have_v upon_o they_o namely_o much_o joy_n and_o alacrity_n in_o the_o mind_n of_o their_o present_a suffering_n and_o calamity_n as_o the_o word_n i_o have_v read_v do_v declare_v unto_o you_o wherein_o you_o great_o rejoice_v etc._n etc._n in_o which_o verse_n we_o may_v observe_v first_o the_o christian_n great_a joy_n second_o the_o christian_n great_a sorrow_n i._o you_o have_v here_o believer_n great_a joy_n arise_v from_o hope_n of_o their_o future_a salvation_n in_o these_o word_n wherein_o you_o great_o rejoice_v ii_o the_o christian_n or_o the_o saint_n great_a sorrow_n arise_v from_o sense_n of_o their_o present_a tribulation_n you_o be_v in_o heavyness_n through_o manifold_a temptation_n which_o heaviness_n or_o which_o temptation_n be_v set_v forth_o first_o by_o the_o time_n of_o they_o second_o by_o the_o ground_n of_o they_o i._o by_o the_o time_n of_o they_o and_o that_o be_v declare_v in_o these_o word_n now_o for_o a_o season_n ii_o by_o the_o ground_n then_o certain_o hypocrite_n and_o unbeliever_n and_o the_o enemy_n of_o god_n and_o godliness_n the_o time_n be_v come_v they_o shall_v have_v such_o a_o life_n that_o they_o will_v be_v glad_a it_o may_v be_v at_o a_o end_n but_o alas_o it_o shall_v never_o end_v rev._n 9.6_o ver_fw-la they_o shall_v seek_v death_n and_o shall_v not_o find_v it_o and_o shall_v desire_v to_o die_v and_o death_n his_o servant_n into_o he_o bring_v they_o out_o again_o even_o in_o this_o world_n their_o fit_n of_o sorrow_n do_v not_o last_v always_o though_o they_o have_v their_o sad_a paroxysm_n they_o have_v some_o intermission_n notwithstanding_o sad_a fit_n and_o yet_o they_o have_v a_o deliverance_n you_o have_v hear_v of_o the_o temptation_n of_o job_n and_o you_o have_v hear_v of_o the_o people_n misery_n and_o sometime_o he_o give_v they_o that_o faith_n whereby_o they_o be_v confident_a that_o deliverance_n shall_v come_v psal_n 71.20_o 21._o vers_fw-la thou_o who_o have_v show_v i_o great_a and_o sore_o trouble_v shall_v quicken_v i_o again_o and_o shall_v bring_v i_o up_o from_o the_o depth_n of_o the_o earth_n thou_o shall_v increase_v my_o greatness_n and_o comfort_v i_o on_o every_o side_n he_o be_v not_o so_o deep_a in_o the_o pit_n of_o affliction_n but_o god_n will_v raise_v he_o up_o again_o and_o he_o be_v not_o so_o surround_v with_o cross_n but_o god_n will_v comfort_v he_o on_o every_o side_n yea_o confident_a he_o be_v of_o this_o and_o that_o faith_n manytimes_o of_o deliverance_n keep_v up_o their_o spirit_n under_o the_o sense_n of_o their_o present_a trouble_n psal_n 27.13_o ver_fw-la say_v the_o psalmist_n speak_v of_o the_o good_a issue_n he_o hope_v for_o i_o have_v faint_v unless_o i_o have_v believe_v to_o see_v the_o goodness_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o the_o land_n 〈◊〉_d the_o live_n the_o thought_n of_o his_o future_a salvation_n do_v refresh_v and_o uphold_v his_o spirit_n under_o the_o sense_n of_o his_o present_a tribulation_n nay_o sometime_o though_o god_n people_n have_v not_o that_o faith_n to_o believe_v they_o shall_v be_v deliver_v yet_o he_o will_v show_v they_o that_o mercy_n to_o cause_n deliverance_n as_o god_n be_v able_a so_o he_o always_o do_v abundant_o beyond_o what_o his_o people_n ask_v and_o think_v if_o not_o beyond_o what_o they_o pray_v for_o yet_o beyond_o what_o they_o hope_v they_o shall_v have_v
