mercy_n what_o if_o such_o a_o religion_n shall_v obtain_v a_o temporal_a reward_n it_o be_v insufficient_a to_o evidence_n a_o real_a interest_n in_o the_o save_a love_n of_o god_n there_o be_v no_o opportune_o present_v because_o the_o one_o be_v only_o the_o labour_n of_o the_o body_n the_o other_o require_v the_o exercise_n of_o the_o soul_n the_o one_o may_v be_v a_o weariness_n to_o the_o flesh_n but_o the_o other_o be_v cross_a and_o opposite_a to_o the_o belove_a interest_n of_o it_o and_o carnal_a heart_n may_v make_v shift_n to_o brook_v the_o one_o though_o they_o can_v bear_v the_o other_o a_o little_a outward_a penance_n and_o mortification_n of_o the_o body_n they_o can_v undergo_v but_o a_o true_a repentance_n of_o sin_n that_o consist_v in_o desert_v the_o practice_n
