it_o shall_v be_v give_v you_o and_o our_o saviour_n pass_v his_o word_n 14._o that_o whatsoever_o we_o shall_v ask_v in_o his_o name_n he_o will_v do_v it_o can_v any_o thing_n be_v purchase_v at_o a_o low_a rate_n then_o ask_v this_o be_v the_o buy_n without_o money_n and_o without_o price_n do_v a_o man_n want_v wisdom_n counsel_n help_n do_v a_o sinner_n want_v grace_n pardon_v strength_n do_v a_o saint_n want_v light_n comfort_n rest_n let_v he_o but_o come_v and_o ask_v he_o shall_v find_v god_n ready_a to_o give_v than_o himself_o be_v to_o ask_v who_o sometime_o answer_v prayer_n before_o they_o be_v make_v and_o count_v it_o one_o of_o his_o great_a title_n that_o he_o be_v a_o hearer_n of_o prayer_n but_o some_o ask_v and_o have_v not_o because_o 3._o as_o the_o apostle_n say_v they_o ask_v amiss_o wherefore_o he_o that_o will_v pray_v aright_o so_o that_o he_o may_v obtain_v must_v come_v prepare_v &_o furnish_v with_o those_o grace_n which_o may_v make_v he_o accept_v 14._o let_v the_o word_n of_o my_o mouth_n and_o the_o meditation_n of_o my_o heart_n be_v acceptable_a in_o thy_o sight_n we_o must_v not_o rush_v into_o so_o great_a a_o presence_n for_o 5._o the_o foolish_a shall_v not_o stand_v before_o thou_o but_o consider_v the_o majesty_n of_o god_n and_o our_o own_o vileness_n be_v deep_o affect_v with_o the_o sense_n of_o his_o goodness_n and_o man_n misery_n and_o premeditate_v before_o hand_n what_o we_o have_v to_o say_v and_o how_o and_o indeed_o pray_v before_o we_o go_v to_o pray_v that_o god_n will_v prepare_v our_o heart_n for_o prayer_n for_o so_o the_o psalmist_n resolve_v the_o success_n of_o prayer_n 17._o thou_o shall_v prepare_v or_o direct_a their_o heart_n and_o shall_v cause_v thy_o ear_n to_o hear_v and_o though_o all_o the_o grace_n like_o a_o bed_n of_o spice_n be_v upon_o this_o occasion_n to_o breath_n forth_o their_o sweet_a odour_n yet_o some_o have_v a_o more_o particular_a employment_n such_o as_o be_v reverence_n in_o our_o high_a thought_n of_o god_n humility_n in_o our_o low_a thought_n of_o ourselves_o trust_v to_o rely_v upon_o his_o goodness_n and_o patience_n to_o wait_v his_o time_n knowledge_n that_o we_o may_v understand_v in_o some_o measure_n the_o nature_n of_o god_n and_o obedience_n that_o we_o may_v sincere_o perform_v his_o will_n zeal_n which_o may_v inflame_v and_o raise_v our_o affection_n towards_o he_o and_o constancy_n which_o may_v keep_v we_o in_o a_o daily_a practice_n of_o this_o deity_n and_o to_o those_o which_o call_v upon_o he_o so_o god_n will_v be_v near_o and_o will_v either_o do_v that_o which_o they_o ask_v or_o something_o which_o may_v be_v better_o for_o they_o who_o come_v irreverent_o put_v a_o affront_n upon_o god_n which_o a_o earthly_a prince_n will_v not_o brook_v he_o that_o be_v possess_v with_o a_o awe_n of_o greatness_n will_v take_v heed_n how_o he_o demean_v himself_o before_o it_o reverence_n then_o
