_v the_o gospel_n or_o publication_n of_o god_n mercy_n in_o christ_n i_o mean_v the_o free_a promise_n but_o here_o thou_o must_v know_v that_o there_o be_v two_o kind_n of_o promise_n one_o which_o be_v proper_o of_o the_o law_n another_o of_o the_o gospel_n in_o the_o promise_n of_o the_o law_n we_o may_v indeed_o behold_v god_n mercy_n but_o so_o that_o it_o hang_v upon_o the_o condition_n of_o our_o worthiness_n as_o if_o thou_o love_v the_o lord_n with_o all_o thy_o heart_n etc._n etc._n thou_o shall_v find_v mercy_n this_o kind_n of_o promise_n though_o it_o declare_v unto_o we_o god_n love_n which_o promise_v where_o he_o need_v not_o yet_o unto_o he_o that_o feel_v not_o christ_n which_o be_v the_o end_n of_o the_o law_n they_o be_v so_o far_a frnm_fw-la comfort_v that_o utter_o with_o the_o law_n they_o bring_v man_n to_o great_a of_o the_o gospel_n do_v not_o hang_v on_o the_o condition_n of_o our_o worthiness_n as_o the_o promise_n of_o the_o law_n do_v but_o they_o depend_v and_o hang_v on_o god_n truth_n that_o as_o god_n
