latitude_n of_o that_o sin-pleasing_a principle_n to_o which_o it_o be_v stretch_v as_o if_o man_n may_v be_v imputative_o holy_a though_o not_o inward_o holy_a and_o imputative_o righteous_a though_o not_o real_o righteous_a therefore_o they_o be_v clamour_v upon_o as_o if_o they_o deny_v the_o imputation_n of_o christ_n righteousness_n when_o it_o be_v only_o to_o those_o who_o be_v not_o make_v righteous_a by_o it_o to_o walk_v as_o he_o walk_v for_o the_o scripture_n do_v not_o say_v that_o he_o that_o say_v he_o be_v righteous_a by_o the_o imputation_n of_o christ_n righteousness_n but_o he_o that_o do_v righteousness_n be_v righteous_a even_o as_o he_o be_v righteous_a 1_o john_n 3._o 7._o what_o then_o shall_v we_o sin_n and_o yet_o think_v to_o be_v save_v by_o the_o impute_a righteousness_n of_o christ_n because_o we_o be_v not_o under_o the_o law_n but_o under_o grace_n god_n forbid_v that_o we_o shall_v sin_n in_o this_o state_n of_o grace_n say_v the_o apostle_n rom._n 6._o 15._o indeed_o the_o whole_a chapter_n speak_v the_o same_o sense_n viz._n that_o it_o be_v not_o our_o imputation_n or_o reckon_n of_o christ_n righteousness_n to_o ourselves_o will_v justify_v we_o but_o he_o impart_v and_o impute_v it_o to_o we_o and_o this_o shall_v suffice_v in_o answer_n to_o the_o second_o general_a charge_n against_o this_o people_n in_o every_o particular_a of_o which_o may_v be_v see_v what_o gross_a abuse_n have_v be_v cast_v upon_o they_o whereby_o the_o envious_a and_o ill-affected_a have_v seek_v to_o cover_v their_o principle_n with_o their_o own_o have_v sometime_o find_v myself_o much_o sway_v by_o but_o since_o i_o find_v it_o be_v more_o by_o education_n and_o tradition_n than_o any_o certain_a evidence_n i_o can_v have_v of_o the_o truth_n of_o that_o religion_n i_o find_v myself_o oblige_v to_o detect_v those_o error_n in_o public_a which_o i_o have_v hear_v divers_a of_o they_o cast_v upon_o the_o people_n call_v quaker_n in_o private_a charitable_o judge_v they_o speak_v not_o so_o much_o against_o they_o out_o of_o ill_a will_n as_o ignorance_n of_o and_o unacquaintance_n with_o their_o blameless_a principle_n though_o this_o be_v bad_a enough_o for_o people_n to_o speak_v evil_a of_o thing_n they_o know_v not_o and_o for_o such_o as_o be_v divide_v among_o themselves_o to_o join_v together_o against_o other_o as_o some_o have_v confess_v to_o i_o that_o though_o they_o differ_v in_o many_o particular_n yet_o they_o all_o agree_v in_o this_o to_o set_v their_o seal_n against_o the_o quaker_n but_o who_o they_o be_v i_o have_v and_o shall_v at_o present_a conceal_v desire_v not_o to_o expose_v they_o but_o to_o inform_v they_o that_o so_o set_v before_o they_o their_o error_n and_o mistake_v some_o of_o they_o at_o least_o may_v see_v and_o repent_v they_o wherein_o they_o have_v speak_v and_o do_v amiss_o chap._n iii_o touch_v the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n and_o of_o the_o saint_n as_o concern_v the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o body_n of_o our_o bless_a lord_n jesus_n and_o also_o the_o body_n of_o believer_n this_o i_o have_v be_v bear_v down_o in_o that_o the_o quaker_n do_v not_o own_o in_o answer_n to_o which_o though_o i_o have_v something_o to_o reply_v in_o their_o behalf_n at_o that_o season_n yet_o i_o must_v confess_v the_o respect_n i_o have_v to_o add_v that_o this_o report_n be_v a_o utter_a falsehood_n for_o they_o do_v believe_v as_o it_o be_v record_v in_o the_o scripture_n that_o christ_n jesus_n who_o descend_v into_o the_o low_a part_n of_o the_o earth_n the_o same_o ascend_v up_o far_o above_o all_o heaven_n that_o he_o may_v fill_v all_o thing_n and_o sit_v now_o at_o the_o right-hand_n of_o god_n in_o his_o glorious_a body_n 54._o and_o therefore_o shall_v the_o low_a estate_n and_o humble_a body_n of_o believer_n be_v make_v like_o unto_o his_o glorious_a body_n through_o the_o work_n of_o his_o mighty_a power_n that_o the_o strong_a may_v be_v consolate_v therefore_o do_v our_o minister_n labour_n in_o the_o word_n and_o doctrine_n to_o convert_v sinner_n to_o christ_n jesus_n the_o gift_n of_o god_n and_o to_o build_v up_o saint_n in_o their_o most_o holy_a faith_n and_o to_o edify_v one_o another_o in_o love_n thus_o much_o in_o answer_n to_o the_o objection_n so_o i_o return_v to_o the_o point_n in_o its_o counsel_n be_v heed_v and_o the_o soul_n guide_v by_o it_o it_o preserve_v and_o defend_v in_o all_o exigency_n and_o straits_n but_o i_o pass_v over_o its_o special_a use_n intend_v to_o show_v
