except_o they_o fly_v speedy_o from_o that_o devilish_a doctrine_n and_o look_v upon_o thy_o most_o merciful_a and_o sweet_a promise_n and_o with_o a_o steadfast_a faith_n assure_o believe_v the_o same_o doubtless_o they_o must_v needs_o fall_v into_o the_o
pit_n of_o desperation_n and_o from_o thence_o to_o the_o lake_n of_o condemnation_n for_o nothing_o else_o be_v a_o man_n able_a to_o deserve_v of_o himself_o except_o he_o have_v a_o steadfast_a faith_n in_o thy_o promise_n and_o believe_v that_o which_o thou_o have_v speak_v in_o thy_o holy_a word_n which_o be_v the_o entry_n that_o lead_v we_o unto_o salvation_n i_o beseech_v thou_o oh_o busy_a with_o all_o his_o might_n to_o tempt_v i_o that_o i_o may_v fall_v away_o from_o thou_o my_o good_a god_n and_o from_o thy_o sweet_a promise_n in_o my_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n and_o so_o to_o make_v my_o soul_n a_o prey_n for_o himself_o from_o who_o devilish_a temptation_n deliver_v i_o the_o father_n the_o son_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n amen_n a_o prayer_n to_o be_v say_v when_o one_o travel_v on_o his_o journey_n eternal_a and_o most_o love_a father_n like_v as_o this_o world_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o continual_a pilgrimage_n and_o that_o a_o man_n while_o he_o be_v in_o this_o world_n do_v nothing_o else_o but_o still_o labour_n and_o travel_v to_o gather_v unto_o himself_o worldly_a riches_n and_o promotion_n and_o the_o more_o he_o have_v the_o more_o he_o still_o desire_v so_o that_o here_o he_o do_v never_o think_v himself_o satisfy_v yea_o he_o be_v even_o as_o a_o bottomless_a bag_n that_o will_v never_o be_v fill_v be_v there_o never_o so_o much_o put_v into_o it_o even_o so_o good_a lord_n i_o beseech_v thou_o give_v i_o grace_n to_o have_v such_o a_o earnest_a desire_n unto_o thou_o that_o i_o may_v continual_o all_o the_o day_n of_o my_o life_n travel_n and_o labour_n to_o obtain_v thou_o know_v this_o that_o whosoever_o obtain_v thou_o have_v all_o thing_n &_o whosoever_o have_v all_o the_o world_n without_o thou_o have_v nothing_o be_v my_o well-beloved_a son_n in_o who_o i_o be_o well_o please_v hear_v he_o hereby_o may_v i_o see_v oh_o most_o merciful_a father_n the_o great_a love_n that_o thou_o bear_v unto_o this_o thy_o what_o a_o wretchedness_n be_v this_o that_o man_n will_v no_o better_o seek_v for_o the_o salvation_n of_o their_o soul_n but_o altogether_o for_o the_o vain_a pleasure_n of_o this_o life_n o_o lord_n i_o beseech_v thou_o thrust_v this_o worldly_a care_n out_o of_o my_o mind_n and_o let_v the_o care_n of_o heavenly_a thing_n take_v such_o deep_a root_n in_o my_o hart_n that_o it_o may_v evermore_o endure_v and_o continue_v so_o long_o as_o this_o earthly_a life_n do_v last_o another_o notable_a example_n of_o continuance_n do_v i_o find_v in_o thy_o faithful_a servant_n job_n in_o these_o word_n and_o the_o lord_n say_v unto_o sathan_n have_v thou_o not_o consider_v my_o servant_n job_n how_o none_o be_v like_o he_o in_o the_o earth_n an_o upright_o a_o just_a man_n and_o one_o that_o fear_v god_n and_o eschew_v evil_a for_o yet_o he_o continue_v in_o his_o uprightness_n although_o thou_o moove_v i_o against_o he_o to_o destroy_v he_o with_o out_o a_o cause_n here_o o_o lord_n
be_v the_o grace_n of_o thy_o holy_a spirit_n here_o be_v the_o gift_n of_o continuance_n unto_o the_o end_n who_o although_o he_o have_v lose_v all_o worldly_a pleasure_n yet_o will_v he_o never_o start_v from_o the_o obedience_n of_o thy_o holy_a will_n yea_o although_o sathan_n that_o ancient_a enemy_n of_o all_o mankind_n seek_v all_o the_o mean_n that_o he_o can_v devise_v to_o plague_v the_o carcase_n of_o poor_a job_n yet_o do_v he_o remain_v constant_a unto_o the_o end_n for_o all_o the_o trouble_n and_o persecution_n that_o he_o abode_n if_o it_o be_v thy_o will_n good_a father_n i_o pray_v thou_o to_o imprint_v this_o gracious_a gift_n of_o continuance_n in_o my_o hart_n that_o whatsoever_o cross_n or_o tribulation_n i_o suffer_v i_o may_v patient_o abide_v the_o same_o for_o as_o our_o saviour_n christ_n say_v he_o that_o take_v not_o his_o cross_n and_o follow_v i_o be_v not_o worthy_a of_o i_o and_o again_o he_o that_o will_v save_v his_o life_n shall_v lose_v it_o and_o he_o that_o lose_v his_o life_n for_o my_o sake_n shall_v find_v it_o oh_o unhappy_a man_n that_o will_v seek_v to_o save_v his_o life_n in_o this_o world_n and_o lose_v it_o in_o the_o life_n
