and_o reduce_v they_o to_o their_o obedience_n the_o king_n be_v now_o bring_v in_o our_o brethren_n the_o scot_n now_o satisfy_v and_o depart_v the_o kingdom_n all_o danger_n seem_o blow_v over_o and_o peace_n in_o all_o their_o quarter_n we_o embolden_v by_o the_o many_o fold_v promise_n and_o declaration_n to_o defend_v and_o protect_v those_o that_o appear_v and_o act_v in_o the_o service_n do_v herewith_o humble_o present_a to_o your_o excellency_n the_o annex_v representation_n of_o our_o desire_n which_o we_o humble_o beseech_v your_o excellency_n to_o recommend_v or_o represent_v late_a war_n may_v not_o hereafter_o be_v compel_v by_o press_n or_o otherwise_o to_o serve_v as_o soldier_n out_o of_o this_o kingdom_n nor_o those_o who_o have_v serve_v as_o horseman_n may_v be_v compel_v by_o press_n to_o serve_v on_o foot_n in_o any_o future_a case_n 4._o that_o such_o in_o this_o army_n as_o have_v lose_v their_o life_n and_o the_o wife_n and_o child_n of_o such_o as_o have_v be_v slay_v in_o the_o service_n and_o such_o officer_n and_o soldier_n as_o have_v sustain_v loss_n or_o have_v be_v prejudice_v in_o their_o estate_n by_o adhere_v unto_o the_o parliament_n or_o in_o their_o person_n by_o sickness_n or_o imprisoment_n under_o the_o enemy_n may_v have_v such_o allowance_n and_o satisfaction_n as_o may_v be_v agreeable_a to_o justice_n and_o equity_n 5._o
