ordination_n of_o god_n appear_v because_o the_o merit_n of_o chrâ—st_n depend_v thereupon_o according_a to_o that_o of_o mr._n caluin_n christ_n can_v not_o deserve_v any_o thing_n but_o by_o the_o good_a pleasure_n of_o god_n 1._o caluin_n justit_fw-la l._n 2_o 1._o 17._o the_o 1._o but_o because_o he_o be_v appoint_v to_o this_o purpose_n with_o his_o sacrifice_n to_o appease_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o with_o his_o obedience_n to_o put_v away_o our_o offence_n etc._n etc._n now_o if_o this_o be_v true_a in_o the_o meritorious_a cause_n of_o our_o salvation_n which_o do_v purchase_v it_o much_o more_o be_v it_o in_o the_o instrumental_a which_o make_v we_o but_o person_n capable_a of_o it_o now_o it_o be_v procure_v by_o he_o and_o so_o much_o for_o clear_v the_o second_o suppose_a heresy_n and_o blasphemy_n the_o three_o heretical_a blasphemous_a position_n be_v this_o that_o i_o say_v the_o act_n of_o faith_n which_o be_v believe_v in_o christ_n do_v justify_v we_o and_o be_v our_o righteousness_n of_o this_o sentence_n i_o will_v not_o say_v much_o here_o because_o i_o have_v maintain_v it_o to_o be_v sound_a doctrine_n in_o my_o sense_n in_o a_o private_a writing_n to_o himself_o which_o he_o promise_v to_o answer_v but_o yet_o have_v not_o perform_v it_o as_o also_o in_o a_o public_a defence_n in_o print_n and_o in_o the_o view_n of_o the_o world_n which_o be_v peruse_v and_o also_o allow_v by_o two_o very_a learned_a and_o godly_a doctor_n of_o divinity_n for_o that_o end_n which_o i_o humble_o pray_v the_o reader_n to_o peruse_v for_o his_o satisfaction_n if_o he_o be_v doubtful_a even_o as_o this_o apology_n also_o have_v be_v prove_v and_o approve_v by_o the_o same_o worthy_a divine_n and_o so_o i_o pass_v from_o the_o heresy_n and_o blasphemy_n with_o which_o he_o charge_v i_o to_o the_o perjury_n lie_v and_o contradiction_n which_o be_v instance_a by_o two_o particular_n the_o first_o instance_n to_o prove_v the_o perjury_n
